This just looks bogus to me. Although if it's true, this is my one major concern: Both Sony and Microsoft's consoles will then have HDCP protection built in by having an HDMI port (instead of the analog component output which has no such protection). This could open up the possibility that all HD discs could enable the ICT (Image Constraint Token) that limits HD discs to 480p over component cables. If this happens, then my lovely 360 HD-DVD player will only output 480p movies that use the ICT. This worries me a little and I hope that at the very least there is some sort of HDMI adapter that M$ makes to compensate for people that have the current 360's.
