I wonder if this has anything to do with Ziff Davis (publishers of EGM, 1UP.com, and some other stuff) filing for bankruptcy protection a week or so ago?morph_basic

Highly unlikely, since they announced the change well over a month ago, maybe even 2 months ago now... It has been a while sicne they announced they were going to change it.

Yu-Gi-Oh Falsebound Kingdom for GCN: It's just bad. Its like an RTS mixed with turn based battles, it was simple, boring, and in dire need of voice acting.

Devil May Cry 2: Do I even have to explain?

THPS1 for GBC: Tony Hawk + Side Scrolling = mistakes.

I like the change a lot personally, tired of people thinking that if a game scores under a "9/10" it is the worst game ever. Also your school uses E? That is so weird, never heard of a school doing that before.

[QUOTE="Planeforger"]I'd probably swap Prime and Fusion, since Fusion felt too linear, but other than that, this list would be identical to mine.foxhound_fox

The only reason I put Fusion over Prime is because I really enjoyed the narrative between Samus and Adam Malkovich. No other Metroid game gives Samus a voice (so to speak) and that made me really enjoy it, linear or not.

yes. For myself while I am not a large metroid fan, Metroid Fusion is my favorite in the series because I always found Samus to be such a boring character until this game. It gave Samus some sort of life because personally I felt that I could of been playing as anyone through the other games and it not be able to tell a difference, she is just mega boring.

Hmm, while my memory is a bit rusty I would have to say Goldenrod in the Johto region. Sure it had GB graphics but in terms of "most buildings" (granted you could not entre them all) I would say it had more than any of the "large" cities in pokemon games to date.

Not sure what to say, while I like the 64 version it has nothing on melee in terms of gameplay and value, better controls (mainly from using a controller that doesn't leave blisters on the skin) and much more to do. It has EVERYTHING the original has plus more. Seriously, there is nothing from a technical/value/graphic/gameplay standpoint that SSB does better than SSBM, the only thing that makes it better is an opinion.. which everyone has and I respect... just pointing out there is technically nothing better about it compared to its younger brother and you can't exactly prove otherwise.

I keep all of mine, I like collecting them and just having them on display in my room. I enjoy looking over at my shelves to see 200+ games.

When I was younger my parents found a nice set of stuff at a yardsale for 100 bucks, an NES, the zapper, power glove, 2 normal controllers, a max controller or whatever... the one with a weird D-pad, along with 50 or so games. Was such an amazing birthday present...

[QUOTE="zoradude"]

[QUOTE="gr8scott"]This character isn't really that way, but I can't get over how he looks. He's Vaan from Final Fantasy 12. Two things about him really stand out. First one has to be this guy's outfit. I mean what was SE thinking with this guy's outfit? It's one thing to give him a vest, but it needs to be longer and not look like a woman's halter top. The second is the guy's hair. It looks like a woman's haircut with all that thickness. I mean come on, there are better choices to choose from the hair cuts. He just looks wrong.Bauers-Twin

Vaan doesn't look gay at all.

You have to remember the game takes place in a different world, universe or whatever. It means different culture, and different clothing styles, that is the reason you don't see Vaan running around in a t-shirt and jeans. As for his hair, honestly it looks a lot like Squalls or Zidane's, yet you don't seem to be questioning either of them...

Vaan acts gay IMO idk he seems a little weird. Weirder than Cloud and Tidus.

In a nutshell he acts like a kid with a goal. Thats it really.
