Those are such amazing pictures. While I was not in a huge hurry to get the game asap (course I want it, I played SSBM to death) Those pics have made me want it even more, oh and the 10 hour single player maybe sorta helped too.

I would suggest seeing if you can find a no name local game store. There is a used game store in my local town that has always been pretty good (depending on who was working in there at the time). Managed to get a good deal on a few of my games and when getting a faulty used game they let me replace it for free with a game that actually costed more than the original. Those kind of no name "Ma and pa" are just the way to go imo.

Saw it yesterday, very funny story. I think its not so much she doesn't look like Zelda as it is she needs new clothes. She reminds me of someone I would not want to meet in life, seems like the kind of person that would be loud and annoying.

It was riding around a "6.0" for me until I killed a boss with the missle launcher without ever moving Dante or taking any damage. That is when it became mediocre for me.... so bad I never even popped in the other disc to play as whatever-her-name-is.

We just had this discussion the other day... But anyhow materia is cool and all but not my favorite. I really enjoy FFX's grid system and FFXII's licence board... However, this may sound weird but it does apply - I really like WoW's talent trees. They offer nice cutomization for your character without really being overpowered. You have to make sacrifices to get some stuff so it is all about picking and choosing. While some builds trump others a skilled player can work with a few different things, and you can tweak cookie cutter builds to move them to your playstyle. I would love to see something like that in a single player non-online game.

What is wrong with not having video reviews exactly? I assume 2/3's of the people just look at the score of the game and go on about their day anyway. But what is so wrong with reading a review exactly?

I disagree. But it does take a deranged mind to beat it... like mine.

Yea, I have made it pretty far in the game but it is not good... I can't really say it is hard just completely stupid at times.

I am very saddened that there is no River City Ransom.. man I really want that game. I suppose there is a GBA remake iirc? I should look into that.

Finally, another Balthier fan! A lot of people say the cast of FFXII was very weak, but I thought it was the best one since VII. Balthier is probably my favorite FF character ever in the series, he was just so well voiced and animated, and his relationship with Fran was cool to see develop.

Ontopic, FFVII for the next gen just came out. Its called Lost Odyssey.

TheCrazed420

I am quite scared... another person on the planet that likes FF12 AND Balthier? I am not sure what to say.. FF12 is certainly my favorite in the series... That makes a whole 3 people not inlcuding myself that like the game.

Anyway, to the people talking about grinding through the series, WHAT? Grinding in 7, 8, or 6 is silly to me. I have beat all three (okay, not 8 but I could not stand the final fight enough to have the will to beat it) and I did not grind in any of them. Ever. In fact the only games in the series I have found myself grinding on was 1, 4, and 12. I found on all the other FF games through the series if you just never run away from a fight you will usually be powerful enough to beat any boss through the actual main story (side quests/bosses are another story). That is just from my experience though.
