Yeah I was just waiting for this thread to come into an argument about final fantasy lead protagonists. Most teenage boys seem to think that any protagonist that doesn't have a crew cut and huge muscles is automatically homosexual.

This comment me makes me LOL so hard in real life. Because it is funny? Not at all, but because it is absolutely true and depressing.

Speaking of teenage boys, Vaan is only 16 or 17 for the record.

This character isn't really that way, but I can't get over how he looks. He's Vaan from Final Fantasy 12. Two things about him really stand out. First one has to be this guy's outfit. I mean what was SE thinking with this guy's outfit? It's one thing to give him a vest, but it needs to be longer and not look like a woman's halter top. The second is the guy's hair. It looks like a woman's haircut with all that thickness. I mean come on, there are better choices to choose from the hair cuts. He just looks wrong.gr8scott

Vaan doesn't look gay at all.

You have to remember the game takes place in a different world, universe or whatever. It means different culture, and different clothing styles, that is the reason you don't see Vaan running around in a t-shirt and jeans. As for his hair, honestly it looks a lot like Squalls or Zidane's, yet you don't seem to be questioning either of them...

[QUOTE="Saruman1719"]

I do have a Dreamcast, I finally replaced my first one a month or so ago. I actually just wrapped up Grandia II last night, which is one of my favorite RPG's, regardless of what any one says. On to Skies of Arcadia....in between many bouts of Brawl!

EdgecrusherAza

Grandia 2 surprised me. I loved that game, and I went into it not expecting much. Was gonna pick up another copy, but damn RPG's sell for too much money on Ebay. Grandia 2 is no exception.

Yea, Grandia 2 is a wonderful game, probably one of my favorite battle systems in an RPG, I really can't recall much about anything else in the game though because it was so long ago when I played it and I kind of rushed through it... Need to buy a new DC someday...

Mine still turns on and I can go through menus and such but it will not spin discs :(.

On another note though I (and well probably everyone else) would freak out if a DC2 was ever made... man I loved that little guy.

Hmm, Colosseum and XD are very much like the the handheld ones with some twists... but I can see why some people do not appreciate them. Anyway, I highly doubt we will ever see the usual gym/capture/beat E4 type Pokemon game on the Wii, instead more spinoffs like Colo and XD... which I am personally happy for, as much as I enjoy Pokemon and even put 140 hours into Pearl very fast I like something offbeat every so often not the same rehashed stuff.

yes, start with 1, it can give you a decent idea of the comat since 3 is really just it but expanded and very nice... and like everyone else has basically said do not play #2 at all, ever. Just do something very violent with it...

You should probably read other threads before posting basically the same thing someone did just days earlier... but anyway... I don't even give a crap about video reviews anyway, I am not lazy enough to not read things, I don't see why people get worked up over not having a video review for something.

I can only think of 2 modern games.

Metroid Prime: Hunters - Maybe I missed something, maybe I didn't, but I have no idea at all as to where to go in this game. I essentially restart it everytime I go to seriously play it but I quit from frustration of no idea what is going on. Some people claim the game is really liner, and I can't really judge that. Maybe it would be linear if I could find the starting point but I just seem to wander around with no real goal in mind... Not sure if I will ever finish this one.

Baten Kaitos - Love the game really, a nice twist to classic turn based fighting that keeps you on your toes during a battle, wonderful graphics/art style, the only thing it really lacks for me is the horrid voice acting (trust me NES games have done better). I made it to the final dungeon or so but stopped playing it for some reason I can't remember. When I tried to pick it up again i really did not know what was going on in the story at all so I just deleted the file. I plan to go back sometime I replay the whole thing, possibly soon.
