I'm an introvert. However, I do enjoy playing co-op with closes friends and family.

Playing with random people and pugs are the bane of my gaming existence. Too many douchebags out there unfortunately.

Builder and analyst from the looks of it. No surprise here.

I'm basically a mix of the Builder, Reader and Introvert...

what's the name of the game where the guy chops down grass in an autumn-ey forest during "the Builder"

Analyst for me

I spend more time as a builder in my whiterun house in Skyrim. Roaming the lands finding cool things to spread out on my tables. Oh what good times! I HAD A MUSIC ROOM!!!

Oh good, gamespot hired an actual gamer; only came to this site for Tom McShea's reviews before. If you could have a picture of health person review the fitness games rather than some grotesque stereotypical pc nerd, that would be appreciated.

In order of compatibility;

1.Analyst

2.Reader

3.Introvert

Games such as; Limbo, Persona, TLOZ, Myst, Fragile Dreams, Zero Escape are what Interest me.

Games such as; COD, WOW, Far Cry etc. Are boring to me.

Interesting reading everyone's comments to see how they compare.

Playing alot, instead sport games like football and brainless first person shooters, i prefer smart games,any kind of strategy games and rpg

I think its safe to say everyone drifts a little bit through most of these if they play alot of games. Good video also name dropped harvest moon: +10 respect

Guess i am a Introvert> Reader>Analyst.

Introvert > Reader > Builder > Analyst - for me

Introvert. Multiplayer was fun on a Lan with friends, or online during the Quake 3 + Team Arena era, but I don't have time for playing games with idiots who shout and swear-chat while playing and think they are cool. If you bring back Multiplayer with zero player to player text chat or voice chat...then give me a call. Solo gaming is where the best, classic gaming experiences are, and should remain a main focus in my humble opinion, despite all the fun that multiplayer gaming brings to the gaming world. Give me Hyrule or Dead Space over Call of Duty and Battlefield (online components!) any day!!

I feel like i'm a little of everything, Just depends on the time of day.

This reminds me of those bogus personality tests that they gave at one place I worked. They are all essentially useless, and it's kind of insulting, to be identified solely by a stereotype (and I'm not talking specifically about gaming stereotypes, but any kind of stereotype). Stereotypes are lies that we tell ourselves because we are too lazy to actually deal with an individual.

Sometimes I become a reader when I need to get important information to complete some quest.

I guess introvert could be thrown in with my exterminator-completionist tendencies. MMO's are the only multiplayer games I'll play. Even then I'll party only if needed, and I rarely join a guild.

You are obviously stunningly beautiful (as many awfully mannered members indicate) but your good looks in no way overshadow your professionalism and great work. This whole feature seems rather....needless. I appreciate trying to think out of the box, but this is not Entertainment Weekly. Try to at least go a but deeper with the content.

I picked extrovert before, but for anything other than FPS multiplayer I'm an introvert. I'm confused! lol

As interesting as the 'what gamer are you?' concept is its flawed. I have wide ranging variance in my gaming collection from Limbo to Fifa 13 and i'm always playing 3 or 4 different games roughly 2 or 4 hours a day if I can. In terms of this episode i'm a reader and but more of an introvert. But i'd still class myself as different gamer each time I play otherwise i'd get very bored

I'm a bit of an exterminator, but only when the enemies are real people (across all genres, I'm not speaking shooter specific). But then I love world immersion. When a world is truly sold, not as a quest hub.

@SlashHalberd you do understand that human behavior is often categorized into different types right? be it in psychology, marketing or even biology. everyone, being an expert or just another average person, puts you and everything that happens in different groups so that they may better understand the workings of reality. It is not pretentious to try to make certain generalizations in the behavior of gamers yet it IS pretentious to claim ones complete individuality.
