What Gamer Are You? Part Two

So listening to her analysis of the next four gamer types, what does that make me? Hhhhmmm, a mix of a completionist, reader, introvert, and analyst. That's why I don't do alot of MP stuff these days outside of MMO's & Co-Op's.

so far im just a mix of all of these types. i just game for fun while experiencing a storyline and being competitive.

It's not a zodiac test, its not that the kind of game you tend to play determines the outcome. It's more how you play them. I am the introvert, yet I play call of duty. How is this? Well first I rage at multiplayer and never talk to my teammates. Second I play the campaigns. Minecraft is big for me, so are games like fallout, skyrim, assassin's creed and so forth. But again it's not the game, it's how you play the game. Builders will have noticeably different world setups in minecraft than than the extroverts and analysts will. It's not the world you prefer, but the what you do with the world you find yourself in, like real life.

I'm a super gamer mutt. So far I'm part completionist, exterminator, reader, builder, introvert, analyst. I play so many different games that I don't think any single type applies to me.

I'm an analytically introverted extrovert? I think I just don't really care as long as it's an enjoyable gaming experience. Some games tack on garbage "side quests/collectibles/text" that don't make the game worth being 100% or read all the way through while others do. Games are almost always better with a friend though. Depends on my mood really. Only thing I really don't like is stuff like horde mode and zombies. Terrible AI with unbalanced difficulty and mindless shooting.

This would make more sense if we were overflowed by games.

I would only play sandbox rpgs if there were enough good ones.

But there's not enough of anything, so we have to play everything.

On this note where's muhh fallout fouuurrrrrrr.

I'm a combination of several types you haven't mentioned yet... the "Super-Hero" (someone who plays games to "feel" awesome, doesn't enjoy games that are too tough, challenging or realistic, prefers to be a protagonist who can do crazy-cool things like a super-hero, enjoying games like infamous, Assasins Creed 2+, Batman Arkham City and games with crazy guns like Killzone 3 or Resistance 3). I'm also the "Thrill-Seeker" (someone who enjoys games that give you an adrenalin rush leading to "oh snap!" moments like Need for Speed, SSX, Burnout). I'm also someone who enjoys Creative elements, not as obsessed with building as to be playing the Sims but enjoys Halo's Forge, Modnation Racers track editor, Little Big Planet level design and Far Cry 3's map editor.

I am the Rage Quitter. When the going gets tough I quit. I can be found playing anything especially games that require no effort or have a very easy mode. I never finish a game and I always complain and hate on it. I prefer to burn copies of Dark Souls than play them. Long live Solitaire.

I used to be a reader/analyst/introvert/builder but then I started playing multiplayer games, especially LoL. So I have no idea what I am now :S, guess I'll have to wait for the other parts to come out
