Xbox One Price Drop - Can it Finally Beat the PS4?

If you can show me a game that is 40% better looking/playing on the PS4, I will concede. The only differences that have EVER been pointed out are on static images, side-by-side, with commentary telling me what to look for. Even then we are hard pressed finding a difference between the two. Researchers call that a Placebo...

@silversix_ No that's the Wii U and even that's got enough power to deliver any gaming experience you could want. All the PS4 does is the same at higher res/more bells etc.

@silversix_ 40% less? What are you smoking? Ryse from launch still looks better than anything else out there. That's not including modded support on PC.

@silversix_ LOL!! No. Quantum Break, Horizon 2, Tomb Raider, Sunset Overdrive. KI2, Ori and the Blind Forest, Fable Legends, Crackdown and more new IP's coming. It definitely a next gen consoles Quantum Break proves that hands down. You have no clue what Next-Gen even means. Has nothing to do with hardware specs at all. You must have been born in the last 25 yrs.

@Jdzspace It's only in third place for now. The Xbox One is only 1.3 units behind the Wii U, which has been out for a full year longer, is cheaper, and more rooted exclusive franchises. The Xbox One won't catch the PS4 anytime soon in sales, that boat has sailed, but it's been tripling the Wii U for the past couple weeks I've observed. And it doesn't quite need to match the PS4. It's selling well, gaining exclusives (timed and not), and it's a whole new console from where it was last year for the better. This is why they still do these articles.

@Jdzspace The XBox 360 was doing the same thing to the PS3 last gen. They had about the same lead. lol!!

@Jdzspace It's almost definitely more than 40%. 40% was the lowest possible amount on the scale. 100% was the highest possible amount. It's likely around 70% to 80%, but I don't doubt that it could be 100%. The last known numbers are 10 million sold through to consumers for Sony and 5 million sold to retailers for Microsoft (though they retracted the statement). I don't think anyone who knows better honestly believes the gap is only 40%. That would be a huge come back for Microsoft, and I really doubt Microsoft would be silent about it. They wouldn't still be getting beat in the NPD either.

@Jdzspace I thought Sony was, in the least, up 2 - 1. That would make it +100% and higher.

@techs3ek Xbox community is huge. You realize there are still over 75 million XBox 360 owners who haven't made a decision yet right? lol!!

X1 has more and better games. And a huge comunity. Dont get your rationale

@RainIsMyDrug I honestly think it's the PR nightmare that M$ is still trying to overcome and Sony was riding hard on that as the "White Knight" that saved video game.
