Halo 3, Fable II join Elite Xbox 360 bundle

Is this coming to Canada because of the Netflix membership it might not I'm thinking cause Netflix isn't in Canada so just wondering.

I myself am an old PS fan, 39yrz, Now i rock my Elite. My boyz, a Pro. I will get a PS3, but right now the only reason i would pay that cash is to rob it of its Blue-Ray capabilities. That's about it. PS really needs to step up and turn its game around. We need this competition or we will suffer. I would love to have the maddening desire to purchase the PS3, But what games? MGS? Come on, 10 great titles do not carry the weight to run and gun for that 400 dollar purchase. MS has done alot wrong in the past, but it has more than surpassed any barrier in its way. So......... the moral of this story is.......... SONY PLAYSTATION................ start making the RIGHT moves for your Eastern Neighbors and you just might see a few PS fanboys begging for a solid reason to Run-N-Gun for the latest PS "Bundle/Package/Promotional- Or whatever you want to name it to get ME to buy the Playstaion Experience." Come on, XBOX fanboy comment enters here - SPOILER - I actually feel like I am part of a community for the purpose of why I turned on my console, TO GAME. XBL is a pay service to really untilise it's full potential. But it is undeniably why i threw down more than a C-Note in my house. I want to game. I want to hit ppl up to game. I want stream-lined streaming video. From XBL, Netflix or even my PCz. I cannot say enough to how much PS needs to get their A** in gear before they even lose a PS diehard - PS1 owned - PS2 owned - GTA 1-2-3, MGS, FF, GT 1-2 - etc etc etc. From a Die-Hard gamer stand point, XBOX is making the right moves to make me feel secure in my purchases with them and their third parties. Call me a XBOX fanboy. Go ahead, come to XBL and back it. Beware you just might feel the Dark Side and stay for a minute. GTA4 is my online playground. Sundays and Mondays are my time. 2) Reviews are not objective, they are subjective. A review reflects the OPINION of the REVIEWER. Whether or not the reviewer is a professional journalist is immaterial. If you don't believe me ask the reviewers from any game site or magazine.

4) There are plenty of PS3 exclusives that I don't think much of. I found Genji: Days of the Blade, Lair, Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom, Motorstorm, and Full Auto 2 to be pretty poor, and let's not even mention the horrid Singstar titles that are exclusive to the PS3 as well.

you guys need to stop ripping each other about your dumb fanboy fights, and focus on the beauty of the article above. What a bundle. Now, finally, I can no longer resist. I will soon become an xbox360 owner. s0ny or M$, it doesn't matter. a real gangster gives props where props are due, and these two (sick) games and this hardware for that price is dead sexy. let's all just appreciate the majesty for a minute.

Are you talking about AAA exclusives like KZ2 that have such mediocre sales that Sony celebrates and has a press release when it hits 1,000,000 worldwide sales? Oh noes not the sales card again!! First of all who cares about sales. But ok KZ2 is still selling pretty strong and will probably end at 3 million, which is really not that bad and more then Fable2. Now there are a lot of great games that dont sell. Including the best 360 exclusives. Mass Effect, L4D, PGR4, Dead Rising and Bioshock all sold less then 2 million. Now talking about flops, all the JRPG's from Square Enix sucked in sales. I mean Star Ocean 4 sold 0,35 million, which is just pathetic really. The only exclusive sellers for the 360 are Halo and Gears :)

@CrimsonFlagg If I think Helo Kity Island Adventures is better then Gears2 and MGS4 is doesnt make it wrong. It's my opnion but not a fact because you cant messure personal taste. Now a fact is Gears2 and MGS4 are good games, that has nothing to do with people liking it or not. Quality on the other hand can be messured by ratings and by being objective. If only Sony was as loyal to its fans as you are to it" Well that is the thing I bought a 360 at launch and loved it. However finishing Gears and Halo3 20 times I lost interest. Off course there are good multiplatform games but I play those games on my pc, where they look a lot better. When MGS4 came out i bought a ps3 as well and love it ever since. It has real exclusives that you can only play on a ps3. The thing I like with the ps3 is that the exclusives are basically guaranteed to be AAA quality. Except for Haze that is :) Now looking at 09 I have nothing to look forward to on my 360. Compare that to the ps3 line-up and people will be dissapointed if they only own a 360. I mean common Uncharted2, GOW3, GT5, Heavy Rain, Infamous all coming this year and probably more to be announced at E3. Now in 4 weeks Infamous will be out. The Elite system is finally worth buying. I work at GameStop, and our store has only sold 2 Elite systems in the last 6 months, that includes christmas. We probably sold 20+ pros and 30+ arcades in the same time period.

@hatieshorrer It has a 65nm cpu and gpu, which run cooler and draw a little less power then current consoles. This is supposed to be the fix for the RROD. The Arcade, Pro, and RE6 elite systems have already switched over, but since this bundle is still using the black elites, my money says they are still the older revision.

@stickiey Japser Elite? So why is the Japser Elite better then the other Elites?

I'm not taking the time to read through all the comments, but I think the reason they are doing this is MS wants to get rid of all the Falcon elite consoles, because they are not going to be making anymore. Read on xbox-scene that the elites will become limited editon's only, which is why there are almost 0 Jasper elites. If this was a Japser console, I might consider buying it, since I have one of the original 360's with no HDMI.

Why does every one always have something negative to say about another console? If you do not own a 360 or sold your 360 and want to get a new one this is an EXCELLENT deal...an Elite with Halo 3 (great online game) and Fable 2...Im not a big RPG gamer but this gives you the best of both worlds a FPS and a RPG....I have a Ps3 (Sold My 360) BUT I am not hating on this bundle...people need to grow up...by the way Im picking this bundle up I miss my 360 and regret selling Halo 3...So Il have the best of both world a Ps3 and a 360

holy crap MS has gone crazy with this bundle!! A 2 year old game and a RPG I finished in my lunchbreak for just $399,-!! Hold the bus I am running to the store right away!!

Too bad Fable 2 sucked hard - the original was a billion times better. It was my biggest buying regret of last year, followed closely by FarCry 2. And you know what? I'd take a guarantee that my box won't break again over any bundling of games or price cut!

It's old news being pushed by MS to make people beleive they are doing ok in Japan. That's a pretty good combo. Two games, headset, and HDMI? Sony should take note (and I only own PS3).

@frazzle00 Well I am not mixing up my opinion with facts. I think Hello Kitty Island adventures is way better then gear2 and MGS4 combined but that doesnt make it true. When comparing Forza with GT there are a lot of FACTS mentioned in reviews. Like framerate problems, reflections on the cars that arent working at the should, no cockpit and a overal design that misses the essence of what make GT so great. Now GT5 Prologue runs in 1080p native at a solid 60fps, has 3d cockpits, reflections and carmodels that look better and the production value/ presentation people expect from a GT game. Now keep in mind it is GT PROLOGUE and not the full GT5, which will have 600 cars and 90 tracks. Sure you can prefer Forza but that doesnt make the game better. And I never said MS doesnt make good games. I said MS doesnt have the big franchises Sony has. They need to make new IP's and so far they are doing a poor job at it. It's not like they are not trying though. Ninja Blade, Halo Wars were both exclusives this year, they just arent very good :) MS isnt outselling the ps3 anymore man only in the US and that is only by a small margin. In Japan the ps3 is outselling the 360 like 4 to 1 even though the ps3 still has a relatively small games library and the 360 has all the JRPG's. What do you think will happen when the ps3 exclusives start poring in this year, especially GT5, GOW3 and FFXIII in Japan? I think i might actually get this one. Seems well worth the price. just put the credit from my red dead premium towards it too. like getting 2 really good games for free plus the long coveted HDMI port and cable. win win win situation i say. And to the clown; quoting other people's opinions are still not facts. :-)
