Why would 10,000 gamers be upset that Devil May Cry came out on the 360 as well as the PS3?

Now on a lighter note, can't wait for RE5 coming out next week (which is also going to be the first in the series to show up on microsoft's console). @cccs LMAO i am stating that im glad all the games are for both consoles now...capcom wise. it will save me power in the long runn. xbxo 360 is good but is horridly loud and a power hogg. i mean i can heat my living on a chilly day with my xbox 360 exhausting heat anf my tv and 5.1 surround. not saying xbox is hot garbage. my ps3 is powerful too but not as loud either. so now i can play RE5 LE for ps3 is a more appealing option. the ps3.

I couldn't care less about console exclusives , I wish all 3rd party games were multi.

@firesage423 DUDE,yes i agree but dont think you understand what im saying. i agree they are smart about it and yes im glad for multiconsole manufacturing of Capcom IPs. Im saying is capcom should raise the stackes of there products costs and make them a full experience for every platform content wise. capcom is alays gonna get a few thumbs down for not thinking of there fans if they dont. make the publisher fish the platform companies(microsoft and sony) into paying or looking bad to the fans period. dont make there products limited to a auction deal. and the GTA sham is BS IMO. even though i though GTA 4 sucked. dude game designer's boss' pretty much all can care less about video gamers, they want $$$$$!! what the point of saying no i dont want ur 25 million dollars? of course there gunna say yes, they would be dumb not too and i dont blame them.. make money or close and not ever see the games the company makes..

well microsofts power hungry style of getting exclusive content is almost disgusting dispite the things you see them pull outside there gaming division. plus there attitude of buyout and drop of publishers is unworldly. the developers need to call the shots and make there games equal to every console if they are going to this route and use that as there reasons.

also, STOP COMPARING WII TOO 360 AND PS3, there aimed at 2 differant crowds, 360 and ps3 r hardcore gamers.. wii is family, with a very few good games for it..

what do u people not get about buisness.. which ever company is paying more money for a game and its exclusive contents gets it, unless its loyal to its fellow company so like gta 4 last and the damn, rockstar got 25m(if i remember) to make 2 chapters for the 360 if sony would of coughed up that kinda money they would have got tit too.. buisness kids, buisness

i just hope that capcom just stops making extra DLC for the xbox only. they need to offer this stuff for all systems. its not like the xbox has extra processing power over the PS3. I mean offering lost planet colonies for the xbox and not the PS3 is dumb. i mean i did feel kinda burned when i bought lost planet for ps3 and just to see if i like it more on ps3 than the xbox version. and about a month later they announced lost planet colonies for the xbox 360 only. i mean come on be fair about the relase of stuff at least. i just want the ps3 versions to be as full as the 360 versions. times are tough and and i prefer to runn my ps3 to save power. the xbox 360 is so dam loud even with a hard drive install of a game. plus i was playing my xbox more recently due to my friends doing the gears 2 thing and my power bill went up...seriously

Toysoldier34 - that's a pretty unsubstantiated comment. How is PS3 first for games and quality? There are hardly any PS3 games available, the only decent ones being a handful from sony owned studios. And quality wise, 99% of multiplatform games are better on the 360. Your comment makes no sense.

@ Toysoldier34 - You're very creative because your opinion isn't based on the available facts. According to gamerankings.com there are 34 exclusives available to the 360 with the score of 75 or better while the PS3 only has 23. And when I say exclusive I mean something you can't buy for another console.

Well I guess we'll just have to settle for Dead Rising 2 for the PS3.

tides have changed. xbox 360 is no longer top dog. they are falling into last all around. Wii is first for sales. PS3 is first for games and quality

You cant compare pc's with a console as they just work differently. You think Sony spend 6 years building a Cell chip if it wasnt important? Thing is Sony made some big promises regarding the Cell processor. Realistic physics, ai, animation etc. I think this was all largerly over exagerated till I played Killzone 2. Sure it may be a standard shooter but the ai, physics, lightning effects and all the stuff moving on screen at once is really somthing I have never seen before. For me Killzone2 is really a taste of what is to come. Now if the Xbox360 cant handle games like that then the multiplatform games will become crap in no time.

thats something that i never understood why they couldn't do. Why if i have a game for the PS3 and someone else has it for the 360, why can't we play against each other online? there has to be a way to make it work. As for Capcom favoring one company over another, i don't see it, but my case is different being that i have both systems, all systems actually. but if you back one system, and you think theres a game coming out for it and all of a sudden it doesn't, or not yet. its frustrating. I have all 3 systems, but i have to be honest i've always been a bigger PS guy. i hated the original xbpx and sold it not long after owning it. the 360 is alot better. but i still find i like more of the games that PS has to offer. Can't wait for God Of War3!!

wolf0. You obviously didn't bother to check out other PS3 exclusives. For one Uncharted is still the best exclusive out there and both Resistance games are great, and when God of War 3 arrives it will be the greatest action adventure game ever.

i am not a fanboy, im a truegamer and want it all not just one aspect of the gaming world. fanboys are hotgarbage waiting to get burned in a garbage can and truegamers are ready to burn the hotgarbage to gett hem outta there way to get to a open ended gaming world where we only have one psyche working on a game not a console...

man i hope capcom lets 360 players and ps3 players play against each other online in lost planet 2. it a multiplatform game i dont see whats wrong with this idea and i dont know why no one has done that yet.

all i know i sold my xbox 360 to buy a ps3 now im selling my ps3 to buy a new xbox the controller sucks the only good games are mgs 4 and killzone 2 and haveing blu ray why did the ps2 have all the bad ass games but the ps3 got 2

@ZedX-14Pilot You want some credit? Well take this on for size, The Xbox360 sales wise is doing well... Well how about this despite it's now infamous RROD, the 360 managed to sell 28 million. (in 2006 they360 started with an 11 million lead.) Now we have PS3, that was under/overpriced, had a 0.01% failar rate started this so-called next gen war, they managed to sell 21 million PS3's I mean fanboy or not don't you think that deserves credit? Now PS3 is 7 million units behind the 360 in a matter of 2 years, all that and They(sony ) made countless mistakes with there console.

I have to agree with deperado11. To be fair it looks like every console is beating the others in their own way. For example, the PS3 has a far more robust system than either of the other two consoles and has generally better games but has been unlucky when it comes to competing to either of the other two; the xbox 360 dominates the other two when it come to HD game sales; but both of the latter lose when it come to the conquering Wii in terms with game sales... even if only a few games achieve a moderate rating. So i guess its only a matter of time before Sony starts kicking out some badass games and becomes the ruling leader once again.

this generation it looks like there won't be a dominant console which is better in many ways. competition always brings out the best in everyone. look at wii right now, they don't have a lot of third party support and thus most games are shovelware from Nintendo because it is dominating its target audience. because there is no alternative u slack off.

lets get to multiplatform battles online, let the systems sell themselves truely and not count on the software...lol capcom make this happen soon

It makes sense to make games multplatform, helps the companies that develops/publishes them to make more money. Besides, Sony has a lot of their own studios (or use to), why aren't they all out making exclusive must haves for the PS3. It's not the responsibility of third parties to make exclusives for another console at the sacrifice of the profit they'd make making it multiplatform.
