It's silly really, a year ago that wouldn't have cost you more than a fiver, tops.

I'm only three Sega Master System games from having the complete U.S. catalog.  The remaining three will be tough:

James "Buster" Douglas Knockout Boxing (Late Release), $125-150 (there are some overpriced ones on eBay right now)

Sonic the Hedgehog (EU version w/ UPC sticker), ~$300 when available (never seen a real one for sale)

Spider-man (EU version w/ UPC sticker), ~$40 when available (one usually appears on eBay every few months; the last one I saw sold high)

Is the UPC sticker the only difference between the US and EU versions of Sonic and Spider-Man?  Seems a bit crazy to pay $300 for a sticker... :shock:

On a side note, does anyone know whether the release of SMT Strange Journeys with the CD is a special edition or do they all come with the CD?  The import sites I've looked at aren't very specific.  Regardless, I'll have to get my act together with the import cos it looks awesome.

My friend used to have that.  It was awesome!  Sadly another example of Konami being slow out of the starting blocks with a unique music game idea (first GuitarFreaks/DrumMania, then BeatMania).  If only they'd got their marketing together, Konami could be ruling the rhythm game roost.

Anyway, I've seen the game around a fair bit, but never with the turntable (which kinda defeats the point, if you ask me).  So I guess a bundle copy is probably pretty rare.  Whatever it's rarity, £5 is a bargain!

Don't know. But I do know that only the PS2 version is the special edition that has the Japanese audio included.

^Nostalgia overload, I have all but the more rare Hellfire expansion already, though not the original big box releases mint/nr. mint and complete like this but I left those at my parents' house anyway. Was $55.99 for the lot and the postage to UK was $48. Bargain imo, gonna play the crap out of them again before DIII comes out.

Also Got S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl (Limited Edition, mint & complete) - £14

and Fallout Collection (original release, not White Label, new & selaed) - £5.95

Fine job on the Diablo stuff.  I should probably dig out my Battlechest one of these days.  I just started playing Sacred Gold and it's got me all nostalgic too!

The Game Zone I go to isn't part of the national chain but a local indie with (I think) three stores in the Manchester area.  I never really liked the 'proper' Game Zone, there's a couple in my area but they always seem overpriced for new stuff and have hardly any decent pre-owned... although the same can be said for Game and Gamestation these days as well :(

Ah ok, on the receipts I'd get from my local GameZone in Shrewsbury/Chester it always said they had 2 other branches in Manchester in Chester, so idk if it's part of the official chain, maybe not because it didn't have the same logo as the one on the GameZone site, the one by me was pretty much 90% pre-owned stuff though and their prices were far better than Game and at least you don't have to listen to deafeningly loud Green Day when you go in to buy something unlike the local Gamestation, so for me it was good. And ditto on the nostalgia, I'm sure I still have my copy of Sacred somewhere, God knows where though :P

This is probably going to be the last few games I buy for the next little while, I really need to save so that I can move out my current place.
