A few more new acquisitions...
XBLA:
Wallace & Gromit: Fright of the Bumblebees - 400msp
eBay:
NES Classics: Xevious (GBA) - used, complete in very good condition, £4.95. I've decided to take up the quest of finding all the NES Classics for my collection. Boxed and complete of course, and preferably on the cheap. Shouldn't take too long... except for Ice Climber.
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey (DS) - new, £34.99. Finally decided to fork out for this one after finding it for a reasonable sum from a UK-based seller and confirming that it did, indeed, come with the soundtrack. Except the soundtrack CD is fubar. I've ordered a replacement from Atlus (good show, fellas) but I have no idea if they will ship one to a int'l address :( Gah! I love SMT soundtracks...
Howdy y'all! Been a bit since I posted my latest few acquisitions...so, uh, here they are: :P
Daytona USA (Saturn, Disc only, Very Clean) $2
SMT: Persona 4 w/Bonus Disc (PS2, New & Factory Sealed) $20
Afro Samurai (360, Brand New w/ Cardboard outer-sleeve) $10
AoE: Mythologies (NDS, Used, Complete) $10 - Finally found myself a copy of this mysteriously elusive game.
Dragon Age: Origins (360, Used, Complete) $35 - Even came with 2 unused Amazon Pre-Order codes!
Giants: Citizen Kabuto (PS2, Used, Complete) $4
And what I believe is my best purchase of late:
Koudelka (PS, Used, Complete, Mint [Could pass off as new!]) $25
I also picked up a brand new strategy guide for RoF, which is a game every RPG enthusiast needs to play! RoF deserves to be mentioned among the 2010 GOTY nominees...it's that good y'all!

I'll be getting Splinter Cell 5 on Tuesday.
Oh, the Japanese disk works but the English one won't, I knew that would work.
Splinter Cell CE in 11 hours.
Picked up three more NES Classics from eBay:
Bomberman (GBA) - used, complete & minty fresh, £4.99
Donkey Kong (GBA) - used, complete in very good condition, £3.30
Excitebike (GBA) - used, complete & minty fresh, £4.99
And something from the Zavvi Fiver sale:
Broken Sword Trilogy (PC) - new, £5
I've only got three of those NES Classics to get (the elusive Ice Climber, the artificially inflated SMB and the surprisingly pricey Dr Mario). That was quick. Somehow I thought it might take me longer to track down complete copies... maybe I should set something wholly unattainable as my next collecting goal. Stadium Events, here I come!
Team Ninja spree! Mostly ebay.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma (PS3, new, not sealed) - £9
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword + bonus sword stylus (DS, new sealed) - £7.99
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Collector's Edition (PS3, new sealed) - £32.50
Dead or Alive (PS1, complete, like new) - £6.80 (got this before but seller lied about condition so I returned it, finally got it again)
Dead or Alive Ultimate (XBOX, double disc, like new) - idr, several quid
Also asked an ebay seller if they'd sell me a couple things they just listed for bidding as buy it nows and they sold me the Tales of Vesperia bonus disc in it's sleeve and Devil May Cry 3 art cards in their sleeve all as new for £5 incl postage, I don't even have Tales of Vesperia yet but it's on my to get asap list :P

Awesome, feels great finally getting everything in a collection/series/franchise! You may be in luck with Stadium Events, apparently that copy that went for over $800,000 has been relisted because the price was been jacked up by two bidders who were timewasters. Think I'll pass on bidding for it though, seeing as I'd have to pawn my spare kidney to pay for it... and I don't want to think of either of my kidneys as 'spare' :)
Picked up the strat guide to Resonance of Fate

Can't wait to hear what you think about RoF! Like I told ya the other day...I'm addicted!
And when you do open RoF...be sure to watch that opening scene! Crazy Awesome! Also, after that first scene and it goes to the "Press Start" scene...wait 60 secs. and there is a second opening scene giving a bit more background on the upcoming story. GL and Have Fun!
StarCraft Battle Chest (PC/Mac, new & sealed) - eBay, $20 + $13 P&P to the UK
Haven't played it in... years. Thought I'd pick it up again before the sequel comes out (ie, before 2020). I'm gonna get good, go to competitions, bet on my opponent and intentionally lose, just like the real StarCraft pros do.

One more online purchase has arrived...
eBay:
NES Classics: Pac-Man (GBA) - used, complete in very good condition, £2.99
And I hit the shops in town too...
Gamestation:
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (DS) - used, complete in very good condition, £14.99. Thought I'd better pick this up before it disappears completely.
CeX:
Metroid Prime (GC) - used, complete in good condition, £4. Would you believe I've only just got my own copy of this? Had the second one for ages now and have played this first one before, but never had a copy to call my own.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (GC) - used, complete and mint, £18. A bit pricey but this one is shooting up in price too quickly for my tastes so I've got hold of it while I can.
Viewtiful Joe (GC) - used, complete in good condition, £4.
CeX also had a complete copy of Twilight Princess for Gamecube for £32, a little bit cheaper than what it goes for online, which I asked them to keep aside for me. Is it worth getting since I already own the Wii version? It's getting pretty collectable now, but I don't really like spending a lot on something I already own... what do you think, guys? Is Twilight Princess for GC going to be a real collector's item soon or is it a load of fuss over nothing?

You need to get that Twilight Princess, they only made a limited amount and is a very rare game, also the whole game is mirrrord so thats cool. Plus you'll be-able to use a controller instead of a Wii-Mote & Nunchuck, so yea I think it is deffo worth the price. If you have the kind of money to spend on it that is

I'd definitely get it at that price, the £50-65 price has been consistent for quite a while, considering the majority of people willing to pay so much for it are going to be those that'll hang onto it I don't see the price going down anytime soon, still if you have the Wii version it comes down to how much you want it in the collection I guess.
EDIT: Just pre-ordered the UK edition of Demon's Souls: Black Phantom Edition for PS3. As a heads up to PAL pals it was only just announced yesterday afaik and just put up on Amazon

Purchased:
I have 10 of the 18 Laseractive games released in the States. That may not sound too impressive, but they are not easy to find and I've been working for a couple of years to get the 55% that I have.
I just discovered something quite amazing and suprising. Not too long ago I was doing my thrift shopping and I came across a NES cartridge that was nowhere near the electronics section and if it wasn't for my son saying 'Link daddy, Link' I wouldn't have spotted it. It was a single copy of The Legend of Zelda, except that instead of being the regular gold colour, it was a bright banana yellow. I thought nothing of it at the time though I did recongnize that it was different in colour than my home copy. It was $2 dollars which is a good price anyways.
So the point is,(ROFL) I googled 'yellow zelda cartridge' and discovered that is is a type of promo copy and is quite rare. My jaw dropped to the floor and I couldn't believe my luck. The yellow NES cartridges where used by the NES testing station. Different cartridges were included as testing devices, including titles like Duck Hunt, Metroid, and The Legend of Zelda (among others). Other testing cartridges were released that would test the functionality of the Nintendo Console, like controllers, power source, etc...
The value of this cartridge varies anywhere from $175 - $600+ dollars. I am obviously pleased with this find and wanted to share it with you all for two reasons. One, that you could have the knowledge that these testing cartridges are out there and will know they have value, and secondly because I'm so stoked and just had to tell someone who would care at all!
I might do a little blurb on this NES testing system in the future if there is any interest in such a topic. Cheers.

Congrats...sounds like a goal in which every addition is cause for doing a little jig! :P Good luck to you on your ongoing search for the rest!
Today at Vintage Stock I bought:
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth (XBOX, Used, Complete, VG) $15
Myst (Saturn, Used, Complete, VG) $6
Tetris Plus (Saturn, Used, Complete, VG) $4
Also, I found the 'Memory Card PLUS' published by Interact for the Sega Saturn. It adds 8mb of extra storage. It is the cartridge only, but was only $25!
And finally, my dear mother (who was with me at Vintage Stock because we'd just been out to dinner) knew I had been wanting one of those keypads that attaches to your 360 controller...she actually sought out and found a used one at the store there for $20 and bought it for me. How sweet is she?
