I've got a list I want to add, but I need to know how to actually add PS1 Classics on Gamespot, would I just add it as a Playstation game? (Once I know I'll edit this post).dzms
Yeah that's the only way to do it mate, they don't list them seperately for the Classics downloads, just have to add them as they're listed for PS1.

Good stuff, peeps! :D
I've picked up a few over the last week, starting with a few from eBay:
Ikari Warriors (NES) - complete in good condition, £3.73
Spiritual Warfare (NES) - cart only in good condition, £1.50
That's my first Wisdom Tree game, they don't appear very often here and it's not something I'd go out of my way to track down. The whole concept creeps me out a little bit. But this was a bargain I couldn't pass up.
HES Total Funpak (NES) - complete in good condition, £9.28
A little pricey, but to be fair most of that was the postage. My first HES game! Like Wisdom Tree and most other unlicensed NES games that aren't made by Codemasters, HES stuff doesn't show up too often here. This one has four games on one cart: Pac Man, Duck Maze, Othello and Sidewinder. Love the oversized case. Like I don't have enough of a space problem already.
Secret of Evermore (SNES) - complete in good condition, £11.99
Resident Evil (PC) (big box version) - complete in very good condition (was almost mint, but there's a tiny bit of damage on a corner thanks to postie shoving it through the letterbox, idiot), £8.27
NES Classics: Dr. Mario (GBA) - complete in very good condition, £5.95
I also got a game from Cash Generator today:
Capcom vs. SNK 2 (PS2) - used, complete in fair condition, £1.99
Secret of Evermore (SNES) - complete in good condition, £11.99
NES Classics: Dr. Mario (GBA) - complete in very good condition, £5.95

Sweet, Secret of Evermore.
Just out of curiosity, how's the NES Classics for GBA collecting going? How many do you have so far and what have you got left?
[QUOTE="gmsnpr"]Arcus is a good one. I have Double Switch on Sega CD, but not Saturn.
[QUOTE="mijahi"]
A couple things I've picked up over the past couple days:
Arcus Odyssey (GEN, Cart only, a bit of sticker residue on label, but very good otherwise) $8
Ms. Pac Man (GEN, Used, Complete, Excellent Condition!!) $3 ...Love those flea markets! :D
Ultima: Warriors of Destiny (NES, Cart only, Excellent Condition) $18 ...I've been wanting this for a long time!
Sol Divide (PS1, Used, Complete, Looks like it has been opened once and not played!) $6
Skeleton Warriors (SAT, Used, Complete, VG) $8 ...Never heard of, but anything with skeletons has to be a little cool! :P
Double Switch (SAT, Used, Complete, Case has damage, but contents-including both discs-are in great shape) $10 ...Again, another Sat game I'd never heard of...but it stars Corey Haim!!! lol :D I couldn't pass it up.
mijahi
Have you played Double Switch? GS says it's an 'interactive movie'...sounds interesting..what's it like?
Now that Corey Haim has passed, it's a cultural artifact. It's an FMV game where you switch between video streams and press buttons at the right time, akin to Night Trap, only you're solving a mystery in a hotel instead of protecting girls at a slumber party. I haven't played more than 10 minutes of it.[QUOTE="totalgridlock"]Secret of Evermore (SNES) - complete in good condition, £11.99

11 down, 1 to go!
The only one I need is Ice Climber, which is just damningly elusive compared to the others. It's made doubly difficult because I'm after the EU release to go with all the others I have. One US game would just look wrong next to all those. The last complete Ice Climber I saw on eBay sold for over £20, and there's no way I'm paying that. I'm keeping my eye on another one though, I'll probably stick a bid on for about a tenner and see what happens. It's not the sort of thing that just pops up in the wild anymore, unfortunately.
I've never played Secret of Evermore, it looks pretty awesome though and at that price for a complete SNES RPG I couldn't resist. Now, what I really want is Secret of Mana... or maybe Terranigma...

lol, you and me both!! :P Though I've at least seen Secret of Mana in the wild, I just didn't want to drop the $$$ at the time...I've still never seen a copy of Terranigma with my own eyes. But like you, I'd really like to add both to my collection! Good luck to you..both these games and Ice Climber!
[QUOTE="totalgridlock"]Now, what I really want is Secret of Mana... or maybe Terranigma...mijahi
I've still never seen a copy of Terranigma with my own eyes.
It wasn't released in North America, so you are even less likely to see one in the wild than some of the other sought-after games that actually did come out stateside. I've never laid eyes on a copy, either.Yesterday was a great shopping day for me. I hit a pair of vintage game stores in the Austin area (Game Over Videogames) and found:

So there is this little computer repair/slash/used game store in a small town about thirty minutes from my house. I see a doctor in that little town and have started to peek in the store everytime I have to go see the doc. Most of the stuff they have is junk, but today I was pleasantly surprised.

Wow, that is a lot of games.. congrats!
I got:
3D Dot Game Heroes (PS3) New $34
Firstly, a couple more eBay purchases have arrived:
Adventures in the Magic Kingdom (NES) - complete in very good condition, £2.20
Bubble Bobble 2: Rainbow Islands (NES) - complete in very good condition, £8
And on the way home from work I decided to hit all the charity shops on the way. While it's not the biggest charity shop jackpot I've ever scored, I did come away with enough stuff to make my arms ache. Bargains all.
Civilization II (PC) - complete in very good condition, 99p
Conquest of the New World (PC) - complete and near mint, 49p
Corsairs (PC) - complete and near mint, 49p
Dune 2000 (PC) - complete and near mint, 49p
KISS: Psycho Circus (PC) - complete in very good condition, 99p
Stronghold (PC) (floppy version) - complete in very good condition, 49p
UFO: Enemy Unknown (PC) (budget release) - complete and near mint, 49p
These are all the old big box releases, which is awesome if bloody inconvenient. I can only imagine what I looked like walking home with that lot stacked in my arms.
I also picked up some other games from a different shop to add to the load:
Elite Plus (PC) - case and disc only but near mint, 50p
Hero Quest (PC) - case and disc only but near mint, 50p
Destruction Derby (PS1) - complete in good condition, £1
Gran Turismo 2 (PS1) (Platinum release) - complete and near mint, £1
Rally Championship (PS1) - complete in very good condition, £1
Rayman 2: The Great Escape (PS1) (Platinum release) - complete and near mint, £1
Star Wars: Rebel Assault II (PS1) - complete in good condition, £1
Wipeout 2097 (PS1) - complete in very good condition, £1
I also had to pass on a couple more PS1 games as some creep had stolen the discs out of them. Just how pathetic does a person have to be to steal from a charity shop? Good job they hadn't stolen anything awesome or I would have screamed.
Wow Cass! Great haul!! Nicely done. :D
And stealing from a charity store?..ugh..that has got to be one of the lowest things for a human being to do..especially since prices at those places are usually dirt cheap. One can only hope karma or guilt will deal with those types of people.
These are absurdly cheap. The prices even beat my record of $5 apiece for those.Did my usual rounds and I can't believe some of the stuff I found! :o

It was definitely one of those times that I felt very lucky. My * notes say it all.
I snagged a trio of 360 games tonight at a pawn shop for $8 apiece:
50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, v. fine, complete, R0
Saints Row 2 Collector's Edition, n. mint, missing the money clip and USB stick, R0
Wanted: Weapons of Fate, n. mint, complete, R0
and realized that I hadn't entered some XBL content:
Borderlands: Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot
Fable II: Knothole Island
Fable II: See the Future
Mass Effect 2: Equalizer Pack
Picked up a few items:

I bought a bunch of junk that I'll get into later when I have more time. I mostly wanted to jump online and see if anyone with a DSi has picked up Photo Dojo. It's FREE to download for another 3 weeks or so.
Photo Dojo (DSi) - FREE Download from DSiWare Shop.
Portal (PC) - FREE Download from Steam to celebrate them now being on Mac.

Firstly, a few more eBay pickups for my NES collection, all from the same seller this time:
Burai Fighter (NES) - complete, very good condition, £2
The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino and Hoppy (NES) - complete, very good condition, £2
Turbo Racing (NES) - complete, good condition, £2
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out (NES) - complete, box is in poor condition but cart and book are good, £6
It's actually getting quite hard to find Tyson's Punch-Out in a complete state here. While this example isn't in the best condition, the cart alone usually sells for about that price so as far as I'm concerned I bagged myself a bargain.
I also got another game for my Resi collection:
Resident Evil 4 (GC) - complete, near mint, £5.50
These all arrived yesterday and today I hit one of the local carboots (at my old school, actually) and got a couple more games and not one, but two awesome pieces of kit. First off, the games.
Age of Empires Gold (PC) (budget release) - complete, near mint, 50p
Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds Saga (PC) - complete, very good condition, £1
Tekken 5 (PS2) - complete, very good condition, £1
This next item was actually the first thing I bought, on the very first stall and might not look like much but it's a great piece of retro British electronics...
These are quite hard to come by in a complete state. All Sinclair items are pretty collectable these days, not just their computers, but items like this pocket TV and their early calculators etc. It really is a nice piece of kit, boxed with the inserts and manuals and even an Argos picking ticket from 1984... shame it's nearly useless in the UK now thanks to the switchover to digital TV. Oh well, it's a neat collectable and it was only a fiver.
And finally, just a couple of weeks after I picked up that neat Binatone TV game, I chance upon another, similar item.
What we've got here is a Prinztronic Tournament Ten Colour TV Game, a multi-game Pong-like from around 1977. The box is tatty as anything but it's got all its gubbins including the manual, RF lead and poly inserts. There's no power adaptor included (apparently it's an optional extra) but I've briefly tested it with six (!) D batteries and it works great. There's some slight yellowing of the grey plastic, but nothing major. All in all, very nice and a bargain for six quid.

Picked up the following recently.
GoodWill
Baten Kaitos Origins (GC) - $5 - used, complete
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC) - $5 - used, complete
Punch-Out!! (WII) - $8 - used, complete
GameStop
Rune Factory Frontier (WII) - $15 - new
Toys R Us
Samba de Amigo (WII) - $5 - new
Hit a yard sale on Sunday...
1. Gears of War (PC) NM complete $10 *so pumped to play this game!
2. Hey You, Pikachu (N64) NM cart only $10
3. Rampage - Total Destruction (GC) NM complete $10
Just downloaded Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures on the Wii VC.
Tuesday I should be getting Alan Wake LE (360), Red Dead Redemption (360), and Trauma Team.
And I'm finally able to add all the games to my collection, unlike almost all of my last few buys (SMT, Infinite Space, Operation Dakrness, Game Heroes, etc), with them scoring either nothing (Indiana Jones) or an 8+ (assuming Red Dead gets an 8 or more). Damn Good Taste emblem

It was $50 at launch, but I missed getting a copy at the time. All new copies have long since dried up around me. It seems to be going for $60 plus shipping minimum from the eBay stores that I've been watching off and on for a while, so this seemed like a reasonably good deal.I'd like to pay as little as possible for sealed Atlus RPGs (as all of us would), but the realistic pricepoint for most of them is fairly high.
