GAMECAMILLER
Ah, another great game castrated for PAL release. They took out the character movies and you can't shoot the airliner down any more either :(

Holy buckets, I have so been looking for that....
Nothing super exciting, but a rare mid-day on a weekday pick-up.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (X360) Bundle w/ Wireless Guitar NEW $69.99 - $10.00 Off Coupon = $59.99
Just what I needed, another guitar. With all the mic's guitars and the drums I think I have more gear then some recording studios.
Picked up a few games yesterday:
Trauma Center: Second Opinion (WII) - complete, $25 used
Resident Evil Zero (GC) - complete, $12 used
Killer7 (PS2) - complete, $5 used
Ninja Gaiden Black (XBOX) - complete, $25 used

I second that. Also, I picked up the following last night:
and more importantly:
The really sad thing is that I've spent more time with the Tom & Jerry GB game that I pulled from the garbage than I have with games like Gears of War that sit on my shelves unplayed. Here are some more pick ups.I paid $30 total for the SNES games. The others were more trash pickings.
Garbage Treasures

I think it is pretty funny that many here have already picked up SCIV, but the one person you'd think would get it (me) isn't going to. Figure that one out.usagi704I'd like to know why xD Why don't you want to get SC4?
[QUOTE="usagi704"]I think it is pretty funny that many here have already picked up SCIV, but the one person you'd think would get it (me) isn't going to. Figure that one out.GAMECAMILLERI'd like to know why xD Why don't you want to get SC4? First off, I loved Soul Blade on PS1 and since I didn't have a Dreamcast, I was so damn hyped for SCII and loved that, but not quite as much as SB. Ever since SCII I haven't been able to care and I think it is something about the way it plays nowadays. I'm not sure as to exactly what that is though. I am going to get SCIV anyway at some point, but not until I can get it for a lot less than $60. The reasons for my feelings about the series is certainly a mystery to me. You can bet I'll be there day 1 for SFIV and Tekken 6 though.
Hit a few more Gamestops and took further advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free.
I think my brain is shutting down. This rarity rating lark is confusing me: every time I see R2 I think 'Europe', R4 I think 'Australia'... and then I spend thirty seconds wondering when GameBoy games gained DVD regions...
But don't mind me... carry on :P
Only one game this time....
- Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution
Dzjaansis
Well, if it had to be only one, it's an excellent pick. Awesome game.
Devil May Cry 4 (PS3) USED EBGames 24.99
Not so much note worthy as a game I was interested in playing w/ the PS3 install to see if it makes a difference
I'm away from home for the weekend and the buying has begun.
from eBay:
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GC) (limited edition gold box with bonus disc) - complete, near mint, £10.99
ZooCube (GC) - complete, mint, £1.99
Road Rash (PS1) - complete, good condition, 1p (£1 with postage)
from carboot, a nice selection of mostly crap games:
18 Wheeler (GC) - complete, good condition, 50p (holy hell this is bad)
Gauntlet Legends (PS1) - complete, good condition, 50p (ugh)
Resident Evil: Survivor (PS1) - complete, mint, £2.50
Grand Theft Auto Advance (GBA) - complete, acceptable, £1
The Hobbit (GBA) - complete, fair condition, £1
SimCity 2000 (GBA) - complete, fair condition, £1
Long time no post hua? Well, I did get a few games that I'd like to share...
From Gamestop:
NCAA Football 2009 (360) New
Soulcalibur IV Collector's Edition (360) New
Onimusha 3 (PC) New, Free
TMNT (PC) New, Free
From Blockbuster:
LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth II (360) Complete, $14.99
Far Cry Instincts: Predator (360) Missing guidebook, Free
Onimusha and TMNT were pennied out, so I got those for free. Far Cry was free due to a buy one get one free deal for all games $14.99 or less. I figured why not nab a few older 360 games that I wanted back anyways...
I reined myself in a bit, but I still found several things on my want list and some other items that caught my eye:
* Two stores that I visited today are called Game Xchange and Game Exchange, confusing, no?
I think that with MTG and Crusaders that I've got all the PS1 RPGs and pseudo-RPGs with the exception of Digimon World 3. I'm also very pleased to have knocked 4 Atlus games (counting my recent purchase of Drone Tactics) off of my want list.
couldn't sleep so downloaded a few games

Here's where the explaining begins. This was from an ebay store where the guy gave you 10% off if you bought ten or more using "Buy it Now", so my buddy and I didn't even think twice about buying 15 games from him. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the shipping prices...so my $34.95 in games (minus a $3.50 discount) added up to $43.75 in shipping costs, or a total of $75.20. Once again, I am an idiot.
Incidentally, P.O.W., The Goonies II, one of the Fester's Quests and one of the Monster Partys are going to my buddy Steve.

The seller wouldn't combine shipping on all those?

Nope...which is why I paid him, took my medicine, and will never buy from him again.
I went to Best Buy today for the heck of it and found a couple of things....

Burnout Paradise (X360), $24, Used, Awesome shape, R0
Xbox Live Arcade Compilation Disc (there's no spot on this on Gamespot (since this is a known item I guess they don't want to add it, so I guess I'll have to add all 5 games individually to my collection?) It includes Pac-Man Championship Edition, Uno, and Boom Boom Rocket (which I already own) Feeding Frenzy and Luxor 2 (which I do not own), Xbox 360, $10 used, great shape. (not in digital rarity guide)
Madden NFL 07 (X360): Hall Of Fame Edition, $5, decent shape Includes cardboard cover), R1
Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (X360) Collector's Edition, $16, Like new shape! :O, R0

1. I want that.
2. With game compilations like that is it fair to just list the items separately? Normally I'd say no since things of that nature tend to be collections of games that were originally on other consoles, but items like this are different. This and the other XBLA package compile games that are only available for download on the same console. When I add them all as a single entry it almost feels like my collection number is being punished for wanted a hard copy rather than just accepting the downloads. Maybe I'm just OCD.

I snagged a few cheapies from pawn shops tonight:
I knwo what you mean. Th arcade unplugged vol 1 I lisetd as is, because that's listed in the gamespot database as a game. This one seems to be the odd one out for gamespot. maybe because it's something only given with 360 units.Xbox Live Arcade Compilation Disc (there's no spot on this on Gamespot (since this is a known item I guess they don't want to add it, so I guess I'll have to add all 5 games individually to my collection?)
