No worries, so long as Brazil's done on the final week, there's no complaints from me :)
To Do List:
- Britain
- Canada
- USA
- France
When's that may I ask?
Â
Anyhow, Britain is done!
Grid - You know.
Turn 1 is clean, Schumi takes the initiative and overtakes Barrichello down the Hangar straight. At Turn 8 Trulli has a sideways moment and bins it retiring.
Top 8 after lap 1 - Kimi, Fisi, Schumi, Barri, Ide, Klien, Monty, Rosberg.
Lap 4-5 Kimi pulling away slowly - M Schu however is the man on the move running 1.19.9's Ide's engine fails on hangar straight!
Lap 6 Klien keeping Montoya behind - keen to hold 5th. Alonso has fought up to 15th.
Lap 8 Fisi fights back, setting fastest lap at a 1.19.700 - Massa is up to 10th
Lap 12 - Pit stop action - M Schu first of the front runners to stop.
Lap 15 Raikkonen shunted by Fisi in a fight for 1st! Raikkonen looses his left rear tyre and retires :(
Lap 19 - Button fighting with Rosberg for 6th
Lap 23 Fisi leads Barrichello, Schumi a couple of seconds behind, almost 10 seconds back Montoya runs in 4th Klien further back in 5th, Rosberg, Button and Massa fighting over the final three points paying positions.
Lap 28 - Massa runs wide while fighting with Button, Alonso steals 8th! Sato retires with Hydraulic failure.
Lap 30 - Race Over.
Final Standings:
Dirty tactics ftw :D lol
The last week is the week leading up to the Australian GP weekend. One race a week has fitted in perfectly so that the final race is done on the week of the Australian GP, you see.
I'll update the tables later, but for now, I must sleep!
Round number 3,895,091
Starting grid: - Usual
Clear skies in Canada for race day! Ide makes a good start keeping Raikkonen at bay through the first turn, everyone gets through cleanly. Kimi is all over Ide but can't make a move just yet and Trulli is already running away. Down the back straight Kimi makes his move leaving Ide for dead.
Lap 3 and Fisi runs wide into the barriers at the first chicane, he carries on but there is some pretty bad damage to both front tyres. Schumi is hustling Montoya
Lap 4 and Schumi does a Fisi running into the exact same wall, luckily for him no damage is done. There is a hugely tight midfield scrap with everyone held up behind the usual backmarkers and with some front runners trying to climb through the field it was always going to be a real battle. Out of the final chicane Alonso and Webber make their moves on R Schumacher.
Lap 5 and Alonso is beaten down the straight by Webber! Both are hassling Villeneuve in the Sauber.
Lap 8 Trulli 2.5seconds of Kimi. then a massive gap to the Super Aguris.
Top 8 - Trulli, Raikkonen, Ide, Sato, Monteiro, Speed, Coulthard, Liuzzi
Lap 10 Kimi beginning to fight back - Alonso hussles past Webber.
A lap later Webber and Button are scrapping for 12th and 13th Massa scoots past Villenueve for 11th. Kimi passes Trulli for the lead.
Lap 12 Massa and Alonso are coming to blows - Villenuve is hustling Massa and Alonso is behind them both, they tangle lightly into the final chicane - Villeneuve and Alonso make contact.
19 laps remaining I'm predicting a Kimi, Trulli, Massa/Alonso podium...
Alonso passes Massa and Button is right on the tail of the battling pair.
Lap 21 Ralfy boy and Montoya tangle, Montoya slides into the barriers and his rear wing is gone, he won't be going any further but Ralfy runs away completely clean! Alonso is fighting through the "lead" pack made of the Super Aguri's Monteiro and the Red Bull/STR entries.Â
Lap 24 and Kimi is lapping the Super Aguri's ... which he started next to.... and spent almost a lap behind in the beginning...
two laps later Webber and Villeneuve AND Fisi go three abreast into the final turn Webber wins - next lap and Webber spins off wasting his good run, he looses 4 places.
5 Laps left Villeneuve is crabbing all over the place, losing speed on the straights his rear wheels are busted. Final two laps and the two Red Bulls are being hustled home by Schumi and Alonso respectively. In the end both Red Bulls hold on. Two Toyota engines let go leaving Monterio and Ralf out of the race.

Round 20,000
America.
Starting grid: ...
The race:
Clear skies, good run down to turn one, Sato already dropping down the field with the lack of power the Super Aguri offers. Montoya running away with the lead. Ide and Monteiro pass R Schu at the beginning.
Lap 2 and M Schumi is all over his team mates tail - Massa passes two cars in the second sector - Alonso moseys past Sato and Speed. Albers falling back.
Lap 6 - Monteiro is still holding 2nd - 6-7seconds up the road is Montoya.
Lap 7 Heidfeld on the move passes Sato and Albers on consecutive laps. Monteiro falling behind, after a valiant effort he begins to drop places, firstly to R Schumacher then Fisichella and Villeneuve.Â
Lap 9 four abreast Webber, Rosberg, Barrichello and Alonso attack Monteiro into the first turn.
Lap 16 - Pit action. Fisi catching R Schumacher for 2nd.
19 - Raikkonen takes Monteiro into T1 from a mile away! Monteiro fights back through 1st sector and gets back in front - Kimi gets him on the pit straight.
Lap 20 - Albers spins out of last- Almost collects Trulli while getting back on track. 2 Laps later almost makes the same mistake while being lapped by Montoya.
Lap 25 Alonso passes Webber for 3rd. Both Honda's fighting each other but have both passed R Schumacher for 5th.
Lap 26 Massa takes Rosberg for 8th
No more action :(
Race ends.

Round X
France.
Race starts in rain - Light rain, but rain nonetheless.Â
Turn one is clean, Ide keeps his lead going up to the Adeleide hairpin. Alonso clips Raikkonen at the hairpin. Kimi has rear wing damage but Alonso manages to escape without injury.
Lap 2 and Ide leads quite comfortably, still alot of fighting at the Adeleide hairpin. Klien gets sideways out of the final chicane, luckily he catches it but Heidfeld and Alonso right on his tail.Â
Lap 4 Button puts a move on Massa for 15th. Alonso passed by both Raikkonen AND Webber. Next lap and Button and Alonso pass Raikkonen back at Adeleide.Â
Lap 10 and Schumi is the first of the front runners to challenge the leading pack. Past Liuzzi and challenging Monteiro for 6th,
Lap 12 Schumi is passed Speed and Sato - Ide in the pits and Albers leads.
Lap 15 - Monteiro is out! Engine failure on the start finish straight! Albers pits from P1. Schumi takes the lead.
Lap 17 - clever pit work has Schumi getting passed Webber and R Schumacher... huh? why's he down that far? I've no idea!
Lap 20 - Sato leads from Trulli, Button, Rosberg, Massa, Liuzzi, Coulthard and Alonso. Camera has gone la la.
Lap 25, Sato retires with engine failure!
10 laps of snoring ensues.Â
Race over.
