Yep, just do the reverse grid of the French GP results. Half distance, and variable weather.

If no one continues these final races within the next week, I shall have to declare this game null and void.Redders1989

Noo but Team Garfield are doing moderate in this!

Declare the rest of the season void if you must but let us use the points we have already or do an FIA and award half points :P

if you guys still need someone to finish this i've got F1:CE on the ps3 which was based on the 2006 season and at the moment i haven't had time to play on it much and have just used it to listen to music while running folding at home so i i could easily run this instead if someone tells me what i need to put in.

That would probably be more than acceptable.

Just need to use the reverse grid from the previous race 50% race distance on variable weather. That's all the magic you need. Well, maybe a pen and paper to record whats going down in the race.

If you're willing to take it up Racky, then you have my consent. Follow KA's advice on how to run the races in the post above.

Considering what it's like in England right now, I think this should now be called the "Mildly Warm Winter Simulated Season"

Effectively, the sooner we can get this finished, the better as it means one less sticky on the board. By all means do it when you've got the time to, but I'm just stating the sooner the better.

Germany is done ill post the write up tomorrow. apologies if your driver mysteriously retires but this is my first attempt at it and it took me nearly 2 hours and trying to keep track of 22 cars is difficult especially when they overtake alot more than they ever did in the real 2006 season.

German Grand Prix

Grid

  1. Fisichella
  2. Monterio
  3. Sato
  4. Liuzzi
  5. Webber
  6. R.Schumacher
  7. M.Schumacher
  8. Barrichello
  9. Klien
  10. Villenuve
  11. Speed
  12. Ide
  13. Raikkonen
  14. Montoya
  15. Alonso
  16. Albers
  17. Heifeld
  18. Coulthard
  19. Massa
  20. Rosberg
  21. Button
  22. Trulli

Condition- Dry

Lap 1- For once everyone gets through turn 1 at Hockenhiem ok, shame the same can't be said for turn 2 as Coulthard collides with Heifeld and loses a wheel.

Order after lap 1 - Fisichella is storming away at the front followed by Monterio, Liuzzi, Sato, Webber, Barrichello, M.Schu, and Klien.

Lap 2- Massa's on a charge and is now up to 15th

Lap 3 - Button rear ends the charging Massa at the hairpin and loses his front right well on the back of the Ferrari, so in 3 laps 2 Brits retire

Lap 4 - Another collision at the Hairpin involving a Ferrari only this time it's Schumacher colliding with Webber although this time both carry on

Lap 5 - The order in now Fisichella, Liuzzi, Monterio, Sato, M.Schu, Webber, Barrichello and Raikkonen

Lap 7- M.Schu is gaining on Monterio after dispatching Sato at the hairpin

Lap 9 - Montoya is up to p10 after passing Klien, who then brings an end to Massa charge to the front after Massa accelerates into the back of Klien and takes of his front wheel. Then Trulli runs into the back of Ide dislodging his front wing whilst Ide pits at the end of the lap

Lap 10- M.Schu passes Liuzzi for 2nd but has a lot of work on his hands if he wants to catch Fisichella

Lap 12- The top 8 now looks like this- Fisichella, M.Schu, Liuzzi, Monterio, Raikkonen, Sato, Villenuve and Barrichello. Webber then retires from 9th with an engine failure meaning Montoya moves up a place

Lap 13- Raikkonen passes Monterio For 4th

Lap 14 - While 1 McLaren is on the way up the other is on the way down as Montoya runs wide exiting the last corner and Klien moves up a position

Lap 15- Sato pits up being hit up the backside by Rosberg in the battle for 10th

Lap 17 - At the halfway mark it's Fisichella from M.Schu then Raikkonen, Barrichello, Villenuve, Liuzzi, Klien, Rosberg, Alonso, Speed, Heifeld, Monterio, Albers, R.Schu, Trulli, Montoya, Sato, Ide

Lap 18 - Villeneuve's engine decides half a race is enough and his chance of points goes up in smoke

Lap 19 - Rosberg passes Klien in what Brundle hails as and excellent overtaking move, Klien doesn't seem to agree and looses a front wheel trying to take back the place at the next corner

Lap 20 - Liuzzi pits and Raikkonen is up to 3rd and Barrichello is now 4th

Lap 21- Barrichello pits and is now 8th

Lap 22 - Alonso pits from 4th

Lap 23 - M.Schu is in the pits after reducing the gap to Fisichella to 2 seconds, shame Fisi has already pitted

Lap 25 - Running order- Fisichella, M.Schu, Raikkonen, Liuzzi, Heifeld, Barrichello, Trulli, R.Schu, Alonso, Montoya, Rosberg, Speed, Sato, Albers and Ide

Lap 29 - Heifeld passes Liuzzi on the inside as they break for the hairpin

Lap 30 - Ide grinds to a with a blown engine

Lap 31 - Barrichello stars to slip back after losing a place to Trulli

Lap 32 - Barrichello seems to have heard me and place back off of Trulli near the end of the lap

Lap 34 - Fisichella wins with a ****c light to flag victory and will be joined on the podium by M.Schumacher and Raikkonen

Sorry my salad days are long gone, they were slowly eaten away at the ballet.

When you say finish now, do you mean the simulated season or the 80's/90's cheese?

Hungarian Grand prix

Grid

  1. Coulthard
  2. Button
  3. Massa
  4. Webber
  5. Villenuve
  6. Klien
  7. Rosberg
  8. Monterio
  9. Ide
  10. Albers
  11. Sato
  12. Speed
  13. R.Schumacher
  14. Montoya
  15. Alonso
  16. Trulli
  17. Barrichello
  18. Liuzzi
  19. Heifeld
  20. Raikkonen
  21. M.Schumacher
  22. Fisichella

Weather - dry

Lap 1 - Were off, everyone gets through the tight first corner hear at the Hungaroring. Fisichella is off to a great start and is up to 16th, the same can't be said for his fellow Italian Trulli who drops to the back of the field

Start of lap 2 - Top 8 - Coulthard, Button, Massa, Webber, Monterio, Villenuve, Klien and Rosberg. At the end of the lap Ide passes Rosberg for 8th.

Lap 3 - Probably best that any Renault fans reading this look away as coming on to the start/finish straight Rosberg's engine fails and both the Renaults as well as the Mclaren of Montoya and Trulli's Toyota get pinned on the back of Rosberg's car. Bar Rosberg they all continue but they have a lot of work to do to get anything out of this race.

Lap 6 - M.Schumacher passes Liuzzi under braking into the first corner; Liuzzi also loses a place to Alonso as well. Monterio retires from 5th with an engine failure.

Start of lap 7- Running order - Coulthard, Button, Massa, Webber, Villenuve, Klien, R.Schumacher and Ide.

Alonso passes M.Schumacher and Fisichella passes Liuzzi down into turn 1.

Lap 8 - Alonso slips past Barrichello for 14th then passes Button on the run down to the first corner which is proving to be a very popular choice today.

Lap 9 - M.Schumacher passes Barrichello for 15th. Montoya then gets past Liuzzi in turn 2 then proceeds to collide with Barrichello in the penultimate turn and takes off his front wheel, thus ending his race.

Lap 10 - Fisichella passes 3 cars at once as all hell breaks loose in turn 1, which moves him up to 13th before passing Heifeld coming out of turn 2.

Lap 12 - The top 3 have pulled out a considerable lead over the rest of the field and seem to be in a race of their own.

Lap 13 - Sato, Heifeld and Fisichella are 3 abreast going into turn 1 with Hefield coming out the victor and Sato losing out to both of them

Lap 14 - Fisichella gets a good run on Albers and is now up into a points paying position

Lap 15 - Coulthard pits from the lead along with Webber and Villenuve. Coulthard comes back out into 3rd.

Lap 16 - Alonso and M.Schumacher pit along with Ide.

Lap 17 - Button gets stuck in traffic behind Liuzzi which could give the lead back to Coulthard. Button then gets caught behind Liuzzi and Massa takes the lead.

Lap 19 - Massa pits and comes out ahead of Coulthard. Fisichella and Raikkonen also pit.

Lap 21 - Button pits and comes out behind both Massa and Coulthard, therefore handing the lead, and potentially the win to the Ferrari driver who was really moving before his pit stop.

Lap 22 - Order - Massa, Coulthard, Button, Klien, Webber, Villenuve, R.Schumacher and Trulli.

Lap 27 - Order - Massa, Coulthard, Button, Klien, Webber, Villenuve, R.Schumacher and Fisichella.

Lap 30 - Massa Pulls out a 9 second lead as the field continues to spread out continue becoming annoyed by the sound of James Allen's Voice.

Lap 32 - Complete rundown of the standings - Massa, Coulthard, Button, Klien, Webber, Villenuve, R.Schumacher, Fisichella, Hefield, Raikkonen, Trulli, Barrichello, Alonso, M.Schumacher, Albers, Ide, Liuzzi, Sato and Speed.

Lap 34 - Fisichella passes R.Schumacher into turn 2 after getting alongside in the first corner.

Lap 35 - Massa Wins what turned out to be a very boring race for all involved, still at least his engine didn't blow up 3 laps from the end this time.

Bah, come on Barrichello, we need a win or two to get any chance of top spot (that and the alarmingly close field just behind him for third is getting to be a major concern :P)

  17. Villenuve
  18. Webber
  19. Klien
  20. Button
  21. Coulthard
  22. Massa

Weather- Dry

Lap 1 - Its go, go, go at the Turkish grand prix with everyone safely away and through the first corner. Trulli gets a great start and is up to 6th.

Order at the end of lap 1 - Rosberg, Monterio, Montoya, Speed, Sato, Trulli, Liuzzi and M.Schumacher

Lap 2 - Webber collides with Klien on the way into turn one and that is the end of the likable Australian's race

Lap 3 - Trulli is on a charge and is now 5th, meanwhile Ide goes the other way and is now down to 11th

Lap 4 - M.Schumacher is up to 6th after dispatching Liuzzi and Sato

Lap 5 - With Montoya Stuck behind Monterio Rosberg has been able to pull out an impressive lead in just 5 laps

Lap 6 - Top 8 - Rosberg, Monterio, Montoya, Speed, M.Schumacher, Trulli, Liuzzi, Alonso.

Fisichella Tries to out muscle past Ide for 12th but is unsuccessful as the plucky Japanese driver holds his nerve down into turn 1

Lap 7 - Rosberg leads by over 8 seconds whilst further down the pack it's all go as Massa passes Villenuve in the train forming behind Ide.

Meanwhile back at the front Montoya finally gets past Monterio whilst Trulli retakes passes M.Schumacher for 6th

Lap 9 - Rosberg is now 22 seconds ahead of Montoya (Don't ask me how I don't do the timings) but it will be interesting to see what Montoya can do now he is in some clean air

Lap 10 - Massa passes R.Schumacher for 15th in the tight penultimate corner, Button capitalises on this and overtakes R.Schumacher at the start of the next lap.

Lap 11 - Trulli and M.Schumacher both overtake Speed in the penultimate corner before Trulli peels of into the pit. At the front Montoya has caught Rosberg but he still has a job on his hands if he going to get past.

Lap 12 - Heifeld pits from 12th meanwhile Trulli filters out back in 16th. M.Schumacher Passes Monterio for 3rd and looks like he wants to make it a 3 horse race for the win

Lap 13 - Montoya has a look up the inside of Rosberg into turn 11 but Rosberg firmly closes the door

Lap 14 - Albers Passes Ide around the outside for 19th

Lap 15 - Full run down - Rosberg, Montoya, M.Schumacher, Monterio, Barrichello, Fisichella, R.Schumacher, Sato, Klien, Villenuve, Trulli, Speed, Alonso, Heifeld, Raikkonen, Massa, Button, Coulthard, Albers and Ide

Lap 16 - Rosberg pits from the lead and comes back out 6th

Lap 17 - M.Schumacher pits from 2nd and is back out in 4th ahead of Rosberg due to the fact his engine cuts out in what can only be classed as classic Williams for 2006

Lap 18 - Monterio pits from 3rd and is back out in 9th, so it's now Montoya from M.Schumacher from R.Schumacher then Sato, Barrichello, Trulli, Fisichella and Speed

Lap 19 - Montoya is IN, repeat the race leader Montoya is IN and more importantly back out in the lead and with Rosberg's retire meant there is a good chance he will still be there at the end of the race

Lap 20 - Alonso passes Monterio for 8th and now Raikkonen and Massa are lining up to pass the Midlands driver

Lap 21 - Fisichella drives around the outside of Trulli for 4th which should help in the Championship

Lap 23 - Massa is passes Raikkonen who was pinned behind Monterio

Lap 25 - Top 8 - Montoya, M.Schumacher, Barrichello, Fisichella, Trulli, Speed, Alonso and Heifeld

Lap 26 - Massa passes Monterio whilst Button passes the still trapped Raikkonen no wonder Eddie Jordan wants him suspended

Lap 27 - Massa is catching Speed for 8th and M.Schumacher is catching Montoya but will either Ferrari driver get his man before the end of the race

Lap 28 - Massa runs wide and loses time so in that case probably not

Lap 29 - Montoya takes what could have been a relatively easy victory here in Turkey if he could have passed Monterio sooner, whilst else where on the track Massa in succeeds where his team mate fails and picks off Speed for the final points paying system.

  22. Montoya

Weather - wet

Lap 1 - Even through the tonnes of spray being thrown up everyone makes it safely through turn 1. Unfortunately the same can't be said for turn 4 as Alonso collides with the back of Massa Ferrari bringing a very premature end to the Spaniards race. Into the parabolica Liuzzi drives up the inside of Webber and is now leading. Meanwhile Rosberg manages to pass his teammate dropping Webber form 1st the 3rd in one corner.

Lap 2 - Top 8 - Liuzzi, Rosberg, Webber, Coulthard, Albers, Ide, Klien and Sato.
As Murray Walker used to say it's absolute anarchy coming into the first Lesmo as our leader Liuzzi's engine gives out on him and he is forced to park his car on the inside of the exit of the First Lesmo. Unfortunately his car is hidden to those following him and as a result the cars of Albers, R.Schumacher, Speed, Button, Villenuve, Trulli, Fisichella and M.Schumacher all collide with the stricken Torro Rosso and bar Albers and R.Schumacher are all out of this race

Lap 3 - Rosberg is in the same position he found himself in at the last race in Turkey except this time it is Webber not Montoya behind him

Lap 4 - Top 8 - Rosberg, Webber, Coulthard, Klien, Heifeld, Sato, Raikkonen and Massa

Lap 5 - Massa drops places to Ide and Montoya into turn 1, and then the Mclaren driver passes both Super Aguris. Elsewhere on track the other Mclaren of Raikkonen passes Heifeld for 5th

Lap 6 - Coulthard is on a charge and cleanly dispatches Webber before setting his crosshairs on Rosberg

Lap 7 - Raikkonen gets a good run on Klien into the1st corner and is up to 4th

Lap 8 - Montoya and Heifeld battle down into turn 1 and after much place swapping Montoya comes out on top and is now 6th. Back at the front these is real drama as yet another engine gives way, this time it is Coulthard and he must be 'bitterly disappointed' given he's position before he retired.

Lap 9 - Massa has caught Heifeld who appears to be struggling on this drying track and as a result concedes 6th place to the Ferrari driver on the way into turn 4

Lap 10 - Raikkonen is on a charge of epic proportions and has now passed Webber for 2nd with a great move straight down the inside into turn 1. As a result Raikkonen has inherited the lead as Rosberg has now pitted. Not to be out done Montoya out drags Klien into the parabolica

Lap 11 - Rosberg rejoins in 6th as Klien gets back passed Montoya allowing Massa to close in on the pair of them

Lap 12 - Heifeld is REALLY struggling so much so that Ide is even having a look at passing him down into turn 1. Again Montoya out drags the Red Bull of Klien into the Parabolica maybe this time he can hold on to the position. Meanwhile Raikkonen pits.

Lap 13 - Klien gets back passed Montoya into the 1sr corner for the 2nd time. Elsewhere Raikkonen comes out behind Rosberg but he does seem to be a lot closer to the Williams driver now. Back with Montoya it appears he has finally made a pass stick on Klien and is now on Webbers Trail.

Lap 14 - Montoya goes passed Webber like he's not even there and now leads. Elsewhere out on the track Massa passes Klien for 3rd before both drivers pit along with Montoya, Webber, Barrichello and most surprisingly both Raikkonen and Rosberg pit for the 2nd time.

Lap 15 - Full run Down - Webber, Montoya, Klein, Massa, Rosberg, Raikkonen, Barrichello, Heifeld, Ide, R.Schumacher, Sato and Albers.
At the front Montoya passes Webber at the Parabolica and behind them Massa does the same to Klien after both Montoya and Massa lost places during their pit stop.

Lap 16 - The reason Rosberg and Raikkonen pitted again was to change to dry tyres after they originally stayed on wets at their 1st stop.

Lap 17 - Massa Passes Webber on the start/finish straight and is now in pursuit of Montoya. R.Schumacher manages to pass Ide for 9th leaving the Super Aguri driver needing 2 drivers in front him to retire if he wants to score his first points of the season.

Lap 18 - Klein grinds to a halt after yet another engine goes bang meaning Ide now only needs one more retirement

Lap 19 - Raikkonen dispatches Rosberg and is now 4th

Lap 20 - Top 8 - Montoya, Massa, Webber, Raikkonen, Rosberg, Barrichello, Heifeld and R.Schumacher

Lap 21 - Sato and Albers squabble over 10th place with the Midlands coming out the victor

Lap 23 - Rosberg is falling into the clutches of Barrichello but can the Brawn I mean Honda driver catch him before the end of the race.

Lap 25 - After the initial amount of action in this race the field has spread out with only the battle for 5th left to resolve

Lap 26 - Scratch that Raikkonen has caught Webber for 3rd but can't seem to find a way past ...yet. Raikkonen gets a run on Webber into the Parabolica and appears to have made the move stick.

Lap 27 - Webber fights back into turn 1 and is through but this is by no means over as Raikkonen appears to be preparing for another attack. Meanwhile out in front Montoya wins for the 2nd time in a row whilst second place goes to Massa. Meanwhile the battle for 3rd goes right down to the wire with Raikkonen getting another run on Webber into the Parabolica only for the Williams driver to close the door but this won't deter Raikkonen who gets a slipstream on Webber onto the Start/Finish straight. It all appears to happen in slow motion as Raikkonen's Mclaren creeps past Webber's Williams centimetre a time and in the end Raikkonen crosses the finish line 0.06s ahead of Webber. Talk about close.
