Yeaaa, online is addictive since i'm winning so much. 500th post in this thread, i call winrawrzkipi19
Well, at least I'll get Over 9000!
I hate online :(
I seem to get all the bad luck, especially in Grand Prix mode.
I'm usually the first out to set a lap time and then the bug that doesn't count your Sector 3 time kicks in causing me to have an unbeatable lap time and everyone to leave.
When the bug doesn't happen, I get rammed off after 20 minutes of hard qualifying :(
And in Sprint I still get rammed off :(
Looks like I'll be sticking to Career for a while...
I've found the cars handle so much better online to career, and I just feel so much more at ease with the cars pushing harder, I mean, I did a 1:29:954 in Suzuka this morning online (can't prove it which is a Shame) but with the my other competitors in the race doing 1:31's and 1:32's it sometimes feels too easy to beat other people :Pkipi19
The reason that cars online handle better is because online, the handling is equal.
So a HRT can beat a RBR for example.
Random question:
How do you say Abu Dhabi?
I say it as ah-boo the-buy.
I hear people on the BBC F1 team say ah-boo dab-be.
Which makes me wonder which way is the right way to say it.
Yeaaa, I wish that too =/ cus I can't upload my phone pics atm, I can't prove my laps :(kipi19
Oh yeah!
Going to take a picture of your times at Canada and Abu Dhabi.

The Beeb say it the right way, and the handling can be set to equal or not, I beat a load of people around Spain in a HRT with it not set on equality on, soooo, just depends on what car suits you.

Ah, just Googled it and found:
"ah-boo dah-bee"
I've said it as "ah-boo the-buy" my whole life :(
Same for "meme", I said it as "me-me" but turns out that it's pronunced as "meem" :(

[QUOTE="kipi19"]Controller, dabest2500
What do you use for accelerate and brake?
Jackie stewart said not to keep lifting off the accelerator, this is impossible with the controller.
I have to keep tapping it to get through hairpins etc.
I can't use the wheel because the wheel only does 180 degrees.
You said earlier you use R1 and L1. I'd recommend using the triggers or the right stick. The triggers are easier, but the right stick gives you more control.

Ah, the analog stick method.
Those are so hard to use, I'm just not use to it, when I accelerate/brake I want to push down on something.
I'm really use to R1 and L1 now, I've tried the triggers anfd they're great, but I still need a bit of practice with them.
I am the same with the meme thing, I say "memee" but it is "meem" as you say. I just have a thing of pronouncing words phonetically rather than how they sometimes should be as I speak as I read it.Garfield360UK
How about knife or gnome?
We've gone from talking about F1 2010 to pronunciations of words...
...back on topic, please. :)
Redders1989
Sorry about that Redders :)
Aren't the R2 and L2 buttons pressure sensitive on the PS3 controller? I recall that being a sticking point that was resolved. EDIT: Ack! Ninja'd.XSamFisherX
Ninja'd?
How?
I used X for sensitivity in F1CE, So why can't i for this? hahahakipi19
That's the only button you could use in F1CE anyways...
Redders gag #002.

Wait, havent I seen this guy at Lotus? Something fishy is going on here.
I hate the Monaco pit exit =/ Another car coming along and you can badly swiped leaving the pit lane, and it doesn't penalise you for crossing the white line before turn 1 =/kipi19
Yeah, and seeing how hard Monaco is, it's a frustrating way to end your race.
And that's not even the racig line taken in real life, yet the AI still take it.
He looks so familiar. Or just British.XSamFisherX
That Geordie accent as well. Hmm something is doing down me thinks :P
But he doesnt say "Garfield, calm down baby" nor "Alonso is faster, can you confirm that message" followed by "sorry lad".Garfield360UK
What???
He says it to me :P
A little update from the Code Masters forum about the patch:
Update: I know we haven't updated this thread in a little while but I just wanted to reassure you all that work on the patch is progressing well, and we're confident that after the weekend following further testing we'll be able to reveal some details on what it is the patch will fix.
As always once I have more news i'll get it posted here. Caldera

Nah, he brings me the black ones because Alonso is quicker than me :(
Would that be beacuse you cant see through the visor? That would be interesting to see "sorry Mr FIA, we didnt see the rule that drivers had to have visability to drive the car, we cool bro?"

But the FIA and Ferrari are old buddies so they give Ferrari a £10 fine.
Or for not retiring allowing Alonso to finally be a one man team :P
As I dragged this off topic slightly I will go back to it. Has anybody here got the Silver Arrow and Ferrari achievment/trophy? I got the rain meister and silver arrow in one go on a Grand Prix race and should give the Ferrari at Monza achievment a go at some point.

These were one of my first trophies.
I wanted to get all the easy ones out of the way.
