Catalunya (Dry) - Jarno Trulli
Either it's a difficult game to play, or everyone we've seen playing this game so far is awful at driving.

I guess its due to the lack of assists being on. ABS and traction control being off really does affect cars on racing games if they are simulators. Forza Motorsport 2 and 3 I could not control the car as well in corners with them off as you cant break heavily as the wheels lock and if you power on too early you spin but if you dont do it fast enough you will fall back behind the pack.
The OPM arrived today, but it seems I was beaten to it. Oh well.sambob530
Well it's a shortened version of it I believe - if you've got the time to post the full review, I'm sure everyone would love to have a read :)
Maybe this applies to just the States..XSamFisherX
Nope.avi
I do believe this 10%-off deal is available to all Steam users around the world (with a few exceptions).
And yes. I myself have pre-purchased the game off Steam recently. 8)Â
F1 2010 review - another 90% zooms in
So, F1 2010 is pretty good, then. After it rocked Official PlayStation Magazine's socks to the point of a 9/10 review, GamesMaster has now given its verdict - and it's more good news for Codemasters.
In a praise-filled two-page evaluation - complete with splendid 90% score - GM heaps particular applause on F1 2010's career mode, dynamic weather effects and 'hardcore options', which include the possibility to tackle 70-lap races.
GM writes: 'Attending press conferences and interviews, exploring the paddock area and in-team competition between drivers makes [F1 2010] one of the first F1 games to make players feel like a driver rather than a car.'
The mag adds that it's 'delighted' with the officially licensed game's handling, which is says offers a 'huge amount of precision'.
A minor gripe is raised due to the lack of safety cars - and that it's not the most accessible game on four wheels.
But as writer Shaun Curnow says of people that don't understand the intricacies of F1: 'This game isn't for those people.' Quite.
Want even more praise? You goddit.
'F1 2010 delivers the finest, most all encompassing F1 racer on console,' GM concludes.
A must buy for F1 fans, it seems - so long as they're ready to give it the dedication it deserves.
F1 2010 is released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in the UK on September 24.

With just over a week and a bit to go until F1 2010 hits UK shelves, the traditional F1PU "Fastest Laps" table has been created. Here's the deal:
- PS3, 360 and PC times will all be accepted. Please state which system you are using when posting your fastest lap.
- When setting the time, cars must be on default setup. No moderations may be allowed to the car.
- Evidence through a video or screenshot will be required. Also add a piece of paper with your username written down which is visible.
Cool idea although are we saying no corner cutting? I dislike that when it comes to fast lap times.Garfield360UK
I'm assuming the game will automatically not count those laps anyway and just erase your time. Unless you can turn it off which would be lame -_-
And I think they should have used a different circuit comparison since Korea has nothing there
Hopefully, I know F1 CE on PS3 would null the lap time if you cut the corners on time trials -I kept not breaking in time on the Monaco chicane at the end of the tunnel, ras cas is it?
Anyway I am looking forward to this game, it has been a long time since an F1 game has come out and personally the PS1 games were my favourite although F1 Championship Edition is very very good. I just want them to get Grand Prix 4 level of detail such as stewards actually waving the flags, pushing you off the track if you have broken down/crashed on the circuit and also a safety car which I have not seen since F1 '99 on PS1.
GP4 was amazing. And you're right that level of detail hasn't been seen since. It's not game breaking material but it is nice to have that level of attention in a F1 game. I have a F1 game for Dreamcast that was really good, I forget the name because it has been so long.SchumiF1
F1 World Grand Prix per chance? Man I remember the Nintendo 64 adverts for the original games (which I also had, lol I was a big F1 game player back in the day) with the "lets see that again" adverts back when replays was a huge thing.
I am supprised the chicane at the end of the tunnel doesnt have a name, I have gone off there so often, but when racing I either go too slow and get took over or I go just a tad too fast and have to skip across part of it. I have yet to finish a race in Monaco on that game as I tend to run into the wall or another car trying to get past. The hairpin bend past the Casino going downhill is probably the only overtaking place on the whole circuit in game XD

I had that on the 64 and PS1. Man, the PS1 version was terrible.
So my copy of F1 2010 was pre-ordered from Amazon. Found out today the delivery time was expected to be between the 28th-30th September.
Not surprisingly, we're no longer pre-ordered with Amazon. We're now with Argos, who will deliver on the 24th!
Nice, I am planning on picking it up at the shops to see if any good deals are around although I doubt that will happen but you never know. We shall have to have a race Redders, possibly a bit longer than our Forza races to get a pit stop window into the mix.Garfield360UK
Indeed - and one which doesn't make the AI impossible to beat so we're fighting for 7th and 8th places  (Still can't believe I dropped it on the final corner!)
Play a few grand prixs to get an idea as to how hard the AI is so I know what level to put it at for my 7 year career :Pkipi19If my understanding of Dev Diary 5 is correct, you choose the level to put it as before you can even play

Haha so very true. I should not have thrown traction control off on that race, I have got a bit better learning with the A group cars but that car was sliding all over the track. The wall moment was memorable though :PSo no PC lovin'?XSamFisherX
I got a PM from Maslowo asking the same thing - if someone's willing to be the host for that then I'll set up the thread.
So, if the internet is anything to go by, the game should be available in North America today. Anyone there found it?Redders1989I'm sure if stores were open. Otherwise it will unlock at about 2pm Eastern on Steam. On another note: So many games to buy (Civ V, F1 2010), so little money and time to play them.
