I got another question.Of course not. So now your lack of trophy is explained, ain't it?
You see how it says "Win the Formula 1 Drivers' Championship on the Expert Difficulty setting", does that mean that you can do easy then on the last race do expert?dabest2500

I was just wondering about it.
I actually did a whole Championship on Expert and didn't get the trophy though...

I won the whole championship in expert mode and didn't get a single trophy.
Did you do it in career mode? I am not sure that the championship counts if it is done on the grand prix mode but I may be wrong.Garfield360UK
You got a point there, I think it has to be on the career mode.

Code Masters has wasted a hell of a lot of my time, spent several hours doing it too.
How I'm I supposed to do it on Career mode?
I'm driving for Lotus, and the minimum distance is 20%.
In Grand Prix mode, I put it on 1 lap because the car is hard to handle. I have noidea how I'll cope with 20%.
So I guess I got ahead of myself, did 2 races (1 Grand Prix and 1 Career) before I jumped into the online fray even though I said I would probably do a lot more offline stuff to get used to the game  It was a lot fun. I did about 4 or 5 races. Was nice the server I was in didn't have any of the clowns that went banzai all over the place. Lucked out this time I guess 8)
There was no laggyness when I played, which as we know is huge for a racing game.
You could start the career mode again perhaps? If you go to the My F1 menu on the main menu area thing (with the team truck, the journalists etc) then you can select start new career from there.
I could be wrong though, so dont do it on my say so, check with other people first.

I was going to get the trophy for winning an online Grand Prix but my one opponent quit...
I didn't get the win which is quite annoying.
He quit because he span, then waited for me to come around and tried to hit me, I was too fast and he just quit.
Also, there are people that do go banzai, I guess you got really lucky ;)

Why should I restart it?
I meant that if I did Expert mode in Career, it would be impossible for me to do it.
Well if you dont think you will win it in expert you could try again?
I would suggest to keep at it as you will have to get into the better teams through experience and rank in the game, of which you will earn by playing the career portion.

Oh I know  I've played many GTR2 races online. Would spend 30 minutes qualifying, get a top 5 start out of 20 cars or so.....only to be wrecked in the first corner :x So after it happened a couple times, I would just dial in my setup and just stop before crossing the line so I would start at the back and miss the first corner carnage.

Does playing the game using a racing wheel help to improve your lap time? I mean, I am using the controller right now and I am having trouble sticking to the racing line on many of the high-speed corners.

I found that playing with the controller is easier for me as the wheel only does 180 degrees.
Does anyone know of a way to change it so that I can do 360 or more?
With no traction control using a controller can be a real pain sometimes. I wish you could adjust the sensitivity. I'm using the analogy sticks as throttle/brake.
I have a G27 but I have nothing to mount it on to play on PS3 with

Ok, thanks for comments... I might just as well get a wheel and see whether I can improve or not. :P
I tried to use the analogy stick as throttle/brake but I couldn't adjust to it, instead, I use X and Square however, I couldn't slow down properly or speed up properly with it - So, right now, I am trying to use the R2/L2 as throttle/brake.
Anyway, I just get a wheel; properly will improve my lap time. :P

BTW, F1 cars can do over 360 degrees.
Got the game. You are all a ton of sour pusses. This game is pretty darn good. It would help if I knew the layouts of all the post-2002 tracks though.XSamFisherX

No they can't, an F1 steering wheel can turn little more than 180 degrees total. A little more than 90 clockwise and little more than 90 degrees counterclockwise how on earth would a driver be able to move an F1 steering wheel in a cockpit MORE than that without dislocating their shoulders?

HAHA!
I made KA say something wrong :P! (I should get some kind of prize or something)
Anyways, go to the official F1 website and looks at the Monaco 2010 oboard lap, you'll see Kubica turn the wheel upside down (and a little more than upsidedown too) for one of he corners.
I should have mentioned that Monaco is an exception to the rule wherein the car is set up in a way so that the outside wheel actually turns more than the inside wheel which allows the cars to comfortably get through Loews hairpin which does require more turning of the wheel. However it is little more than 180 degrees total from rest so I stand by my first post, remember 360 degrees is a complete rotation.KimisApprentice
How about when drivers have a crash, they turn the wheel to the left or right full lock (upside down)?
Look at Hamilton's crash at Singapore.
In regards to Monaco, why can't we set up pur own steering ratios?
Nice idea that Redders. I may have to give some of the other tracks a go on time trial. How close was I to your South Korea time as I did it again I think with maybe the Ferrari or Red Bull as my Hispania time was 15 seconds off yours XDGarfield360UK
According to the leaderboards, your HRT time is still the only one showing.

Don't want to start a fight, but Kimi's right. As for the crash, the steering wheel was not turning the wheels, the vane probably broke.

Won two ranked races, still no trophy. Don't really care though, I don't see the point in beating myself up over trophies when I know I did it. Kind of like the achievement glitch in Splinter Cell Conviction on the Xbox. Finished it on realistic, got no achievement until after a patch, and then when I booted it up, there was my achievement. My brother got it too, odd, he only finished it on easy. Anyway, glitches with trophies/ achievements are more common than you might think, but hey, you know what you did and who cares if nobody else can see it?

Ya aside from Monaco, you never see a driver use more than the 90 degrees either way while he's racing. The delay in turning would be freaking annoying/impossible at high speed. Plus like KA said, how can you cross your arms in a car like that, the only time you see a driver take his hands off the wheel is right before an accident, so he doesn't get injured or when the mechanics pull the car into the garage.
Give you an example, are you going to give your street car a wheel 180 degree turn at high speed? F no, the car will lose control. Slower speed is a different story, same with F1 at Monaco at the hairpin.
All you guys are saying that it's impractical at highspeeds which I understand, but these are hairpins I'm talking about, you are going fairly slowly through these, there was a video clip which I can no longer find (probably removed from Youtube) that the driver took one hand off the wheel and used the other to turn it upside down.
When drivers spin (not crash), don't they turn they wheel upside down to give it full lock?
Also, why aren't we able to turn the wheel upside down at Monaco then?
I'm sure these drivers use a little more over 90 degrees, 90 degrees would be a little restricting.
Found another bug.
For some reason, cars can drive through you very briefly after exiting the pit lane.
Bug.
First season with Lotus
4 Wins: Canada, Spa, Brazil and Abu Dhabi
18 Reputation. and Legendary difficulty :D
I've found that pit exit bug as well, and I don't like how it drives you out the pits, its the worst in abu dhabi, cus you can full pelt the exit and the AI just steers for you =/
Any idea on the length of time for this patch?
Also, how can you bring up the fastest laps that you have done on the game?
