I've found that pit exit bug as well, and I don't like how it drives you out the pits, its the worst in abu dhabi, cus you can full pelt the exit and the AI just steers for you =/

Any idea on the length of time for this patch?

Also, how can you bring up the fastest laps that you have done on the game?

I'm still at Turkey...

I hate how the car steers itself out of the pits, then guess what happened, when Trulli crashed into me I got the penalty.

Length of time? No idea I'm afraid.

It seems that your lap times only get recorded if you do it in Time Trial.

Another bug, this is a funny one though:

All you guys are saying that it's impractical at highspeeds which I understand, but these are hairpins I'm talking about, you are going fairly slowly through these, there was a video clip which I can no longer find (probably removed from Youtube) that the driver took one hand off the wheel and used the other to turn it upside down.

When drivers spin (not crash), don't they turn they wheel upside down to give it full lock?

Also, why aren't we able to turn the wheel upside down at Monaco then?

I'm sure these drivers use a little more over 90 degrees, 90 degrees would be a little restricting.

Does anyone know how to view how many engines you have remaining for the season?
Is it also possible to blow your engine? (I've tried but it just goes red).

Also, why is it that your tyres are always green (optimum temperature) at the beginning of Practice, Qualifying or a Race?
I've only ever seen them turn blue once (cold) but they quickly changed back.

Has anyone noticed that looking in your mirrors is kinda rubbish as the mirrors sort of lags.

Yeah, it's not very good.  I've also noticed that the car reflections are terrible! Very laggy and low detail.

Also, when your wing breaks, it doesn't break into small pieces, it breaks like lego, in pre designed pieces.

The damage is just unreal, and I mean that in a bad way :(

I'm also driving for Lotus, have you turned the fuel simulation off?
It appears that the AI isn't affected by fuel.

Also, does anyone know if the AI is affected by tyres?
I'm having people like Sutil not pitting for the whole race (annoying bug) but managing to go on with Option tyres.

everything is on in my career :) AI aren't affected by damage either, I've knocked front wings off by accident before now, and they still go like normal... F1CE again, played this into effect and it was a real hamper on the player to have this happen.kipi19

Do you also know if your suspension can actually get damaged, because during a loading screen, it says that the rear wing and suspension are unrepairable.

F1 CE was quite strange, I knocked my front wing off and won the race from last, overtook everyone in Silverstone in 15 laps :S

The thing I like about F1 CE is you have to warm up your tyres and you can blow your engine before the race starts if you don't know how to cool it down properly. :P

Dunno if this is a bug or not. But I was racing online in Brazil a few days ago. Heavy rain race, start to finish. So me and 2 or 3 other players used either wets or inters at the start. 2 other guys used options. Wanna guess who finished 1-2, and by quite a bit of a margin? :? SchumiF1

7th on the grid, Made it into the lead by the end of the lap due to Button making a mistake, Led until lap 3 when i pitted for primes, Lap 4 it starts to rain, By lap 7 the track is pretty wet and should of been inters whether, but somehow I could keep my pace up, lap 9 it starts to make it heavy rain, end of lap 9 all the AI dive in to get Wets, I'm still on my primes as Rosberg pits in front of me, so I lead to start the last two laps, Start of lap 11 was Trecherous as hell, poodled round to win the race though

I was just very confused as to how the game is processing the tyres VS the weather, cus its not possible for hard tyres to cope in the wet, you'll just go off immedietly :/

Ya when they do the pre-race intro, I saw the 2 guys on options and I was like "well they are screwed, guess the didn't see it raining" and the forecast was heavy rain 95%. They both took each other out at the first corner (they started 1-2). So I was like oh cool I have a strong possibility to win this in this terrible condition. Put in competative laps but the 2 guys on drys just blew by everyone else and me by the 3rd or 4th lap. And I finished 3rd, and 20+ seconds back lol. And it was treacherous the entire race. So I was kinda left with a wtf!? impression :lol:

I guess it has to be a bug cause it's impossible to pull that off, not even Senna could work his magic in that :lol: 

Yeaaaa, I hope that they sort that. tis a bit ridiculous that that happens =/

The thing I like about F1 CE is you have to warm up your tyres and you can blow your engine before the race starts if you don't know how to cool it down properly. :P

My first time playing that game and I saw that I could easily heat up the tyres by pressing the accelerate and brakes at the same time! :lol:

It's not realistic for the AI to have no fuel...
So why not level out the field ;)

Either way, I hope this upcoming patch from CM fixes most if not all of these annoying, unrealistic bugs! :(.

I'm in my first of 5 seasons and I'm currently with BMW.  I've just finished in China and I'm not doing too flash, just 18 points so far but that's okay.  What bugs me is that I started 8th on the grid and within the first few corners managed to sneak up to 4th and by the end of the first lap I'd scratched into 3rd. I was keeping the pace with 1 and 2, whereas the others seemed to fall behind.  I was only doing a 20% race for this one, whereas I normally do 50%. 

Anyway, I had to pit on lap 4 of 11 to switch to primes and came out of the pits in 18th.  I then had to make my way through the field again, gaining only about 5 or 6 places from other cars that pitted... how everybody else didn't pit is beyond me, surely I should have ended up close to 3rd or 4th again after everybody else had pitted... it just doesn't make sense.  I ended up finishing in 7th, because that was as far up the field as I could get.

I'm having the same problem with 20% race distance... It is the same with 50% race distance?

I'm afraid so.  The other races had me jumping into the pits twice, once to change to primes, then to change to wets as the weather worsened.  I did it at the appropriate time and lost very little time in doing so, yet still I ended up MUCH further down the pack than before I pitted, even though almost everybody else would surely have had to use a similar pit strategy. It makes the game feel cheap when AI cars don't pit the way they'd need to in real life :(.

This was one of the things that ruined my race in Monaco, twice.

So what do I do now?

Well, I push really hard on Options until 3 laps from the end (I do 20% races) and my tyres are red, but for some reason are doing quite fine :shock: then I pit in for Primes.
At this point, I'mabout 30 seconds ahead of the AI...

Quick question.

Does Abu Dhabi go from dusk to darkness like in real life or does it just stay at dusk?
Also, does it only work on 100%?

Yes I have, it just says that none of my friends have posted times in Bahrain for example.
