I figured that most of it was fake but I was trying to be somewhat polite or I guess at least non judgemental till I got to know them. Thats why I used the word 'detailed' before background, I would have used 'interesting' but I thought that might come off slightly insulting. Its resolved now thankfully. Hey guys. I've been a member of this union for like 3 years and this is my first post here :P

I'm here because I'm quite an active member of FFFU and have decided to see what the craic is over in this neck of the woods.

Anyway, here's my introduction!

My name is Shane. I'm 19, from Ireland (obviously :P ). I love RPGs and fighting games. FFVIII is my favourite Final Fantasy game. I like rock/metal music. My favourite band is Metallica. I also like alot of video game music, like 'The Castle' or 'Otherworld' from FFVIII and FFX respectively.

I enjoy comedy movies and action movies. My favourite movie is either LOTR, Superbad or Dumb and Dumber.

I watch alot of tv dramas such as Dexter, The Sopranos, and Boardwalk Empire.

Here's how I got my username:

'irishdude'- Irish people rarely/never say the word dude so I used some tongue-in-cheek humour.

'1992'-the year I was born

'10' - I signed up to gamespot in 2010.

It's unnecessarily long, and wasn't really intended to be my proper username but I signed up to GS in school :P I just didn't bother creating another account.

People just call me 'irish' in forums. It's ok to call me by my real name too. :)

You are only 19 :o I though you are as old as me or close :) when you told me you become harsh criticizing the games when you get older I thought you are bigger than 19, well you aren't that big compared to me :).

And another FFVIII fan is always welcome :) and it's nice to know the story of your user name, I also was going to pick SQUALL2005 but then thought years will move and the name will be old so why not doing a dynamic name, so I went with SQUALL20XX, you can replace XX with 11 and here you are in 2011 :P few actually know why it's 20XX, this is actually my first time telling it here.

Maybe they don't allow you to change your name in case you go around trolling etc. and then change your name so nobody would know it was you :? Just a theory. It's unlikely though. There's bound to be some reason behind it.

No GS don't allow us to do it as many technical difficulties will arise when changing the name.

Anyway...I'm a fan of Final Fantasy games. Currently playing VII, and XIII. Well let's rephrase that...I'm playing VII until I finish it finally, then I'm going to finish XIII.

Love horror movies!! The scarier the better, but it's hard to find a good scary movie anymore :(

I'm 33, and my birthday's June 29th.

Well Raven is one of my favorite birds :) Then when I started dating my husband one of his sisters had the same name as me ( Both of our full names are Mary Beth Husband...yes Husband is my last name. Proceed with the jokes. ;) ) 325 came about because I have 3 kids and the guy I was dating at the time I started with GS had 2 daughters. There was talk of marriage, but we ended breaking up.
