Adventure!!

The scenery changed from grass to snow.  "That was odd.  It was all warm and now it's cold..."

"We could've cooked it although I'm sure somebody won't be really happy..." Leon rolled his eyes. He looked out the window and noticed some figures. "Funny...who would want to hang out in such a desolate wasteland?"

One of the figures raised a RPG and took aim.

"Who'd you piss off this time, Leon?" Squirrel looked at the figure aiming the RPG at the train. "I got this one. You sit back and relax."

She stood up on her chair and popped the window out. She grabbed her bow and arrow, and sniped the unsuspecting figure.

"Child's play... Even from a moving train!" She glanced around at the snowy wasteland. "Uh... Guys?! There's more of 'em!"

"You tell me!" Leon ducked from a RPG that nearly pegged his head. "Eveer since we existed nothing goes right!"

Rockets began to fly towards their direction, and one exploded on the side of the train, damaging it.

"We're taking hits!" Toon Link alarmed.

"Doesn't this thing have a cannon or something!"  Xane said, "Can't you shoot them with something Leon!?"

"Fine, don't do anything!" Squirrel yelled. "I'll take care of this!" She climbed out of the window she popped open moments ago, and climbed onto the roof.

"Come on... aim at me..." She muttered, and waved her arms. It was working, two of the people with RPGs took aim at her. One fired, and Squirrel dropped onto the roof, and the missile flew way over the train. Now, she sniped the one that had fired the attack while they were reloading.

Leon began to spray his SMG out the window, saturing the area with bullets. "Does it look like I can handle them all by myself with this gun!? Maybe if I had a BFG, I'd kill em easily!"

He ducked and quickly reloaded his empty weapon.

Xane began using energy bursts to push the RPGs up to the sky, then back around to hit the ones who fired it.  It was really effective.

"We're arriving!" Toon Link said, coming to a stop in front of a large structure, "Snow temple!" 

They slowly went inside and came to a halt in a spacious room.  Xane hopped out and saw a door.  "Let's go!  I wanna get away from whoever is firing those missiles."  He said as he redirected another one.

Leon fired his last grenade and turned away from the firefight, realizing they were finally safe from the RPGs.

"Damn, we took too much damage. We need to repair this contraption."

"Get over it." Squirrel jumped off the train. "Why are we even here?" She put away her bow and arrows and looked around.

"For all the ice in this place... it's not really cold..." She muttered.

"I sense we are not alone here...." Toon Zelda looked into the cave. "There's someone else here."

"Give me a break. We'll just handle em the old fashioned way!" Leon grabbed the last belt of grenades and strapped it around his body. "Let's go."

He led the way, the P90 raised just in case something jumped out.

"I think we'll have to work together to get through this first room."  Xane said seeing two switches.  "Or not."  Xane pushed on a vine on each one and a door opened.  He hesitantly took a vine off and it stayed open.

"I think someone has been here already." Xane said noticing that nothing was in the temple and that all the doors except the front one were open.  Even the bridges were down.

Toon Link walked into the cave uncertainly. "Uh...I think we should head back..."

"I guess this is what happens when you aren't exposed to the elements..." Leon grumbled under his breath in a frustrating manner.

He found a switch at the entrance. Slamming it, the door creaked open, groaning as it rose. Ice particles fell from the frost-encrusted gate.

"Well we can't get out with the train now." Squirrel muttered. As the gate creaked open, she was the first on through, nearly slipping on the patch of ice right at the entrance.

"Well? You coming or not?!" She called back to her allies, and looked around the temple. Xane was right, it did look like someone was already here. "Think you were spot-on, Xane, it looks like someone was through here already!"

She noticed a bell, and walked over to it. "Wonder what you do with this..." She grabbed her Keyblade, and slammed it as hard as she could. An ear-splitting ring screeched throughout the temple, causing some of the icicles to fall.

Suddenly, a yeti-looking creature stormed out of one of the opened doors. It looked annoyed, and angry.

"Oh s***!" Squirrel ducked behind the bell so she wouldn't be seen, but it was too late. The yeti-looking creature jumped over the bell and landed behind her. It roared, and she jumped out of the way of it's claws.

"Little help over here!?" She yelled, and slashed her Keyblade across the yeti-creature's face.

Xane used energy and slammed the bell into the yeti.  The ear-piercing ring made the creature stumble and fall into a conveniently place bottomless pit. 

The death of the yeti triggered another attack-this time, from ice-elemental keese. They dived down towards the adventurers with a bloodthristy attitude.

"I got this!" Leon gunned them all down with his P90, not even missing a single round. "Well, that was unpleasant, don't you agree?" He reloaded. "Looks like we're going to have to get across this icy water...although I'll bet it's instant death if we fall in."

"Thanks, Xane.  Uh... Where the hell did that bottomless pit come from?" Squirrel looked down into the pitch darkness. "Huh."

Squirrel walked over to the edge of the icy water. "Maybe there's.... some kind of switch to trigger a bridge or something?" She looked around.

"If I had a jetpack or the LV Armor, I can fly across that...but that ain't happening." Leon sighed. "A world with crap technology is definitely crap." He looked around and found another door.

"Let's see where this leads to."

"Hey theres a door over here too!"  Maybe we should split up?"

Yeah, but I was gonna try to do something, guess not anymore..:P

*the bottemless pit closes slowly*

"Splitting up sounds good to me." Squirrel spoke. And without another word, she headed through the door to the far left. It seemed pretty empty, until the door closed behind her.

"S***!" She cursed under her breath, but continued without looking back. She slammed on a switch at the end of the hall, and abridge opened over a sand pit. She crossed quickly, in case it happened to close after a period of time.

Leon entered the door, barely able to see anything behond his sight and vision. He was already beginning to feel numb from the intense cold, all thanks to the T-shirt he wore.

Ah well. There should be some fire here...hopefully.

A locked door obstructed him, but he destroyed the chains with his laser cutter.

Xane walked through the right door which had another bell.  He walked in and gave it a push and it fell into the water.

"Crap..." Xane mumbled. 

"What the hell am I supposed to do here?" Squirrel muttered. The room was totally dark, but she could see well in the dark, so that did not serve much of a problem.

She placed had hand on the wall and began walking the perimeter of the room, so that when she came to an opening she would know it was a door. However, there was a clanking sound towards the middle of the room. She figured it was some sort of guard, and it hadn't noticed her.

She spoke too soon. The armor guards sword lit up in flames, and it spotted her.

"Phantoms!" She spoke under her breath. "How the hell am I going to deal with this if I can't-" She stopped herself as she heard a second Phantom enter the room.

"Dammit!" She worked out a plan in her head as she used a dodge-roll to escape the first Phantom's attack. She raced along the edge of the walls, since being much faster than the Phantoms gave her a slight advantage. "Okay, if I can trick the Phantom with the glowing sword into attacking the one with no light, I can speak up behind it and paralyze it while I escape." She whispered to herself.

He entered the new room, and to his luck there was a fire available for him to warm himself up to.

Yes! Running to the small bright flame like a starving man to a buffet, he held his hands up to the fire and warmed himself up-but he was cut short when he heard heavy footsteps coming.

"Perfect!" Squirrel whispered as the Phantom without any light slashed the wall behind her with it's sword. She stood in front of it as it attempted to dislodge it's sword from the wall. Luckily, the Phantom with the fire-sword was advancing.

It lifted it's sword, and Squirrel side-stepped out of the way just a second before the sword hit her. The Phantom destroyed the other one, just according to plan. She grabbed her Keyblade and slashed the back of the other Phantom, and it paralyzed it, causing it to drop it's sword.

"Huh...." She quickly grabbed the huge sword, and made a run for it. It wasn't easy, though, as the sword was the size of her whole body, but at least she had light now.

After the bell had fell into the water, the room felt like one big awkward moment.  "That was probably to some puzzle." Xane mumbled to himself.  He went back to the main room with a sign and went through the middle one that Des had gone in.

Backing himself to the wall, Leon realized it was a Phantom-it had probably heard his footsteps and it was coming to investigate...

Damn! What now!?

He only had 5 rounds of grenades left-and of course, bullets wouldn't even tickle the behemoth.

"Whew... That was close." Squirrel sighed. She used her newly acquired sword to look around, and spotted an unlit torch.

That could be useful. She thought, knowing she would sound insane if she said it out loud because she was talking to herself. She walked over to the torch and lit it up. She looked around for more torches, and found four more.

She figured it would be a good idea to light them all, and so she did. After lighting the last one, a weird music-like sound echoed, and a key dropped down from out of nowhere.

Oh great, now they hid keys in the rafters. She rolled her eyes, and picked up the key. Leaving the Phantom's sword behind, she looked around for a door to use it on.

Soon enough, she came across one, and the key fit perfectly. No surprise.

She headed though the door. The room was lit, so she could see perfectly.

"What... the... hell." She muttered. She was on the other side of the water that they had seen when they first entered the temple. She looked across, and sure enough, there was the door they entered through.

"I went in a complete circle." She mumbled under her breath. "I went in a f***ing circle!" She survived two Phantoms, only to find out she went in a complete circle.

The Phantom spotted him near the flames-and in an act of rage, it sprinted towards Leon intent on slicing him up.

"****!" He cursed and quickly ran.

Squirrel spotted a nearby lever. She stomped on it, figuring she might as well try another door on the other side. Instead of opening a bridge across the water, a set of stairs hid under a flase floor opened up.

"What the...?" She muttered. It was dark down there, but she headed down without a second thought. even having the ability to see really well in the dark, she could only see about two feet in front of her face.

Better than not seeing anything, I suppose.

Sprinting as fast as he could, Leon could fee the Phantom catching up-and really fast also.

That bastard is the size of a tank yet he can chase me down faster than a roadrunner! Desperate, he turned around and gave it a grenade right in the face.

As Squirrel got to the bottom of the stairs, Keese flew out, and she dropped to the ground, not wanting to be attacked.

How many Keese are in this place, anyway?! She thought as the Keese passed, and she got to her feet.

After the sound of the Keese's screeching passed, the only thing she heard was her own footsteps.

"What's on this floor, anyway?" She whispered. No Phantoms - or other enemies for that matter - were heard anywhere, just silence.

The grenade only seemed to make the beast angrier-not only was it not damaged by the blast, but it was sprinting towards him abotu 2 times faster now!

Oh ****balls! Leon cursed. I need something to kill it, but what!?

As he passed under an overpass, he realized that there were cracks in the stone supporting a giant boulder-like structure overhead. He had a plan-squash this bastard to bloody hell with the terrain.

Now I just need to lure it close enough....

Xane walked into the room Leon had gone into to find nothing.  "Leon?"

As Leon loaded his grenade launcher to destroy the pillar and hopefully crush the Phantom, his pursuer appeared around the corner-and spotted him dead on. It rushed at him in a mad rage, intent on slicing him up.

One shot at this.

Hoping for the best, he shot the grenade right between the cracks of the pillar and the projectile detonated. The Phantom, still too stupid to realize its immiment doom, continued charging forward.

The pillar fell.

WHAM! It was crushed into a clump of scrap metal in an instant.

"Oh, yeah!" Leon laughed. Walking up to its corpse, he realized it dropped something-an M16 Rifle! It was like music to his ears-his P90 was down to 60 rounds-just a little over a clip. The grenades wouldn't save him for long either, as they were needed for demolitions rather than direct conflicts.

"Who's laughing now!?" He picked up the rifle, spat on the Phantom's corpse and kicked the body. "Who's the one with the heavy firepower!? Hahahah!"

Ok, maybe I overdid it...

The sound of a pillar falling on the above floor echoed through the unlit basement-like room. As it fell, the room seemed to shake. Squirrel ducked down and covered her head, fearing that the roof was falling in.

"Dammit!" She yelled, feeling stupid for believing the entire structure was falling. Even her voice seemed to echo down here.

However, her voice seemed to trigger some sort of trap. The room lit up with hidden torches, and a Phantom entered.

"Oh hell..."

Leon decided to store his P90 in his backpack, as it was far from effective at engaging bigger targets. Sure, it prevailed against Keese, but against bigger foes, it was merely a waste of ammunition. Hefting his M16, he trekked along the icy corridors cautiously.

Now how the hell do I get out of here? The door was locked, and Leon was down to one grenade. He had lost his laser cutter while he was fleeing the Phantom, and that area was locked now....

Squirrel spotted a lever on the other side of the room. Dodging the Phantom, she raced over to it was pulled it, hoping something would pop up and help her defeat the Phantom.

"Of course not..." She muttered. There was a sound from above, but she wasn't sure what it had done.

However, now she had no choice but to escape, and raced towards the stairs she entered through, only to discover bars had dropped from the ceiling.

"DAMMIT!!!" She yelled in frustration, and turned back to find the Phantom.

"Wr-wrecker Phantom?!" She dodge-rolled out of the way as the wrecking-ball Phantom charged at her. "This just keeps getting freaking better!" She dove behind the corner, in hopes that the Phantom would come out of wrecking ball form to attempt and destroy her with it's sword.

"Come on... If I can paralyze it I can find a way to kill it."
