Yeah, that was to your post.
There aren't that many Jurassic Park games for the handheld and even fewer that were good. But... there are a few hidden jems.
Jurassic Park III: Park Builder(GBA)- Basically a sims/tycoon game similar to Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis for the PC/PS2/Xbox. You build your own park and manage it.
Jurassic Park III: Island Attack(GBA)- It's one of your typical adventure games but captures the film alright in 8 levels. It's not the best GBA game you've probably ever played but if you're a fan of the films and of dinosaurs, you'll greatly appreciate this game.
There's also a third one, because there was a Jurassic Park III compilation for the GBA, called The DNA factor but it was pretty abysmal.
Other dinosaur games that are good if not restricted to just the GB/GBA/GBC:
Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2(both for the playstation)- Basically it's the culmination of Resident Evil meets Jurassic Park. Both are excellent games. Don't bother with the third one for the Xbox because it's mediocre.
If you have a Dreamcast, there is a somewhat cheesy/pretty good game called Blue Stinger that had dinosaurs. Plays like Resident Evil. The game has an alright story and alright gameplay, but it's got dinosaurs in it.
Well, that's all I can offer. If you're into sims/tycoon games and like the Jurassic Park III: Park Builder game, then you'll love Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis for the PC/PS2/Xbox.
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
i have dino crisis 2...(play it 1 hour a day)
but how about chaos contiues? oh and i like adventure so island attack seems nice.

Yeah, it's sort of the same as Island Attack. Each level is seperated into zones and have to collect magnetic cards to pass the level and beat the boss. I forgot how many levels there were *scratches head* I think there was 7 or 8. It's been a long time. Good thing you asked because I totally forgot about that game.
Saw cod 2 for 360 and cod 3 for ps3 in my local game store..which shld i buy and y? im more of a single player and shld i jus stick to cod4 and waw?thanksAmartherion
In terms of COD 2 versus COD 3, COD 2 is a lot more cohesive and much more enjoyable to play. As contested with COD 4, it all depends on your taste for WWII or Modern Warefare. Personally, Call of Duty 4 is far more enjoyable to play. The storyline is easy to follow and feels like it came out of an action movie, the are personalities with the characters you fight with, and it feels refreshing and new when compared to COD 2. So overall: COD 4 but if you want a WW II shooter, COD 2.
I have Wii, PS2, DS, and Laptop (Pentium M 1.73g w/ 1.25g RAM) Love RPGs and Strat games...Specifically, I was playing WoW and enjoyed the character customization a great deal...I'm gonna run a trial of FFXI to see how that one holds up (I PvE so that's fine, but I hear it's a grindfest and is impossible to play solo)... I'm open to older games I've missed. effthat
So what are you looking for? Do you want an opinion about FF XI? I'm not sure what you want us to recemmend you.

ohh im intrested alot now, so what are the weapons?Well, there aren't really weapons per say. Your arsenal includes a flare gun which you can shoot at explosive barrels to send the dinosaurs to their maker. So you can't shoot them down with a shotgun/pistol/etc. You also have a tranq. gun to stun them for a bit. Usually, you're best stratedgy is to run. The game is pretty good. There is a motorcycle level which I felt was done pretty well where you're jumping over pot holes and other things while hungry dinosaurs are hot on your heels.(You'd think a motorcycle could outdo them).

An opinion on FF XI would be great... Any other game suggestions would be noted and acted upon accordingly... If I knew what I was looking for...why would I ask for suggestions?Well, in terms of Final Fantasy XI, I refuse to pay a monthly subscription to play it so I can't form any real personal opinion about it. But, from what I've heard, it is indeed a grind fest and there are quite a few people who will allow you to tag along to areas that are danger and leave you there to die because you're not strong enough. There is a consequence when dieing as you love levels/experience when you die. So say you're at a level six Mage and die, you'll be brought down to level four or something to that degree as punishment. The game is pretty difficult but I could guarentee based on all the expansion packs(there are several) that it would take years to explore everything. Overall: I've heard people really like it but it has it's faults.
If you're looking for games like it(I see you're into MMO games) WoW and FF XI, then Warhammer Online and Lord of the Rings: Shadow of Angmar would also be of keen interest. Lastly, I've heard Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is pretty good.
Some classic RPGs for PC are the Diablo series, Baldur's Gate II(a classic), Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Fable: Lost Chapters(good for those who love customization). Deus Ex: The Conspiracy and Deus Ex: Invisible War are great games in terms of mixing RPGs and FPS. Other FPS/RPG is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and it's expansion Clear Skies. I wanted to recemend HellGate: Londown Wars but I believe their servers have been taken down recently. Bioshock may be another interest if your computer can handle it which is a mix of RPG/FPS(perhaps more FPS but the RPG is there). You may be able to play Gothic 3 which is a good RPG. As in terms of RTS, I can't really recemmend any as I'm not much of an expert in the RTS genre. But I'll try to name some.
If you like WoW, then you'll love Warcraft III for the PC. Considered one of the best RTSs along with the Starcraft games. Age of Mythology along with the Age of Empire games may be of your interest. Rise of Nations, The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth, Star Wars: Empire at War, the Warhammer 40,000 series, the Command and Conquer games, and Homeworld I and II.
Good RPGs for the DS:
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance II: Grimoire of the Rift(an RTS type of game) Might want to get the first one for the GBA and play it on the DS if you have a Lite or Phat version.
Lunar Knights(Action RPG)
Dragon Ball Origins(Action RPG)
Dragon Quest IV and V(I think V is out)
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings(sort of like FF XII but an RTS type of game)
Luminous Arc I and II(RPG/RTS)
Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin and Advance Wars: Dual Strike(Both are RTS type of games)
Age of Mythologies(RTS)
AGe of Empires: THe AGe of Kings(RTS)
As for the PS2:
Breath of Fire V, Champions of Norath I and Champions of Norrath II: Return to Arms(action RPG games), Final Fantasy X and XII, Dark Cloud I and II, Grandia III, Kingdom Hearts I and II and Chain of Memories(Action/RPG games), Rogue Galaxy(action RPG), Samuria Legend: Susashi(Action/RPG, Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts Covenent and Shadow Hearts: THe New World, The Shin Megmi Tensei games called Digital Devil Saga I and II, Nocturne, Persona 3 and 4, and Devil Summoner. Disgea I and II(both RTS), Star Ocean 3 TIll the End of Time(action/RPG), Tales of Legendia and Tales of the Abyss, Xenosaga I,II,III, Front Mission IV(RTS), Growlanser: Generations(RTS), Phantom Brave(RTS), Makia Kingdom(RTS), Radiata Stories, Suikoden III and V(Skip IV), WIld Arms III, IV, V.
There you go. I've gave a slew of recemendations.

I own a ps2 and need some recommendations. I've been playing alot of ps1 FF's which I need a break from rpgs. So I'm looking for a change. Here are some games I have in my collection:
god of war I&II, silent hill 2,3,4, ico, sotc, tokyo xtreme racer zero, kaido racer 1 & 2, wipeout fusion, final fantasy X & XII. I'm not a fan of fps and sports.
Cheers,

Okami-It carries the Legend of Zelda formula in it's DNA, but it's a highly underrated game(in terms of sales) and is amazing.
If you like God of War I and God of War II, then you'll like the Devil May Cry Series for the PS2. DMC 1, DMC 2, and DMC3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition(has extra content).
If you Silent Hill, a very similar game for the PS2 is the Fatal Frame games I, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, and Fatal Frame III: Torment. Also might want to tr out Siren. A very unique title which you have to survive by using a special ability that allows you to see through the enemies eyes. It's pretty cool.
Ghosthunter is a very underrated game for the PS2. It has really good graphics and has you trying to capture Ghosts in really cool locales such as in the deep swamps in Florida to a Prison. It's got a Ghostbuster aura to it. Really good game.
Perhaps some platformers? The Jak and Daxter games are really good with II and III folling suit with a GTA/mission type of gameplay. The Ratchet and Clank games are really good with the II and III incorporating RPG elements such as the ability to gaine expierence to increase health. You weapons also gain experience and upgrade. The Sly Cooper games are really good I,II, and III.
In terms of stealth type of games for the PS2, Metal Gear Solid II and III are great as well with the Splinter Cell games I,II, and III.
Resident Evil 4 is an excellent game.
If you like Mech kind of games but with really cool sci-fi/animiesh graphics, Zone of the Enders I and II are really good.
Thanks for the reply :) I did however own Okami before as it seemed a game in my interest but I got turned off by the beginning. It took forever to get into it and I just lost interest. I know, not good but honestly the intro was ridiculously too long and I just got put off by it. I'm going to give devil may cry a try. Should I start off with the first or it doesn't matter?
Cheers man,

Yeah, the beginning does start out a little slow but it does get better as the story progresses.
The games are out of order in terms of the chonological story. Story wise: It's DMC3/DMC/DMC4(if you have a PS3/Xbox 360/PC)/and then DMC 2. On the PS2, DMC 3 and DMC are considered the best with DMC 2 being the weakest link in the series. Really, it doesn't really matter which order you play the games. Playing DMC 3 first could help flesh out the plot points that occur in DMC. The only difficult thing is getting used to the combat system. While DMC is a great action game, it fails in depth compared to DMC 3 that has a very robust combat mechanics. My suggestion is to play DMC and then play DMC 3. While DMC 2 is a good game in it's rights, it's not as good as the rest.
Overall: I'd suggest playing DMC so you can appreciate all the improvements that were made in DMC 3.
BTW: DMC 3 is considered to be a very difficult game. Wihle it can be difficult, it's one of the few games were the saying "practice makes perfect" really works.
ok i have WoW and i have finnaly started 2 get bored of it and now im thinkin of getin WAR but im not sure if its better than WAR or worse just tell me what u think i should get.
p.s. i can only have 1 at once

Hey guys
I'm getting a new wii game tomorrow (or the next day) but I can't decide if I should get Animal Crossing: City Folk, or No More Heroes
Thanks for your help
barbz911
No More Heroes is a better game in my opinion. If you want an Animal Crossing game, try to get Animal Crossing: Wild World for the DS as there is remarkably little difference between it and the Wii version. Plus, the DS version is cheaper.

Thanks, alot of those games I just looked past when they first came out, but I think I'll give some of them a try.
So I have nothing really to play until Star Ocean releases in two weeks, so I'm trying to look for anything good to play in the meantime, hopefully sorta cheap. Any recommendations? Preferably something not too long (that I can finish in 2 weeks), and not an RPG since I don't want to "RPG myself to death" before SO4. You can sort of get a feel for games I like by going here. Thanks!morph_basic
The Darkness
Bioshock
Condemned: Criminal Origins
Organge Box
All relatively cheap games.
I am already getting fallout 3 and skate 2 for my birthday but I am still not sure weather or not to get either endwar, resident evil 5, LOTR conquest or guitar hero world tour with guitar bundle. I own a Xbox 36o and a wii so what game would you reccomend?!!! Comic_Capers
Happy Birthday8)
Well it all depends on your personal tastes I would imagine. If anything, do not bother with LOTR: Conquest. Based on reviews I've read and other opinions about the game it's not worth the purchase. End War is considered a pretty good RTS that allows voice functioning controls but nothing mind blowing. Guitar Hero World Tour I've heard it pretty good. Just like Rock Band with multiple instruments to use, customize your own music and all the DLC. Resident Evil is definitely one of the most anticipated titles of 2009 with th advancement of the story and gameplay with co-op.
Overall, I'd recemmend Resident Evil 5. A great single-player campaign with replayability no doubt with unlockable weapons and features. Can play the game co-op with a friend.
I'm looking for a good hand held rayman game. I'm leaning towards rayman 3 for the GBA but i can only afford one game right now so I have to choose carefully. Any suggestions on what I should get?. Oh and I have a DS and down but I don't have a PSP.Vinder_DarkWolf
If you can, get Rayman 10th Anniversary which includes Rayman Advance(which is better than the Rayman version for the GBC) and Rayman 3 which I happen to believe are the two best Rayman handheld games. There was another Rayman game for the DS but it suffers from horrible camera issues and technical faults(is a port of the N64 version). So if you can get that, you've got the best of the best. But, between these two I'd honestly play Rayman 3 over Rayman Advance.
I need a good adventure game on PS2. Even though these are rgps, but FF X and F XII are ideal. Put aside the rpg elements, adventuring in the overworld, dungeons/caves then back to progressing in overworld. I don't particularly want another rpg as I've played many recently and need a break, so I need a good adventure game with the dungeons, overworlds, collecting items etc.
Cheers,

While the games are exactly what you're looking for (the dungeons'cave), they share a overwolrd theme where you discover sub areas. Ico is like this with many different part of the castle are connected to the main centrail area. Shadow of the Colossus is probably the ideal game having you cross vast lands on a horse armed with a bow and a sword to places like caves to find the colossus dwelling in the area. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver has you going to temples and solving puzzles and fighting enemies. Primal has a main area with a bunch of alternate universes connected with it so basically sub areas and you get to explore caves and that such. It's surprisign how difficult it is to think of a game that just lets you explore dungeons or caves without having it to be a RPG but this is the best I could sum up for you.
EDIT: Beyond Good and Evil is as a ideal game right there with Shadow of the Colossus. If you like the Zelda games than you'l love Beyond Good and Evil.

Based on reviews and opinions I've read it's considered to be a great successor to F.E.A.R. with some mix feelings from the die hard fans of the original F.E.A.R. There are about 15 intervals with each lasting 40-60 minutes long. So it's a good length of a campaign I believe. You should try out the demo that it's in the Marketplace to see if you like it. If you're really considering the game, I don't think you can go wrong with F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.

Link
Here's a link to some gameplay of the game. It's a talkthrough and the link leads to part one. But, you can get a glimpse of how it plays and works. From what I understand, it seems to be an alright RTS. Has a neat concept but I can't vouch for the game myself. Nor have I really been able to come across any reviews of the game nor did Metacritic have the game listed. This is the best I could do. I really can't say to buy or not but the least I can do is lead you in the right direction by watching some gameplay.
No, didn't find any games based off the original book of The Lost World. I don't think they really got noticed until the films but even then the films interpret the books differently so.... yeah. Well, I hope watching some of the gameplay will help.
Ok, this is my situation: my gaming tastes are TOO MUCH DEMANDING for ALMOST ALL 7th gen games. In most of the cases, a game must give me such an excellent impression that I refuse to play anything slightly failing to satisfy me.
For you to all know, I have a Wii, a 80 GB PS3 (no BC), a PS2 & a PC able to manage basic gaming.
These are some of my tastes, according to genre:
-NO GAMES THAT ARE FPS, FPS-LIKE, OR FPS WANNABEs!!!! I don't like most third person shooters neither.
-Only a VERY few action/adventure/platformer titles appeal to me. I got tired of what I have of Jak & Dax, & I'm looking forward to Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier. I also hae DEADLY CREATURES, but it's too short & kinda empty for me.
-Only a VERY few fighters appeal to me. I'm only plaing BRAWL for the moment, considering to purchase Street Fighter IV.
-Only a VERY few racers appeal to me. I still play Jak X (the fastest feeling racing game I know so far), sometimes Mario Kart Wii (other people I know have it), maybe I'll buy Burnout, Motor Storm: Pacific Rift, Pure or Excite Truck.
-I'm getting into more traditional RTS RPGs (I'm limited by having a PS3). For the moment, I have OBLIVION (GotY Edition).
-I like a few turn-based strategy 4x games (Civ IV+expansion packs for the moment). Maybe I'll buy Civilization: Colonization or Spore.
-I'm not sure if to purchase games on the PlayStation Network, WiiWare or the Virtual Console. For that matter, storage space isn't troublesome for me so far.
-Puzzle games & most other games don't appeal to me.
Any recommendations based on this?

DragonxanderPR
Well DragonxanderPR, it seems like you're already pretty familiar of titles you seem interested and I must say all the titles you thought of picking up such as Street Fighter IV, Burnout or Motor Storm, Civilization: Colonization are great conisderations without a doubt.
-Well for platformers(such as the Jak and Daxter games) you might like Uncharted which is made by the same developers. Other platformers of consideration are the Sly Cooper games. Might want to check out Prince of Persia(the new one for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3). The Tomb Raider games might tickle your fancy if you're interested in platformers.
- Not much brawlers out there. Street Fighter IV is the big one right now. Perhaps you should check out Soul Caliber IV?
- Your consideration of Burnout: Paradise CIty and the Motorstorm games are the well established racing games that are worth getting. But you're well aware of that.
- Surprisingly, there haven't been that many great RPGs this year except for a few. THe PS3 doesn't have much of anything. GOthic 3 might be something that you might want to pick up. A lot like the lines of Oblivion.
- RTS having been making a comeback lately. I know Tom Clancy's EndWar is a good RTS. Using voice commands. THe Command and Conquer games are god as well. The Warcraft games are good as well or the Starcraft games. Most recently, Warhammer games have beeen pretty good as well.
- You should try buying games on both. The Playstation Network has some good titles from the original PSX that are pretty good that you can download. THeir PSN games are good as well such as Every Day Shooter(not an FPS). THe Virtual COnsoles allows you to play games from the Nintendo golden age such as Super Metroid, LEgend of Zelda games, past Mario games...etc. They're both well worth investing in.
Well, I hoped this helped. Most if these games can be found on the consoles with I few I sprinkled for the PC.
