Which racing game should I get for the PS3.I have GT5 Prologue already so don't mention that. I don't particularily like realistic games (didn't mind GT5P and don't like PGR). I love Most Wanted. Should I get NFS Undercover, GRID or Midnight Club LA. I'm leaning toward Midnight Club LA.

HiResDes

Since you liked NFD Undercover I think your best bet would be Midnight Club LA.

I would second this. Midnight Club LA is fantastic.

I've seen Left 4 Dead mentioned as a PS3 game a few times here in a couple different posts, and just wanted to point out that there is no PS3 version of that game.

which is the recent top multiplayer first person shooter game ????????

That's an odd way of forming your question. But of recently released first-person shooters, Killzone 2 may be your best bet if you have a PS3. Of course, it all depends on just how recent you want your recent games.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for an RPG, not a strategy RPG, that has a job cla ss system that isn't FFX-2 or FFV.

It doesn't HAVE to be a Job cla ss system - just something customizable while retaining uniqueness of identity.

To some to those who've complained, not everyone has the time to go to this board and answer all the requests. For a while back, I was picking up the slack in this board. It's not easy and it's an inconvience sometimes. I understand how frustrating it is not to be answered but yet get sent here time after to time for making topics asking which game to get. I'll try to visit this more often.

Question:

Would you rather buy Crystal Defenders R1 (Wii) and a NES vc game, or

Age of Booty (PS3) and Wild Arms?

Conjuration

I would get Age of Booty and Wild Arms... mostly because of Wild Arms. Age of Booty is definitely a much better game than Crystal Defenders even though I'm a hardcore Final Fantasy fan. That game can be pretty difficult and punishing. But, it's also over rather quickly and not worth the purchase.

I thought I was taking advantage of an opportunity to mess with you, I know tone is hard to convey over the web, but I was just kidding...But I understand how there could have been a misunderstanding, given that you do come off sounding like a jerk to me, even with the disclaimer.

Army of Two-Third Person shooter that emphisises on co-op through the game. Has multiplayer as well.

Call of Duty: World at War: WWII shooter that can support up to four player co-op in the campaign. Has multiplayer as well.

Crackdown: You're a superhuman agent that sort of plays like GTA. Can go through the campaign co-op.

Resident Evil 5: No multiplayer though, but is a good co-op game.

Saints Row 2: Co-op and multiplayer.

Kane and Lynch: Good co-op game and has multiplayer.

I used to play Army Men on the PC way back. Was a fun RTS but was a little hard for me when I was a lad. Since then, I never really played any of the other army men games, especially those on the GBA.

But... based on looking these two titles up:

I'd have to say pick up Turf Wars primarly because the two are basically the same game in terms of play style but Turf Wars has improved graphics. Both are mission based type of games within the range of 15+ missions and 5 difference locales.

Hopefully this helped you. I've never played these titles before on the GBA but if I had to choose, I'd go for Turf Wars if I could only pick one.

Ok I just want a good game to play for the 360. I like all kinds and varieties of games , I've been to gamestop and looked at everything didn't really see anything I liked. The only game I can eve think about buying is Fallout 3 but I was going to see what else people thought was good. A good action/adventure game would be nice right now, with a good amount of play time as well I don't want something that I finish really fast.

Fallout 3 is definitaly a title worth investing if you feel the fps/rpg is up your alley. There is a lot of replay value and can take up 60+ hours to complete the game just once. One of the games you can say you get a lot of bang for your buck.

In terms of action/adventure games, there aren't that many that last any good length amount of time. Devil May Cry IV is a good action/adventure game that takes anywhere of 8-10 hours to complete. But there are also multiple modes to go through and upgrades to get and the achievements. I've probably invested at the least 20-30 hours into that game either from just playing through the modes or trying to S-Rank the missions which is no easy feat. But, it can be a tad difficult but nothing that practice can overcome.

Resident Evil 5 is another worthy purchase. Good campiagn with lots of extra costumes/weapons/modes to unlock and reasons to play through the game more than once.

Overall: I'd suggest getting Devil May Cry IV or Resident Evil 5. If you feel a fps/rpg is something that'll tickle your fancy, I don't believe you'll be dissapointed with Fallout 3.

Cryostasis, I see a huge difference in people's opinion of it. I was looking for a horror themed PC game to buy from steam that will work on a cheap PC like mine. Atmosphere, longevity, puzzle-solving, and good story are mainly what i'm looking for. I am not partial to anything in terms of gameplay. Does Cryostasis fit what i'm looking for, or should I heed the warnings of the player reviews (which seemed to be more negative of the game)?

Thanks in advance

I need help. I'm usually into adventure/fantasy games, but I'm looking to get into first person shooters..I just have no idea where to start! I'm not new to them in general, but I've never really had the urge to play them myself (I watched others). Would Doom 3 be too advanced to start with? I've heard great things about it. Any advice?

Well, it really depends on your tastes and what sort of atmosphere you prefer. World War II titles such as Medal of Honor or Call of Duty if you like the whole "war" theme. If you're into sci-fi stuff, Halo: Combat Evolved would be a good choice. Doom 3 is a good choice if you like the horror/blood theme and going to hell and back. As for Doom 3 being too advanced for someone just jumping into a FPS for the first time, I'd have to say yes and no. Even though levels are fiarly linear in fashion, you do lose a sense of direction sometimes and quite a few of the enemies are a little difficult. Ammo can be pretty scarce sometimes as well. But, these are challenges that can be overcome and shouldn't be impossible. It's gonna take a little effort and conservation of ammo on your part. I'd recemmend a title like Halo or Call of Duty that are a lot more user friendly. Get used to the aspects of a FPS and then you should be prepped enough to go head strong into Doom 3.

These are just my suggestions.

Thanks, forgot to mention eternal darkness was like my favourite GC game back in the day haha. I think I'll buy twilight princess as after waiting this long I realize a wii would be a bit of a waste of money in my case (unless they come out with another zelda or 2, which will be painful for me if they do lol) I've definately gotta check out Okami/shadow of the colossus as I've heard a bit about it alot though. Played kotor 1, and legacy of khain blood omen + defiance. Been meaning to ask, does anyone know if Vampire the masquerade: bloodlines is memorable? It's $20 (in CAD itll cost a little more), but I can get something like Mass Effect for the same price lol, not sure if its worth it. Anyone have any other suggestions? Just remembered I've gotta get on God of War, but then again I don't have a ps2 (had one but my dad gave it away to some woman >:| for her kids since I wasn't using it..ARG)

If you're looking for a good story, God of War is certainly the ticket. I don't think I know of a game with a more gripping storyline. Buy a new PS2 if you have to - it's not like you won't get your money's worth. Two other examples quickly came to mind, though they don't meet all of your stated criteria: If you ever get a GameBoy Advance, try the Golden Sun duology, and if you ever get an Xbox 360, try Mass Effect. A drawback to the latter is that you have to put up with a pretty boring overall game to see the story. You could always try to find recorded story scenes on YouTube though.

Of the following, please pick 2 and give a reason why that game is good, not why it is better than the others. SWAT 4 Final Fantasy VIII Dawn of War 2 Fallout 3 Dawn of War Soulstorm I'm having troulbe choosing. I'm not sure if I have a preference.

Hi everyone! I just bought the Xbox 360 Elite! I have a few games (Halo 3, Oblivion, GTA), but I am looking for some games that have puzzles within. The only examples I can think of are similar to Resident Evil, MYST, &Tomb Raider. I enjoy the kind of games where you have to move things, figure out a puzzles, how to get inside locked rooms, collect items (keys, tools, or other trinkets) to use them later. I also enjoy fighting, killing, and role-playing. While the entire game doesn't have to be completely puzzle (like MYST), please recommend similar games. I don't care when they were released.

I heard the Street Fighter series has great fighting. Bioshock might satisfy your need to kill stuff, but it has a handful of RPG elements. Mass Effect is one of the best example of an RPG in recent times. If you like puzzles, take a look a the new Prince of Persia. It has some exploration value and it's pretty fun.

I'm considering getting a soccer game. I don't really play any sports games, and am not a big sports fan in general. Soccer is a little intersting to me, and I think I may be able to enjoy a soccer video game. But I'm not really sure what is the best option. FIFA or PES? Would you reccoment the must current year, or a previous year? Is there another soccer brand I'm not aware of that may be a better choice? Would you get it for the 360 or for the Wii cause its motion controls are much better? Or would I be better off getting a light fun game like super mario strikers? And if so what, of if you say go mario, would you just get the gamecube game, or would you go for the wii game cause is it better with imporivements and good controls? So, yeah, what do you think?

Should I get gears of war 1? How's the online community in it? Is it true that it's one of the worst?

I'm looking to play a RPG on either the gamecube or PS2. Have never played one before. What should it be? I'm playing too many games on the PC right now to start playing a RPG on it. Thanks in advance.

Any advice?RedQueen20

I'm kinda in the same boat. Mostly fantasy/adventure and jRPG's. I think Bioshock may be a great place to start.

Also, thought I never thought I'd say it. I just started the first Halo game, and am actually enjoying it quite a bit. So, you may wanna give that a go too. I think its a great place to start for begginers like us ;)

manningbowl135: I recommend Tales Of Symphonia for the Gamecube, It's one of the best games for it and has a great story.

zeorshadow19: Gears Of War 1 is a very good game but the online community can be a bit ruf to put it simple. GOW2 is the better of the two however.
