Ok I just want a good game to play for the 360. I like all kinds and varieties of games , I've been to gamestop and looked at everything didn't really see anything I liked. The only game I can eve think about buying is Fallout 3 but I was going to see what else people thought was good. A good action/adventure game would be nice right now, with a good amount of play time as well I don't want something that I finish really fast.

Hmm... try Assassin's Creed

Chello, I was watching Turn Based Game vidoes like Final Fantasy 10, Lost oddesy on youtube, and it seems pretty complicated, I am use to RPG games like Kingdom Hearts or Infinite Undiscovery even PC mmos like W0W and stuff. I would like to get into Turn Based RPG games, and was wondering what are some beginner games like that? Nothing to over the top hard, something thats easy to learn or takes a bit to learn then you are pro at it lol.. Turn based games can't be that much harder then games like WoW or Kingdom Hearts can it? But yeah Please recommend away!

I would like a PS3 game with a great atmosphere, one that gets me sucked into the game and makes me feel as if I am in it. I have played Bioshock, Oblivion, Fallout 3, The Darkness...the key word is atmosphere...any suggestions?

I'd stick with Fallout 3, Assassin's Creed repetitive nature turns a lot of people off including me, and as such Fallout 3 is a much safer bet...I'd also check out Mass Effect (which plays somewhat like an action-adventure game) and or GTAIV.

Systems? Well I know you have a 360...Last Remnant and Lost Odyssey are the best turn-based games on the system, but if you have a PS2 sky's the limit.

Dead Rising or Red Faction Guerrilla?

Used to have dead Rising, loved it, but it broke while back. I loved it, but I also love Destructable environments, and Red Faction may feel a lot more fresh (and I liked the demo) so which one should I get?

thanks in advance

I second Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I remember looking online for copies (before I got the XBLA copy) and they were fairly rare. Excellent game though.

Definitely Red Faction: Guerrilla. The pure destructability of the buildings is simply put: "amazing".

Well, I take it you like platformers. I'd recemmend Gex. A very humerous title that blatently rips off themes from movies. There are 3 in the series and no more.(all on the PS1)

I'd also recemmend Spyro as well. Perhaps Metal Gear Solid would a good choice as well.

Civilization Revolution on PS3 is sorta similar, but not as focused on city building. The upcoming Little King's Story on the Wii might also be worth a look. Neither game is really close to Sim City, but they might be as close as you can get... oh, and I think the SNES Sim City is available on the Virtual Console.

Tough choices indeed. If it was my call, I'd choose Prototype for it's over the top action/gore and shape shifting abilities. It's the sort of game that appeals to me. You feel really powerful and that you can take on anything.

Though, inFamous is also good game as well. I like the climbing that is like Assassins Creed and the atmosphere the game gives off is very stylish. Shooting electricity from your hands and all the sort of abilities that plays off of it is pretty cool. Unfortunately, I thought it was a little annoying he had to recharge every once in a while but it's minor. Choosing morality desicions is also a nice touch and I like the difference that it warrents at least two play throughs.

My call is for Prototype. Try to watch some gameplay vids at of both games when you go to youtube and see wich title suits your tastes. Both are excellent titles that bring different experiences all together.

I'm considering getting a soccer game. I don't really play any sports games, and am not a big sports fan in general. Soccer is a little intersting to me, and I think I may be able to enjoy a soccer video game. But I'm not really sure what is the best option. FIFA or PES? Would you reccoment the must current year, or a previous year? Is there another soccer brand I'm not aware of that may be a better choice? Would you get it for the 360 or for the Wii cause its motion controls are much better? Or would I be better off getting a light fun game like super mario strikers? And if so what, of if you say go mario, would you just get the gamecube game, or would you go for the wii game cause is it better with imporivements and good controls? So, yeah, what do you think?

YoBrandino
I came accross FIFA Street 3 on the 360 now. Would you rocommend it or something else? Imostly interested in 2 player offline/same consle play. Are there any soccer games where you can either play against each other or you can even play with each other on the same team?

I've got $35 and I'm trying to decide if I should get Ghostbusters for PC or Dead Space for 360. Both games look great and I just can't decide. I know the games are pretty different and that's also making my decision more difficult. Can anyone help me out?

Not for download, but they are re-releasing them for the Wii under the Resident Evil Archives brand. Which I believe are basically the gamecube versions with tweaked controls. Resident Evil comes out this week, and then Resident Evil 0 is next on the list. I don't know what exactly has been confirmed after that if anything.

So, simular to the New Play Control Pikmin which is already out and Pikmin 2 is coming later, then the Metroid Prime Trilogy witch updates both Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2 with Wii controls and includes Metroid Prime 3 all in one set coming in August.

Dead Space without a doubt. If you're a fan at all of Resident Evil 4, you will love this game. This is my game of the year of 2008. Honestly, this is a must buy. It's awesome.

Bioshock is probably a better choice. I'd wait till F.E.A.R. 2 drops in price till your purchase it. Still a great game though.

yes TF2 is only online but it also has Portal, HL2, HL2 EP. 1, and HL2 EP. 2. which are singleplayer offline. if you havent played HL2 dont miss out. it is an amazing experience. you dont need to play the original HL to get the storyline. but it does help to know a few facts

To those who own both: L4D or Killing Floor?

I have heard great things about L4D from friends who play it on 360 and have been looking to check it out. However I am also a big fan of Tripwire Interactive and what they did with Red Orchestra. I really loved that game and was a very dedicated player. Now I find out their "Game 2" is also a co-op survival horror game which is getting solid reviews and will most likely have some good mod/map support. What sucks is I can only afford one right now.

I really like the realistic gun play that TW brings and the perks sound nice as well. I know that with L4D I will have no problems finding people to play with at anytime. However I also know L4D2 will be out later this year.

If you could only buy 1 today which would you get and why?

Thanks in advance for your time and any help.

I've never played both but it already seems like you've made up your mind about both titles and would prefer to play Killing Floor.
