I'm looking for a game that you are a soldier or warrior in your own army. I have played Mount n Blade and i dont like that game. I'm basically looking to command my army yet be able to actually fight along side my army. I dont care what time period although a medieval time period would be best. i have a PS3 and a PC (Prefer PC). thnx in advacne!

EzioAuditore

Not too sure, but you may want to look into Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War for the PS3.

What's the best free online MMO? It has to be age appropriate because I have a younger sibling that watches me play.

Runescape was pretty good if you can get past the terrible community and constantly being called a noob for no reason. it takes a while to get used to and also has $5 a month membership if you really get into it. theres virtually no blood, theres a censor to block any profanity(very strict) and alot to protect you from being scammed out of you stuff. but dont forget its community is absolutely terrible, people will hate you simply because your as good as them so you'll probly have alot of trouble finding any help. site is Runescape.com

Hey! no one suggested anything for me!

FPS with lots of guns

RPG with a good/bad/neutral, karma/reputation system

and theft, preferably the ability to rob banks and such.

NOT; Fo3, Oblivion, Morrowind (loved em' though), or GTA

My summer has been filled with disappointing games. I need a really good one to cap it off! Should I get Super Mario World or Chrono Trigger (both the portable versions)?

Call of Duty 4 has awesome multiplayer, and still many people to play online with. I'm playing it online now on the PC.

There's also Call of Duty World at War. I haven't played it yet, 'cause i'm kind of tired of WWII games, but I've heard it's pretty good too.

OK, I want a game for the PS2,. that will either take about 2 months to play or that I can play and play and play again and again. But the main criteria is that I will play it for about 2 months.

Also I would like the game to have:
- Good Story or Replay Value
- Good Graphics
- Fun to play
- Preferably a Shooter but something with good gameplay/action would be still good
- Any other features that make an outstanding game.

I thought about getting GTA Vice City, which I can get for £4 down my high street, but dont know if it is a very good game for shooting and graphics coz some people say they arent the best, but is this the kind of game I should get do you think?

Which games best fit my criteria which you think are really good and will last me a good 2 months.

Please Help me find a game like this coz I really need one to spend some good time playing. Thanks

Borderlands sounds nice for you, though I'm not sure about theft.

Hi guys, I looking for a game that is for PC and multiplayer and that is very tactical in the sense that teamwork is a must and not just run and gun but instead thinking things out is a better approach. I dont care if its first person shooter or third person. I'm just looking for something that is a little more slow paced and perferably no-respwan, and i dont care if it old aslong as its not like from the 90's, thnx in advance!

I'm looking for casual games to run on a laptop; rpg or strategy, I've already played Plants vs Zombies and World of Goo and I didn't really like Braid.

Thanks.

It's not new, but I suggest Divine Divinity. A sequel to the game is coming.

Ok, I want to buy a few new games for various platforms and need advice of all the gaming guru's here!

Which of these should I buy (My budget is limited to about $120):

- Preorder Modern Warfare 2 ($60)

- Preorder Flashpoint: Dragon Rising ($60)

- Buy Batman: Arkham Asylum ($45)

- Buy Little Big Planet ($30)

- Buy Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway ($20)

- Buy Infamous ($60?)

- Buy Prototype ($60?)

I really want to get lots for my money so that I don't have to buy new games for a while.

Modern Warfare 2 and LBP if you want fun with friends or Flashpoint if you want another shooter, albeit completely different from MW2.

All the other games are story only so you would get the most back with your buck with those since they have online. Arkham Asylum is worth a buy as well because it is awesome if you love Batman but a rent could be just as good for it. InFAMOUS is a lot better than Prototype and it actually has some replayability because the Good and Evil story lines are very different. Well at least that's what I heard. I've only done Evil.

I would go with Batman: Arkham Asylum and Prototype, personaly. But Little Big Planet may be a good choice too, and you could try to max your volume aith your price. So, Batman, LBP, and Brothers in Arms would put you under or Batman, LBP, and Prototype or one of the shooters would only put you over about $15.

I'm looking for a good rpg for my laptop. I recently completed both fallout 3 and Oblivion and I'm now a fan of rpgs. I came across several rpgs at gamespot but just want to play one of them due to lack of time because of my studies. The following is the list of those games:

Mass Effect

The Witcher Enhanced Edition

Risen

Dragon Age Origins(Preorder)

So which one should I get from the above list?

So I got Fallout 3 Regular Edition last week unopened from Toys R Us last week. Was wondering if I should keep Fallout 3 Regular Edition or trade it in for Borderlands? They currently don't have the GOTY Edition so I can't trade it in for that.

FINAL FANTASY IV which system should I choose

Well I have a ps2 GBA and my sis DS I was wondering which version I should get? I saw a couple videos of the game play on the DS and it kind of looks lame there, will my opinion change after continuing to play it. Also I haven't played Chrono Trigger that comes with IV on the PS1 but I know that the GBA version has updated graphics and Ill be able to take it on the go, which would be the best choice to get?

Hey I have some cash to spend and I'm trying to decide betwwen Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend and Borderlands?

I enjoyed Fallout 3 so I'll probably enjoy Borderlands too. I loved Uncharted so Uncharted 2 is a must have for me. I played the demo of Brutal Legend and it was fricking awesome! I'm kind of leaning towards Brutal Legend at the moment.

Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a good First-thirdperson game for my PC, I've gotten a bit tired of Star Wars Battlefront, should I get the second, or go for another game?

I'm looking for it to be cheap enough.

Well, it looks like your decision is only which one to get first. So, doesn't really matter. I'd probally get Butal Legends first since its most likely the shortest of the three. Then Uncharted 2, and then Borderlands if you still want it then.

So I'm really low on money but am dying for a new game (not really new release, but new to me) - so an cheap old game would be great. I just shook my addiction to WoW and am looking for a good RPG to get addicted to. Preferably not an MMO, cause those cost lots of money :( Only PC games though as my 360 overheats within 5 minutes grrrr

thanks guys

for PS2, modern shooter. I'm looking at SOCOM 3, Killzone, and Black. Which one?

Keep in mind that I don't play online, so there has to be some single player substance.

Ok I got a bit of a dilemma here. There are so many options in terms of games this year. However, when has there not been too many options? Anyway, I am trying to figure out which of these games I could get. They all got positive reviews all around the net. Here is the list: (btw, I already have COD MW2 and Uncharted 2. Those are givens.)

1. infamous

2. batman arkum asylum

3.Assasian's Creed 2

4. new super mario (wii, not DS)

5. ratchet and clank a crack in time

6. brutal legend

7. resident evil 5

8. wii sports resort

9. dragon age orgins

This is so much already. It is really hard to decide. Any suggestions? The two most important factors when choosing is gameplay and longevity. Especially the longevity, since I could just rent the game if it does not last a while

If anything you should get Uncharted 2, now I'am being biast, but Uncharted 2 has a great story line and action/climbing/puzzles. Though Brutal legend is a mexture of killing things and guitar hero, and borderland is like fallout 3, but i don't think it will have a deepish story line like fallout 3.

Personally I cannot decide which is better, MW2, AC2 or Uncharted 2 because these three game are neck-and-neck in popularity and hype. Since all three are out already, I just want to see what you guys think.

I think MW2 and Uncharted 2 will have more reasons to keep playing them long after you've beaten the single player since they've got co-op and online play, but AC2 is a fantastic game. Out of the three, I personally think Uncharted 2 is the best bang for your buck, but MW2 and AC2 are great games.

The PS2 has nothing special that the Wii doesn't, so go for the Wii.

The PS2, PSP, and Wii are more or less identical, except for a few extras. I don't think the PS2 has anything special.

I finished MW2 single player, I am not too good on multiplayer so its hard to keep playing. Went back and finished 2 older games I never finished and need something new. I can't decide between Borderlands or Dragon Age Origins. Possibly Assassins Creed 2 but I lost interest in the first before finishing it and traded it in. Any opinions on these would be appreciated.

Believe it or not, but in Assassin's Creed 2, Ubisoft eliminated the repetition that was in Assassin's Creed. It really improves on everything the first game did right, and gets rid of the things that it did wrong. Borderlands is ok, but the story is pretty uninteresting and the missions can get a little old. I've played about 14 hours of Dragon Age, and if you liked other BioWare RPGs, it is a really great game. Of those three, I personally think AC2 is the best, and that Borderlands is the worst, but they are all really good games.

So apparently I made my post in the wrong thread originally. So! I'm trying to find a new game to play, preferably an old school type of turn based game, such as Lost Odyssey, Last Remnant, FFVII, blah blah blah. I honestly wish Breath of Fire would come out with a new game that matched the old ones, like III...which was friggin' amazing. Anyway! I've gone through huge lists of games on GameSpot and I'm really sad to see the old style of JRPGs falling away. I have a backwards compatible PS3, Wii, and a 360 - Suggestions?

Have you played the Persona games on the PS2? Persona 3 and 4 have a very old school battle system while still having a very fresh story.

I actually own Persona 4 because I had a friend say it was good. That was of course before I found out it was essentially an anime. Ya know, high school kids find out they're special, which I'm not...horridly adverse to. The issue comes in when they try to tell everyone to accept themselves and that everything is okay. I just wound up being a little disgusted with the game and highly lost interest in the story as it seemed to lose all of its flair. So with all that aside! I'll add in that though Last Remnant didn't exactly have all that great of a story, I still like that. Feed me the same old snack in a new package and I'll eat it right up.

Bump - Really hoping to hear something >.> As it stands I've been playing Pokemon Fire Red...which don't get me wrong, is fun, but I would rather play something else.

First I would have to reccomend you get a DS. There is plenty to suit your fancy. The PSP has some good offerings too that would be right up your alley for some old school jRPG games.

But here are some possible console suggestions taht may more loosely fit your tastes:

PS3: Eternal Sonata, Valkyria Chronicles

360: Enchanted Arms, Tales of Vesperia

Wii: Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, Dragon Quest Swords, Opoona, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Phantom Brave, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Then, you should take a look around the Wii's Virtual Console. Then at GameCube games like Baten Kaitos, Baten Kaitos Origins, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and Tales of Symphonia. And finally, the option of PS2 games is practically endless.

Greetings. I'm just about to be on Christmas break from university and I'm totally jonesing for some game time. The problem is, I need a new game. I have a PS2 for the time being (though I desperately want a backwards compatible PS3 just so I can play Assassin's Creed II, it's not in the budget at the moment so the compromise is I get a new game or two for my PS2). I really enjoyed God of War I and II as well as Metal Gear Solid Subsistence. I thought that Champions of Norrath was ok but not as great. I like action/adventure games with a good story line and tight graphics/animation. I do NOT like turn based combat. I prefer they not be any bloodier than GoW but that's not a major criteria. Any thoughts? Thanks. - Max

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew any good Real Time Strategy games which are cross-platform compatible; specifically Mac to PC Multiplay. I would like to be able to play an RTS game with my friend who owns a mac but it seems that no RTS games support multiplayer cross-platform in this regard. Every one I have looked into says it doesn't support it. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Thank you. ______________
