:lol:... we need to come to an agreement on settings. We'd race a lot more if we could decide. Those rain races were a ton of fun, and in general, we had some close races tonight. I like the shuffle mode.

man today was a lot of fun. they really need to start giving us cash for winning races online.

i had to do it manually. first i went into all the replays i had saved. took pictures there. exported the pictures on to the xmb. copied them on a usb. transfered them to my pc, then used tinypic.com to host them.

i am not sure which trophy he's talking about, but there is a trophy for winning a race by .001 seconds, and a trophy for rolling your car over, but i think it was steel who was airborne in that pic.

Those three are my favorites.

Here's my Lancia that I use for all the rally events. I think it is better than the proper rally cars:

My Murcielago looks cool, but I think the Lancia and the GTR outperform it by a longshot.

Last but not least, here is my Mine's GTR-34. It was my favorite in Prologue, but I think my other GTR is better this time around.

And a very good reason why EVERYONE should do the B-spec Miata race. So far it's the only "Hey, nice," prize car I've received out of a-spec or b-spec. Most of them are just silly cars for collectable purposes, it's nice winning something that I can actually race with:

Got his Criterion C4 WRC rally car as well. I'm glad i didnt buy it for 850K credits. Got it for free. yay!

i am on right now, and am up for osme hot GT action till midnight EST.

We need to settle on some sort of agreement regarding assists and penalties for all our races beforehand. SteelAttack

i think strong penalties are too harsh. i am ok with Weak.

As for assists, we MUST have Skid Recovery Force on, otherwise the cars would be impossible to handle.

Crazy how this old '62 Buick is my fastest car of my collection (I'm not a car expert by the way). It smokes through everything unless there are tons of turns, argh! I'm so close to finishing a racing tier, but there's always one race that I'm missing, and it always seems to be the Japanese cars for some reason... why are you giving me such a hard time Japan? Oh well, the quest for a good old car that I can use continues.

By the way, that X1 looks crazy. The way it handles those turns... wow.

If you want, you can borrow my DOME-ZERO. It's tuned enough so even my dumb AI B spec driver could win that event. SteelAttack

I now have three B-Spec drivers - Eriksson, Cannon, and Wolf. Eriksson is my most experienced, although he still manages to suck it up when racing anything that isn't 50% faster than the competition. Cannon and Wolf are just awful - though to be fair Cannon's first race put him in a Shelby Cobra with 500hp, so the natural B-Spec instinct to spin out in corners was magnified ten-fold by that beast of a car. I'm also to the point now at level 16 where I feel like I need to grind to complete. I have the rally challenge open now, but it's more frustrating than fun, and I'm stuck on the Lambo touring challenge because its lights are useless and the level seems way too dark (I can't see a goddamn thing even with my TV's brightness cranked up), so I'll either have to cave and turn on the driving line or just grind out a bunch of races. The British Lightweight race seems to be my current best money/time race, as three minutes nets me $25k (and a pathetic amount of experience).DJ_Lae

i had a lot of problems with that lambo race. a lot. i just couldnt control the car, was too fast, it was too dark. i barely finished 5th and moved on.

That said, i just tried it again, switched up the assists. (5 traction, ASM on, Mild Active Steering) and easily came third. One thing to remember is that there are at least 4 blind corners that you must navigate without screwing up. I feel that if you can master those, it's an easy gold.

Also dont break too often with that car, simply let go off the gas, it will skid a bit but wont spin out.

I finally got my S License! Life is good. I think I'm going to work on finishing off the Expert and Extreme events next.

Good luck with Nascar. they are infuriating. I bought a 500K Nascar all excited and around ten tries later, i said f**** it and rage quit the game.

The challenges are even worse. One minor bump and you are out. Try taking over 10 cars in 2 short laps without bumping a single one.

Edit: I'll probably skip the advanced Nascar races. It wouldn't be so bad if I was actually racing rather than training for said race. Feels like you have to be a little too perfect to handle those challenges.

That 458 italia is a thing of beauty. The thing basically drives itself. I easily beat all five of the last Professional Event races with Golds. Driving it was such a relaxing experience. God i love this car.....if it was legal i would marry it!

Also unlocked the ending credits. It's true. I have beaten my first Gran Turismo game. :lol: (i did get all Golds in all the races of the first three events, so that's gotta account for something.)

edit: holy s***! The Bugatti Veryron i won has 957HP. Forget the 458 italia, i think I've found true love.

what car are you using for the Expert series event with 900hp+ opponents?

Also, i need a japanese car that handles as well the 458, or something close to it. I need it for the japanese event in the Expert series. I've already won like ten 500HP japanese cars from various events, so i probably own one already. Wish i had won a Skyline though.
