Speaking of Single player. I have probably repelled Ceadus 10+ times and slain him 5+ times, and I still don't have that cursed Dragongem :x. Curse you 2% drop rate T_T.

You're doing it all offline? Try it online. Though it might take a while to reach high level. But Rathian plate is so much easier to get in high level quests. And some people are willing to do Rathian n times in a row, so it'll be easier.

As for Ceadeus. I feel you. Got tired of it.

BTW, Barioth armor on a male character looks cool. IMO.

I feel your pain CcJ, that Rathian Plate eludes me, I just got the Thunderclap so it makes fighting Rathian even easier, but its still annoying that my complete set is beyond me by one little item. I just did two straight captures of the Rathian and got nothing for it. Sepewrath

Best way to get it is to cut off the tail and pray u get it on the carve

Idk, like I said I usually play at all times of the day. I usually play on the Expert or Recruiting server so look for me there :P.

Yeah I often create female characters in RPG games, Fallout, ME, etc. Also the female models in Tri look better than the males; case in point:

Male armor blows away the female armor. It looks like a true warrior, while the female looks like she's missing the helmet. At least she's not wearing some skimpy outfit though. *coughninjagaidencough*

I'm in Chicago on Central Standard Time (CST) for those of you in NA. UTC-6 for everyone else.

Right now it's 1:11 am CST. So that's 2:11 am Eastern (New York) and 11:11pm Pacific (Los Angeles)

I'm online usually between 12midnight CST to 3am. Sometimes I play in the morning, 7 am to 10 am.

There are more than two "Icarus"? Only saw one of them. LOL. And we all play at the same time?? O_O

Philippines to be exact. I have an NTSC Wii. So I play NTSC games. Besides, I think they only sell NTSC games here, imported from the US. Most imported things here come from the US. I guess we go online almost at the same time. That's 2pm-5pm. and 9pm-12mn.

I have tried atleast 6 times today and haven't found ONE! But I found3 Wyvern Stones. WTF! :x Thats a 2% quest reward chance. as opposed to the 14% chance after destroying the lanturn. This game hates me :cry:. Why can't I get that lucky with the Deep Dragongem? :cry: :x

uuugh... i need to go to this stupid tundra to get stupid isisium to upgrade my stupid buster sword+, but stupid tundra isn't available on stupid 1* quests, and i forgot to do the stupid fishing quest online >_> /rant and i want a better looking set... my jaggi set makes the qurupeco's blow-up attack nearly 1HK... BTW... how to i improve my life bar? isn't it by using the accessories that upgrade your health skill? sure, i only have "health+2", but it should've improved at least something...BrunoBRS

Eat. Meat+Dairy. Meat+Drink. Both give health. Dunno about other combos, look at the guide in the wiki. As for the armor skills, you should have 10 skill points for it to improve. That applies for most skills (others require 15 skill points). If you want to improve health, you should have Health+10 to get 20 health (yeah I know, confusing, other skills aren't that confusing). Health+15 to get 50 health bonus.

Look at my skills.

Negative Precision (Steadiness-1) isn't activated since I only have -5 skill points. If you have a skill that has a negative effect (-10 points), adding 1 skill point will suffice to deactivate them. In my case, Heat Surge has -11 skill points, so I need 2 skill points to make -9 to deactivate it.

You have to get their materials before they're available. Chances are, you haven't got the materials yet to craft new weapons. There's a Qurupeco hammer.

Look here for the materials. AFAIK, you need to have the first material for it to appear.

How do I unlock new weapons to be crafted? I want to try the other stuff (been sticking with SnS this whole time), but the only ones available from the artisan are the beginner weapons. I crafted a couple of hammers and upgraded them as far as I had materials for, but it didn't unlock any new hammers for crafting.Michael-Smith

Like Bruno said, you have to use materials you get from hunts to build weapons. You get access to the switchaxe during the Level 3 quest and you get the Long Sword when the Argosy captain comes back during the level 4 quest.

Bruno, Jaggi gears big weakness is against fire, your better off just wearing standard hunting gear than that. Besides eating meals to raise health, which the best combo for raising health is Gold Rice and Dragon Tail/Dragon Head which raises both health and stamina. You can keep the health up for the whole mission as long as you don't get knocked out. But if you do, you can use nutrients to extend your health bar during a mission. Personally I don't use slots for health increases, I just use the meals, I use my slots for offensive or defensive abilities. When you stats to increase your health, or anything for that matter you don't see any results until you get +10. For health 10 gets you I think a 20% increase and 15 gets you 50%
