[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]Jordan, just to be sure the people who do April fool's threads are banned and then followed to the next forum they sign up to and banned from there too right?JordanElek
Actually we come to their house and ban them from there. Don't ask how it works or what the consequences are... that's just what happens.
Man I hate April fool's day in a forum. Everyone is just so smart and cleverJaysonguy
I love April Fool's Day because some people actually are smart and clever. Sure, there are the duds, but how is that different from any other day in the forums? ;)
The only joke I almost fell for today came from one of my coworkers. To me and another guy, she said, "Now I don't want you guys spreading this around or anything, but... I'm pregnant." I said, "Uh oh!" and the other guy said, "That's not good!" Joking, of course. Then she said, "And it's not Chad's (her husband)." The other guy said, "That's really not good!" and I just half chuckled because I didn't know what to say, then it clicked that she was joking. A split second later she yelled "April fools!!!! AHAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" We both laughed with her. Good times were had.
If it were "April Fool's Month," I'd hate it. But since it only lasts a day, it's awesome. Gamespot's front page today was ridiculously awesome. My favorite part was the Endless Ocean "endurance" tournament. You gotta love that. I've hassled Jody a couple times about never having Wii tournaments, so that made my day.
I was planning on waking up my girlfriend from her sleep last night by running into the room, handing her our cat and yelling "there was an earthquake warning on TV! We have 30 seconds to get out of the house!"
Then I thought better of it, mainly because in Vancouver right now they have released a warning that there might be an earthquake this month, and everyone knows the story of the boy who cried wolf.
