Exactly... the builder that we are going with has two different classes of floorplans... one is cheaper per square foot and you can get a really big house for not too much money but its as basic as it could be... The other (what we went with) are smaller houses but they have raised 10 foot ceilings, receded lighting, better counters, a fireplace and so on. Its not a small house (its between 1450 and 1500 square feet) but the choices we made (the rock on the outside, the bay window in the dining room, and so on) gave us a house with more character instead of just a huge house.

And I'm sorry you're sick. If it's any consolation, I don't sleep until 5 or 6 in the morning usually, so you're not alone. :)

Apparently nobody filled out a bracket. :? I know I didn't. I never keep track of college basketball until March, so I never have any idea what a good bracket would look like. The only thing I know for sure is that if Notre Dame makes the tournament, they'll lose in the first or second round. The only ND game I watched all year was their last against Washington State, and it was one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. Almost as bad as their football team last season.... :|

But this year I haven't watched any full games even in the tournament. That'd be different if I had cable in my room.

Well, a couple of days ago, my Wii wouldn't read any discs. The next day, miraculously, it red everything I fed it. Now it's giving me frantic disc read errors, making me reboot games repeatedly.

So, I called Nintendo, and I'm gonna have to send it in. It's a shame to be Wii-less all Spring Break, but at least I can use this opportunity to get my GHIII disc remastered (and a free faceplate!).

Have you guys heard of a game called N+ (The Way of the Ninja)? It's coming out for the DS and PSP soon (possibly WiiWare in the future???) and it's already out on the 360 Live Arcade.

Anyway, it's free for the PC already (albeit a beta-esque version). It's pretty sweet, check it out if you haven't already.

The only joke I almost fell for today came from one of my coworkers. To me and another guy, she said, "Now I don't want you guys spreading this around or anything, but... I'm pregnant." I said, "Uh oh!" and the other guy said, "That's not good!" Joking, of course. Then she said, "And it's not Chad's (her husband)." The other guy said, "That's really not good!" and I just half chuckled because I didn't know what to say, then it clicked that she was joking. A split second later she yelled "April fools!!!! AHAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" We both laughed with her. Good times were had.

If it were "April Fool's Month," I'd hate it. But since it only lasts a day, it's awesome. Gamespot's front page today was ridiculously awesome. My favorite part was the Endless Ocean "endurance" tournament. You gotta love that. :lol: I've hassled Jody a couple times about never having Wii tournaments, so that made my day.

Ok so here is a nice little off topic story about how I almost lost my house...

Yesterday (3/31/08 ) I was talking to my financial people that are doing my loan for my house. It was the first day that we could lock in our interest rate for the house loan since we are 30 days out from closing. We could lock in at a 30 day lock at 5.875 percent but the only problem is, if anything goes wrong in the next month and it takes longer than 30 days it will really mess everything up so I also had the choice to do a 45 day lock but the rate went up to 6 percent. I wasnt sure what to do but if I did anything it had to be submitted by 4 PM...so I figured I would just wait a week or two and hopefully the rates would stay the same and I could do a 30 day lock and be sure that it would be done in 30 days.

Well later that day we find out that as of April 1st the rules for FHA are changing to make it harder to get a loan. You now have to have a credit score of 580 or higher to get the loan that we are getting. I have an excellent credit score and it wasnt a problem for me but my wife has no credit so if we would have waited till today we would have lost our loan and lost our house.

We locked in our rate yesterday at 3:59 and 30 seconds with a 45 day lock (they gave us the cheaper rate, 5.875) because of the situation that just happened. All in all everything worked out but we were about 30 seconds from losing our ability to buy our house.

First of all, you're one lucky guy AG. If that happened to me, without question, I would be homeless right now.

Secondly, I had a weird dream last night. I went to EBGames and in the bargain bin was a PSone that had the same color scheme as the N64 controller. That's right, the PS system looked like the N64 controller. It even had the blue A button and the green B button, it had everything.

That was pretty much my dream. I just thought that I'd share that in my dreams I think Sony is an evil, monopolistic , money-hungry company.

You know that's always something that's made me wonder, is it because thsi site is in more places then just the US?

Because I know that US law allows copyright material to be used in forums because it falls under the same rules as a town hall and using material for demonstrative purposes. Pretty much if you're having a discussion about the material US law says it's fine.

I don't know what goes for laws in other places though. Like you may have to hand the queen a 5 pound note for ever page you use, I have no idea :P

That and the language of the magazine. It's all based on the fact that GS is based in the US. Copyright stuff is weird when the actual users are from all over the globe.
