everyone in the dunk contest should be between 6'4-6'8. anything bigger or smaller is usually not good. nate robinson should have won maybe one dunk contest, not 3 or however many he won. dwight howard has been the only exception for big men, thats why i think griffen flops, i dont see him winning, he's more of a game pace power dunker

Ā

best dunker since vince has been richardson i think and that was years ago, maybe iggy that one year he got robbed. i wanna see eric gordon, derrick rose and someone needs to sign white so he can get in on it lol

Heat almost lost to the Bucks just now. One of Milwaukee's players had 27 rebounds.

how have the Magic been doing lately? I haven't had time to watch any of their games, but I know they're on a 9 win streak right now. also I was looking at their stats during the Mavs game a few night ago, and I saw the score was pretty even until like the 4th quarter when Orlando started blowing them out. what happened there lol...

They've been playing great. Still room for improvement but the win streak speaks for itself. Gilbert is hardly in playing shape but he's great at pushing the tempo. I expect him to be a lot better later in the season. Ball movement has been the main improvement and you can credit a lot of that to Hedo. JJ has been shooting lights out since his slow start early in the season.

Hedo took over the 4th quarter vs. Dallas. Dallas got out to big lead early in the game because they were hitting all their 3's and we got it close by the time the 4th quarter started. Ā Hedo ended up with 17 assists...Ā

4th quarter highlights start about halfway in this vid. Magic are down by 3 at the start.Ā http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK1i1_dw1is

Jameer has been sucking lately... overdribbling, bad shots, missing open shots, not passing to the open man, bad D. And for some reason we are playing Gil less and less though he's been playing better than Meer.

Gilbert put up basically the same stat line as Nelson tonight with 0 turnovers in half the minutes.

I really would like to see Earl Clark utilized more to guard players like Durant. Hedo is fine for guarding players like Pierce but he's a little too slow for Durant. J-Rich ended up guarding Durant tonight but he's too short and Durant could shoot over him all night. Earl Clark at least matches up well.

ever since the trade Jameer has been sucking. He was doing fine before that but now that he's taken a back seat he's not as efficient anymore.Ā  He's not driving in as much too and is taking too many outside shots, he's hurting my fantasy basketball team :(

Three dumb plays by J-Rich in the final minutes. Jacked up a 3 about five feet behind the line, ran through a KG screen and committed an unnecessary foul, and fell for a Pierce pump fake leading to an and 1. Probably should've had Redick in the game instead.

Clippers are becoming kind of exciting to watch...Toriko42

they have been ever since Baron Davis came back from injury plus Eric Gordon is quietly averaging 24 points per game while Blake and Deandre Jordan are having in game dunk offs while being rebounding machines. They need to bench that molasses Kaman when he comes back from injury

I sincerely hope that the Clips stay bad so when griffin's rookie deal comes out we can persuade him to join us across the hall8).

But, that's just a dream of mine because they have a lot of quality talent. Gordon is a great player, so is DeAndre Jordan(Who I hate because he always seems to destroy the Lakers)Ā

Blake to the Lakers would be my ultimate dream. Man dude just dropped 47 points on the Pacers yesterday

Ā

good win by the Lakers yesterday, Kobe is playing really efficient and Pau contributed nicely with 21 and 7 boards along with Bynum who had a double double. Lakers are finally looking like the team of these past few years

I would like to see the NBA adopt a franchise player system like the NFL. Small market & bad teams have such a hard time keeping their star players nowadays. Blake needs to stay with the Clipps, have a team built around him, and turn that franchise around. It would be horrible if he left them. How do bad teams ever expect to get good if the star players they draft keep leaving.

Ā

The Clippers have a bright future ahead of them if they do keep Griffin. Eric Gordon gets no love for whatever reason and he's been playing great all year too, So they have 2 sure pieces they can build around and if Donald Sterling isn't an idiot, like he has proved to be in the past then all should be ok in Clipper land.Ā  Realistically I don't see Blake leaving when his contract is up, this is the best player the Clippers ever drafted and they're going to give him that max deal

Ā

I think a few teams should go but all in all I think the NBA should adopt the NHL's salary cap. Seems like the best move. A franchise tag isn't a bad idea either.

Ā

Also, 6 teams in each conference should make the postseason, not 8.Ā

Sacramento, the Clips should move back to San Diego(As exciting as Griffin is, there's no way the Clips will ever win over LA, and moving to the OC is a bad idea because everyone down there are Laker fans anyway).

Ā

That's about it to be honest. The Hornets will probly leave NO(Which is sad) and I heard the Grizzlies might move eventually.Ā

get rid of cleveland and minnesota, those franchises aren't going anywhere anytime soon and no one wants to play there anyways. move the kings to vegas and clippers to san diego like halftime said. and then memphis and NO idk where they'd go. maybe seattle can get a team again.

and do away with conferences. the top 15 or however many teams make the playoffs regardless if they're in the east or west. just keep the divisions because the east always has some garbage team make it and a western conference team always gets screwed. also force donald sterling to sell the clippers. he is the one and only constant in all their years of being terrible, as long as he owns that team they will never ever do anything of significance.

rockets lose another game they should have won. were leading for a lot of the game and couldn't stop Z-Bo down the stretch after the refs called a terrible terrible foul on hayes which was his 5th. then we have a chance to tie it and aaron brooks jacks up a shot despite the fact that he was 0-4 from three and was just playing terrible all game long. should have given it to martin, dude was on fire

k-mart = that dude. ninjas should give it to him on every posession.

real talk, sac-town shoulda drafted rubio, kept k-mart, and drafted cousins. cousins down low, and kick it out to k-mart for the open shots.

i guess it makes sense to keep evans over k-mart in the long run because of age but still...i love k-mart.Ā

next to howard, noah is probably the best defensive big man in the league and he rebounds and hustles. if i had rose i whouldn't want melo for noah either. they need someone who will compliment rose, not one thats gonna take the offense away from him.

that's true, one of the reasons why D Rose didn't want Lebron on the bulls but Melo is a knockdown shooter and can create shots on his own something they desperately need. The problem with the bulls is they don't have a legit #2 option on offense. Boozer is not a legit #2 option. Rose has Brewer who can't knock down a shot to save his life and Deng on the other side of him who is inconsistent.Ā  Neither of those guys, can create offense on their own that's why their always standing around watching D Rose force up shots.Ā  If they stay with this roster, they're never sniffing the finals

yea i agree, they definitely need a guy to get the pressure off rose but i dont think melo is the answer. i mean they can get someone cheaper and younger in a guy like say oj mayo who has that potential, he's a good shooter and a good defender. i think that would be a better fit

Gilbert has been playing absolutely dreadful for a while now. Worse than Jameer who was also playing bad. Arenas looks unsure of himself and tentative... maybe he's just in bad playing shape and can't do the things he normally does... who knows.

[QUOTE="mems_1224"]next to howard, noah is probably the best defensive big man in the league and he rebounds and hustles. if i had rose i whouldn't want melo for noah either. they need someone who will compliment rose, not one thats gonna take the offense away from him.andyboiii

that's true, one of the reasons why D Rose didn't want Lebron on the bulls but Melo is a knockdown shooter and can create shots on his own something they desperately need.

I think an off season signing of J.R. Smith would do the Bulls a lot of good...They should work to acquire him as a legit SG
