Your idea of right and wrong (on this issue) isnt any less subjective, just because there are many other people who agree with you and because a religious text (which is deemed by some as an authority on morals) also agress with you.

I'm Church of England and we worship the same God as Catholics and also are extremely tolerant of gays on the most part. So much so that I could almost be branded as being one and yet none of my Church members want to scorn my faith because of it.Mind you we're hardcore compared to Catholics. Without confession we have to man up and live with our sins.

However due to the attitude towards homosexuality being generally tolerated for several decades now here in the UK (I mean in the open media and such) rampant homophobia is actually very rare compared to many parts of the world. I fully believe that attitudes towards this subject depend entirely on how an individual is raised. No child is born thinking anything is inherently wrong. They have to be taught such a thing in every instance.

Wouldn't you know, I came back to OT from a short hiatus to see if things got a little more fun wile I was gone... They didn't...
