I am clearly pro-choice.
Choosing a abortion isn't a simple decision that is taken on a whim, it is often emotially difficult and even painfull for the parents.
It is fair to assume that most parent think about their decision very well, if a couple concludes that they are not able to give their child a decent, fulfilling life then I choose to believe the parents.

Who am I to force those parents in labor, forcing them to give birth to a child in circumstances that aren't desired. These parent have a dream, they desire to give their child the best of the best, yet they are forced to give labor right now, taking the risk of destroying 3 lives instead of one.

Pro-choice. I'm Christian (but maybe not the most devoted one), but I think that people should have choices whether to kill their own fetus or not.

Pro-choice. I understand why the pro-life folks feel the way they do, but I don't think the pro-life position is realistic or socially responsible.

It's easy to fill up 23 pages with nonsense.

I find still find it utterly incredible how one can use arguments like "it has a heartbeat and human DNA" or "you weren't aborted!" or "women don't have the right to make decisions for a being that has no autonomy, siphons huge amounts of resources from their bodies and uses it as a habitat for 9 months" as the basis for a public policy decision which would overload an already stressed out adoption system, force thousands of women out of jobs and kill thousands more by making them turn to unsafe and unreliable methods of achieving their ends. Guess some people just don't have a civic mind.

Well, the thing is, when one is debating these issues without actually influencing law, they can sit there and ignore the likely consequences of their position.

pro life = pro crime.

sorry religious peeps but the statistics are plain to see, crime has dropped by record levels in the last 15 years because an entire generation of unwanted deprived children was never born to grow up and become criminals.

Pro-choice. No one should have a say on what decision we want to make when it concerns only our life.
