Honestly, I am surprised at those results, thanks for sharing. However, I still don't believe they are truly the most hated minority. I can say with a fair amount of confidence that if listed Scientologists, Neo Nazis, etc would probably recieve more hate.

your cool ydnarrewop . i just find it weird when people try to distinguish a person of atheist belief or a person of god belief. my free will allows me to be an atheist when i want to or a god believer when i want to. but then there are people that act like it is impossible for them to think like someone else. so i make crazy comments like i would kick a baby if i was atheist because i wouldn't have a god belief to hold me back. i know most atheist wouldn't kick a baby because deep down inside God still comforts atheists lol :)playmynutz

Yeah, that probably is true. It's kind of similar to the "half glass full" vs. "half glass empty." Even if Christians only think there is a 1% chance of God ever existing and rewarding them for their good works, they put their faith in that chance. Meanwhile, the atheist pawns over every reason he couldn't exist, and tries to eliminate any thought of the possibility of him existing from his mind, even if there is a slim chance that he might actually exist. It's kind of like a cancer patient who is told he has slim chances of living; the optimist would look at those numbers, and hope that *hopefully* he will turn out okay. Meanwhile, the skeptic would look at it, and think there was no way he would ever get better, and get depressed.the_plan_man

My teacher said people who dont believe in god,dont live as long as the ones who do. I think its true. Atheist people are always busy proving their belief is right. And they have stress from other people not accepting their belief. So like my teacher said "you gunna die"

Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, Singapore, some of the most notable athiest nations and regions are the longest lived in the world.

The famously non religious Scandinavian nations also on average live much longer than Americans.

only in America, in Japan and China, people are atheists by default, in Canada, a great percentage feel indifferent, so I wouldn't atheists are the most hated group, if they are, it's the narrow minded haters' fault, not their fault.

Atheists are most hated because look at history....theist groups hate the idea of people not believing in what they think is true, and burned them or tortured them for it. only until recently have people been more allowed to say "i'm an atheist" without being threatened or killed....although in some places this still happens.
