No you can't. You need expensive equipment, a field goal setup, etc. assuming we just talking about tossing the ball around. And NFL football is definitely growing across the pond. Whenever they league plays overseas the games sell out instantly.

Correct, you can play rugby any time, anywhere. But actual american football you need a ton of gear and an actual field setup.
