Do u feel bad for eating meat

I just never understood people that felt bad for eating meat. I mean, those type of people have to take vitamens for the amino acids that are found in meat so we're meant to eat the stuff. Plus animals eat other animals. Sheesh.LikeHaterade

The way I see it, the animal is already dead and cut into digestable portions. If I don't eat it, then someone else will. Therefore, it doesn't make a difference if I don't eat meat. The animal that I would have eaten will still be killed.

There's nothing wrong with eating meat. Do we need to? No, we can survive healthily from plants but the crux of this is this: we don't want to. Sometimes it's hard to wrap our mind around such an illogical argument, but we sometimes just do things because we want to; it's the nature of all living things, even Wolves.VoodooGamer

how would you all feel if you were raised only for food? being killed one by one, one next to another getting theyre throat slit open... we talk about the nazis and the genocide yea.. the thing we do with animals its even worse and even if theyre treated better it still aint right, i always put myself in the position of other animals to think about it.

Fine, you do that. But animals are not concious creatures, they don't in any way share our human concerns. They act out of instinct; some animals will kill us to eat themselves. That's the way it works. And they won't go to hell if they die, or ever miss having lived. (However, they will respond negatively to pain while being alive.)

We need not apply morals to creatures that don't understand them, and that we have close to nothing - if anything (if we're talking interests, which is what I care the most about) - in common with. I'm not raised only for food for another species, so how can you expect me to relate to the species that are, or to do something about it, when it means food for me and the people I care about?

You seem to imply that all is well for all humans in the world? Or do animals matter more to you than humans? Animals are a valuable food resource. You would still say it's wrong for a starving man to eat an animal, if that's all he had to choose from? I'm not saying he shouldn't have more to choose from, if that's his wish. His wish concerns me more than the animal's wish, as the animal cannot wish for anything and does nothing for me or the society I live in except as food. There's a pretty good chance that I can relate a whole lot more to the starving man, and that the starving man could relate to me, and that we could be of use to each other if we came together.

Who determines what is right? Who could, or even - who should? Not the animals for sure, because they cannot grasp concepts. Right/wrong in this case is an ethical concept, which animals cannot comprehend nor adhere to.They act out of instinct without regard for anything, and without moral dilemma.

they suffer just like us, i would like to see how would you fare in a slaughter house. i didnt said it wasnt natural they do the same thing. well ok.. i didnt say anything about animals being more important, you otherwise think humans are more important just because we think, was it right for you to be born and then feed until you were really fat and then bang dead its not fair, it was natural if we didnt control their births if we were in a jungle that was fair and natural.. the way we have right now just isnt right. well i guess humans dont go to hell aswell and dont miss being alive when theyre dead lol.youre starving you eat, thats simple but food is handed to us. youre statement that they dont do nothing for you and the society except as food is really selfish.. do we do something for their society? we are food to them as they are to us but that doesnt gives the right to do what we do with them, we are free, then they also should be.

there is although no problem with cooperation between species so it isnt wrong for you to take milk from a cow and taking eggs from a chicken (as long as they dont suffer) feed them and treat them well and its alright. i would never say that is wrong eating meat, but if people say the holocaust was bad, why cant this be just as bad?
