Does the majority of the people who know me consider me a good person? No
Is there a small minority of people who think I am one of the nicest people around? Very much so, they make it all worthwhile. :)

Actually, in the original Aramaic, the authors used a neutral word that did not denote God's gender, if my memory serves. It has simply come to be generally accepted as "he" due to the saturation of the world with Bibles in Latin (which lacks a sufficient neutral noun) due to the prevalence of the Catholic church for over a millenium.
