People who don't tip are scum of the Earth.ProudLarryTips are not guarenteed pay...hence being called a tip....if you do the appropriate job well...you get tipped...if you suck you don't.....
People who don't tip are scum of the Earth.ProudLarryI like being called scum so this gives me another reason to not tip. Thank you Larry
[QUOTE="cybrcatter"]If folks are too cheap to tip, then they should make their own damn food. Simple as that. TylendalI know, you'd think that they'd pay for food or something. Oh, wait. I tip, but I resent the idea of tipping being almost mandatory. They're just doing their job. No one ever tips the janitor, or the teacher, or the consultant.
The teacher and janitor are being paid a fair salary. For the waiter the tip is their pay.
Tipping a server is one thing but tipping the delivery man is questionable. Being that all they have to do is drive a vehicle and drop of the food. They don't have to do all of the BS that comes with being a server at a restaurant.
My sister is one of those people that ALWAYS complains about the service. It's never good enough for here. She doesn't want to tip.

Exactly, and that's a problem.[QUOTE="worlock77"][QUOTE="Tylendal"] I know, you'd think that they'd pay for food or something. Oh, wait. Exactly, and that's a problem. Also the teacher and janitor AGREE to work for salary without gratuities. The Waiters/waitresses agree to work for less than minimum wage and gratuities.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it illegal to pay anyone less than minimum wage? I thought that was kinda the definition.[QUOTE="MagnumPI"][QUOTE="Tylendal"] Exactly, and that's a problem.Tylendal

If it happens, however, that their tips add up to less than minimum wage the employer has to make up the difference. Even still, servers generally do a job that is, frankly, well beyond a minimum wage job. They should be compensated accordingly.

And those gratuities are decided by the customers. They will make at least minimum wage without tips from me.[QUOTE="MagnumPI"][QUOTE="Tylendal"] Exactly, and that's a problem.KHAndAnime
