My mom is in her 40s and she occasionally wears a bikini to the beach/pool. I hate it when I am with my friends at the beach/pool and my mom is there wearing a bikini, they always try to sit next to her and stuff to piss me off. Screw them, some of their mom's wear bikinis also but not many. Luckily now she doesn't come to the beach with us so it's only when they come over to swim in our pool, but not if my dad is there.

I don't know, I haven't been to a beach/pool with her in years and I don't remember what she wore when I was a kid, but I guess she could if she wanted to, I'd say she's good looking if I didn't know her so well...

I'd just like to throw in my two cents. I don't think it's a matter of the women being mothers, I think it's a matter of their ages. I wouldn't really mind if my mother did these things given that she was still young (twenties to thirties perhaps).

So what are moms supposed to stop being attractive? What are they supposed to wear a sweater all the time? Jesus I don't understand the idea that the older you get the more sexually conservative your suppossed to be. I mean not to go back to the peircing thing but most of you didn't object to it simply because it was a piercing you objected to it because it was on a mom who apparently once they turn 30 are suppossed to just cover everything up and live a life of modesty.

Fair enough. I just think that the important thing is self awareness, you should know whether you can pull something like a bikini or a piercing off. I can tell you right now that I would look quite unsightly in a Speedo, hence I do not wear those in public.
