[QUOTE="zero9167"][QUOTE="blackngold29"] [QUOTE="zero9167"][QUOTE="blackngold29"]"Emo fans wear dark clothes, practise self-harm and listen to "suicide cult" rock bands." - Wait I just read that again, and I must say that is one of the worst stereotyping statements that I have ever heard, and it's untrue to boot.blackngold29
would it fit this girl the hung her self? most stereotypes are there for a reason and there are people who fit them perfectly (most the people that just want to fit into that select group; more sterotyping harhar) First of all, Emo is a genre of music and a style of clothing, not a person who listens to it or wears them, respectively. That's fail 1. I don't wear any dark clothes and I'm sure I've listened to emo music before. Fail 2.
Not everyone who listens to emo or wears dark clothing hurts themself, I'm sure far from the majority. Fail 3.
What is a suicide cult rock band? It sounds like some phony news invention to scare parents. Any questions?
no."emo" has turned into a personality type some people strive for
being emo and listening to emo music is completely differen. yes, it is completely different. Do not try to correct me.
--dont try or start using "fail" just cause you were ... offended?
Is that it? Actually it's a word that's meaning has become twisted and skewed by people like you. Show me a legit source that says it is a type of person, or be quiet.LOL why do i need a source man?i know and knew lots of people like this, very close and personally. I know people that listen to emo music and DO NOT cut them selves. They just leave it at a genre of music, thats it. And then i know people who listen to the music and cut them selves or are not afraid to hurt them selves ectect; these are you should consider "emo's" as in a person not a genre of music.
There's a difference between an "emo" and a fan of emotional music. No reason for you try to be blind about it by saying "a genre of music kills its self harharharh"
