Least we won't be seeing many protest marches.Vandalvideo
 That'd be just too ironic to actually happen.
Some call it fat acceptance, I call it lazy fat people not wanting to diet.never heard of sizeism until today, but that's a damn good example
Sizeism? You must be kidding
Fat people like to complain a lot about how they have to buy two seats on a plane...well why shouldn't they. I pay 20 bucks for extra luggage, your 150 pound overweight body should also have to compensate since that is the size of a normal human.
America and Canada need to do more about fat people. Garnish their wages until they lose weight, make them enter programs, have fat camps, give incentives for them to lose weight. All it does it cost us money for their healthcare, and it makes the country less healthy.
Anyone else feel this way :?Toriko42
Don't be so freaking ignorant. This is the same as discriminating against any group. It's like how Jews were/are hated because people assume they are all greedy. Sure, maybe some Jews are greedy, but a lot of them are not, yet they were/are being prosecuted along with the others. Not all overweight people eat more than they should or are lazy. My best friend is about thirty pounds overweight, yet he eats less than me or any other of our friends. He also handles physical activity (like when we airsoft) just as well as anyone I know, too. If a blind person started hanging out with us and (for some reason) kept track of everything we ate and did, he'd NEVER guess that my friend is overweight.
BTW, I don't support "fat pride" either, that's almost as ignorant as the things you are saying.
Being able to *handle* physical activity isn't enough. If you're fat, get outside and walk. Simple and easy.Don't be so freaking ignorant. This is the same as discriminating against any group. I don't see your argument I used to be like your friend. I barely at any food yet I was 170 pounds at 5'6. Now I'm 134 pounds at 5'11 Guess how I did it, control and exercise. Real exercise, as in straining myself and not just handling physical activity.Don't be so freaking ignorant. This is the same as discriminating against any group. Nothing wrong with having pride in what you are, and I speak as an obese person. Alls I need to do is look at the Manatees, The hippos, and the rest the animals associated with obesity, then I take pride in it because the gentle giants of the animal kingdom are so majestic! :D
With my weight, I could glide underwater like a fish, fat people should have pride! Hell in medieval times obesity was associated with wealth, and nobility. They were looked up to! I think it's coming around again mein, that's right we fat people are taking over. Woot!

You shouldn't call them "fat"; it's "massively-challenged".xaosI know you're being sarcastic, but I hate this political correctness where we have to be nice about overweight people's body images. Yet I get people telling me I'm too thin all the time and most of those comments are from fat people >:( I'm a healthy weight so I'll gladly point out their flaws. I also hate people that say they wish they were thin like me, then go eat donuts and scoff at the idea of doing 3 hours of physical exercise a week. Lazy and self indulgent bastards!
That's impossible, because not everyone is fat due to over eating and/or lack of exercise. Like all ignorance, people apply a large group of people to one stereotype. If you try to get everyone who's fat to lose weight (through forceful means, as you suggested), it's not very fair to those who have conditions that make it impossible to do so. It would be much more logical (and less dick-ish) to just try to raise awareness of how unhealthy some food is, and to promote exercise and portion control (as many are already doing, i.e., "Supersize Me").Darth_TyrevPeople who are fat because of specific medical conditions (thyroid problems, for example) are a miniscule portion of people who are obese. Half a century ago, only a tiny percentage of Americans were overweight or obese. Now more than half of Americans are overweight or obese. It's not like 60% + of the population developed a genetic predisposition to being overweight in the last few decades.

It's like saying, "you shouldn't stereotype all prison inmates as criminals...some are innocent". Yes, some have a condiation, but they're in the absolute minority. Oh, and this has nothing to do with ignorance.
[QUOTE="Toriko42"] 150 pound overweight body starmetroidDo you mean 150 over the norm or just plain 150lbs? 150 pounds over the norm which qualifies as Obese
150lb overweight? excuse? Your making this into a fat bashing thread, expect this to be lockedblazinpuertorocIt's not fat bashing, just saying that the whole thing about 'big is beautiful' annoys me. 150 lbs overweight means they are over their target weight by 150 pounds.
:lol theymust be kidding Good lordToriko42
Is that a pron website? Because the site is blocked for me, so does it contain illegitimate... items?
No it is not, it's a blog and a big is beautiful siteIs that a pron website? Because the site is blocked for me, so does it contain illegitimate... items?

I was, and still am currently overweight (now just a bit, I'm working on it as you'll see just below). I didn't take any pride in it. Over the last year I've been eating right, exercising, not snacking before bed time, etc, etc, etc, and I've lost a lot of weight. Its amazing when I look at pictures of myself last year compared to now. I'm almost embarrassed I looked like that. Not to mention, attention from ladies = through the roof. I've gotten more "ace" recently than I ever have before (not that I did too bad). Theres nothing but good things that can come about from losing weight and being healthy. Weight is a personal struggle and shouldn't be legislated by the government. InterpolWilcoI agree with you there, when I lost the weight I felt so good, got compliments, ladies gave me attention and most importantly I felt really good. I could do a lot of things I could never do before and I was enjoying sports a lot more. I do think though that a lot of people need legislation to help them lose weight.
Let them do what they want. If they want to remain fat, that's there choice. But it's stupid for them to complain about the two airplane seats thing, and stuff like that.needled24-7I agree. I don't care what people look like...I just don't think that they have much of a right to complain about situations like having to buy two airplane seats.
As an slightly overweight person myself, I think this is absolutely ridiculous. I say stop crying and go on a treadmill for 5 hours. And while you're at it, burn your crappy food with a torch and eat a banana instead of a freaking twinkie.ghoklebutterBananas are good :D
