Well, its in the Arabic culture than men must sustain the family for their wives.

I think the Italian culture is similar.

If a women is the one whos holding the family in terms of funds and the man is a stay home father then that would usually result in the man being made a mockery out in the society.

Yeah it clearly elevates men over women. At the time the Koran was written men did have that authority so I can see why it was created in such a way but since it was divine and ever lasting book they should have add an escape clause to allow women to marry outside the faith. As you can see at least in modern times, power in relationships tend to be about equal between the two parties.

From what I read in the Koran male Muslims are allowed to marry "people of the book" females; while it's forbidden for Muslim females to marry outside the faith.

Not at all.

Its just that children are the ones who's gonna carry the tribe's name and hence be the actual part of it, so they're gonna follow whatever their fathers tribe is doing and become enemies to whoever their fathers tribe is an enemy off (In terms of Arabic culture).

There had been occasions where powerful tribe chiefs children would be ridiculed and some times disowned because their mother is a slave or not Arabic.

This system and way of though is still alive.

Umm....no.

If your a Muslim then that's ok with me, freedom of religion and all that. I know plenty of good hard working Muslims. But I think I'll pass on whatever it is your trying to do, especially Sharia Law, which is just tyranny and oppressive and I hope it dies.

I wish the hardcore Muslims would just drop that, Sharia Law has no place in the civilized world.
