How to end the illegal immigration problem.

I never said you were born with a silver spoon. Only that your situation and chance for success was far better than most illegals who live in a place with crime so bad it can challenge their military.

I'm more likely to be raped or robbed by a citizen than an illegal. It isn't as if only illegals do this.

Really want to stop illegal immigrants?? Turn America into an absolute hellhole, that makes somalia look like the garden of eden. That way people would want to immigrate to Mexico. See how they like them apples. Seriously though, I think that we need to make it easier to immigrate legally (atlhough I'll freely admit I don't really know how hard it is now.), because the average Mexican has a tremendous incentive to try to make his way into America. I would probably want to sneak over the border too, if I was Mexican.

I fully support people coming here legally, learning the language, learning traffic laws, getting a social security number, and paying their fair share in taxes. What I don't support are people who jump to the front of the line and refuse to do those things. I started thinking about some easy, common-sense ways to end the illegal immigration problem that don't even beefing up border security, constructing border fences, or massive deportation. Here are my ideas.

1. Get rid of the "anchor baby" loophole: You know what I'm talking about, that legal loophole where any baby born in the US is an American citizen regardless of their parents. It should be changed to where at least one parent must be a US citizen in order for the child to automatically become one.

2. Stop giving entitlements to people with no social security number: That's right, no free housing, no free health care, no food stamps, nothing; those are for US citizens; if you want it, become a legal citizen, and if you don't want to do that, then go back where you came from.

Do you like my ideas or are you just going to call me a racist for wanting people to come here legally?

My dad was born into one of those lives you're talking about, and he's just as strongly anti-illegal immigration.

The best way to get rid of illegal immigration is to go after the employers. If they hire illegal aliens and pay them less than a standard worker, they should have severe fines.

On Welfare for Immigrants (illegal or not, you can't base it on lack of a SSN)it is simple: If you pay taxes, yes. Should they pay more in taxes? Definitely IMO.

If they cross into our border without authorization why can't we just shoot on sight? They are infiltrating a restricted area.
