You shouldn't intentionally have a child if there is the slightest possibility you will not accept him/her for who they are. If the child will be a product of rape or simple immaturity then it is a different story entirely.

But there's always a possibility you will not accept a child for who they are. What if they become rapists themselves, or drug dealers, or gang bangers? You wouldn't accpet people who behave in such a manner when we live ina behaved society. your an atheist, so chances are you live by the law that anything that can happen, will happen in this or another universe.

I second that... I think the reason so many people are so unreasonably brash to someone they knows life style of being gay is the worry of what people will think.. So if my son truely felt that is where he belongs and how he feels Im not going to oppress him, hide under a rock and ignore it or dis-own him like so many people seem to do over something that really isn't that big of a deal.

But then again I am one to talk. I believe everyone should live by the philosophy that if you can't feed em, you shouldn't breed em.

I wouldn't care at all. I don't have a problem with homosexuality...I never have. I have many gay friends and a gay relative, and it's never bothered me at all. I don't even think about it, honestly.t3hrubikscube

I'm not quite sure that's what he's saying.

I'd try to raise him in a household where he doesn't have to feel ashamed of who he is as a person. Sure depending onhow he comes out I may be surprised but I don't see why I'd have a problem with it.

Oh and to all of the "its a sin" crowd Rape is a action that violates another human beings rights. Being gay doesn't hurt anyone its the most benign thing in the world.
