His/her sexuality would play no part in how I would treat him/her (remember, homosexuality is not exclusive to males); I would love them regardless.

I wouldn't care at all. Obviously I'd support him in every decision he makes. I don't believe his orientation is his decision, but despite that, I'd still be supportive with the circumstances. I guess it'd help because I'm like "this son" myself.

Exactly, that's how it should be and I'm happy that in general, society is raising their standards toward accepting homosexuality. Whether or not science begins to prove that homosexuality is hereditary, it's still the same case that women fought for, as did those who were opposed to racism. It's all just a hate crime, and many people don't understand what homosexuals have to go through ...
