To Americans of course!!! lolydnarrewopit's a fact for the world because our presence cannot go unnoticed and we are a very prosperous nation. Even people from other countries use things we make, like gamespot OT.
Is that something to be proud of? Come back when the world is a better place and brag then.SolidSnake35It's better because I'm in it....:x
The exact center of the world? No. The center of attention? Most of the time. But that isn't necesarrily a good thing. You americans should stop thinking so highly of yourself. America isn't the greatest place ever. Sure, you have some pretty neat places, but overall it's pretty shlttyDeihjan
Nice generalizations.

That's what I'm here for. Stereotypes and putting my foot in people's arses. You're totally right. A large precentage of Americans think way too highly of their country. In reality, it's not that great. It's not horrible, but I wouldn't call it a good country. We're just okay.[QUOTE="DarkOfKnight"]And China owns us.Austindro
Despite popular belief, this is false. Most of the US debt is owed to American investors.

A country without free speech is not an example of a good country...Thank you for not jumping me, because I don't agree with "America being superior". I'm not saying ALL of America sucks, but really. [QUOTE="chessmaster1989"] A country without free speech is not an example of a good country...SolidSnake35We do have free speech. But freedom of speech has its exceptions and that's one of them.
Either it's free or it isn't.
In other words, UK-ers are children that go crying to the goverment if someone hurts their sensitive feelings.
[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"] A country without free speech is not an example of a good country...SolidSnake35We do have free speech. But freedom of speech has its exceptions and that's one of them. I think the UK needs a lot of work on freedom of speech. Not a shining example of what freedom of speech should be about.

High taxes, low temperatures, and lots of free crap.

High taxes aren't a bad thing when your taxes aren't wasted like they are here in the US. I would much rather pay a higher tax rate and have something great come out of it, rather than paying a low tax rate just so my money can go to the benefit of a corrupt government. Please Log In to post.
