People say that you have no choice in your sexuality but I disagree with that. Mainly because choosing to be straight is like choosing anything else in life.

There's no evidence of any biological cause for necrophilia. Like any other paraphilia, it's caused by the desire to seek sexual relations that are out of line with social norms. Also, paraphilias have victims, in this case the families of the deceased. Homosexuality is victimless and has multiple biological explanations, such as hormone imbalance during pregnancy and genetics.

You choose to act on feelings. Like high functioning psychopaths. Say a person likes to beat up on things, so instead of assaulting everyone they hone that tendency into being a MMA fighter. Not saying all MMA fighters are psychopaths (debatable).

You choose to act out on gay/lesbian tendancies. You're not forced to do it.

The biggest argument is comparing it to race. Yeah that's not cool. Why? I'm sure a Black person can't act on their skin colour as a gay person can act on their actions.
