HAARP is real. Please do some real research into the details of the patent on it's technology before dismissing it.

Yeah HAARP is real but not to the extent that people start blaming it whenever there are tectonic movements.[QUOTE="JTWibble"]I wonder how long it will be before the Venezuelan President accuses America of using it's "earthquake machine"hartsickdiscipl

You make it sound like it was caused by the US. hahaha[QUOTE="hartsickdiscipl"][QUOTE="JTWibble"]I wonder how long it will be before the Venezuelan President accuses America of using it's "earthquake machine"darkfox101

You make it sound like it was caused by the US. hahahaI'm not saying it was, and I'm not saying it wasn't. I do think it's a little funny that FEMA had a huge drill in Haiti the week before the big quake there last year. FEMA's main focus this year is preparedness for a "catastrophic event in the New Madrid fault system," which runs through the heart of the US. Do some Googling and reading on this subject for 10-15 minutes and you'll know something is up.

Yeah HAARP is real but not to the extent that people start blaming it whenever there are tectonic movements. Not always but people are starting to see a patern and they have to blame it on something, either god the mayans or HAARP, which imo seems real.
Highly recommend watching this whole video and doing some independent googling about the threat of a major quake in the New Madrid fault system in the US in the very near future-

Does your mom not know Japan gets major quakes?[QUOTE="Pirate700"]
[QUOTE="JustPlainLucas"]Figures. I tell my mom about the earthquake, and she starts going off about the End of Days.. I need to stop telling her about bad news.hartsickdiscipl
In fairness, this is the biggest one they've ever recorded.
not the worst ever recorded but this is about as bad as they get.

I hope this aint a teaser for the great premiere of real life (not reel-life) 2012.Not buying predictions and all,but today Japan's state has got people ,at least some of them![QUOTE="ionusX"]

That's quite something for an area known to have frequent natural earthquakes. So on second thoughts,I am not quite sure what to make of thos Auroral Reasearch program theory that some people have already stated in this thread. But whatever it is,I hope Japan gets over this quickly. After all tenacity and willpower are something that Japanese have in abundance.I hope this aint a teaser for the great premiere of real life (not reel-life) 2012.Not buying predictions and all,but today Japan's state has got people ,at least some of them![QUOTE="Serioussamik"]

Not a murmur? You mean like the 7.2 quake that hit the same area last week?
overreact and typical media hype to create public panic to west coast and hawaii.
First of all, it's rural area in Japan, like Maine in United States or PEI in Canada. It has very little (or none) economicsimpact to ppl living in North America, unless you have flight to Japan today, so you might get few hours delay. check nasdaq and dow today.

im not saying we havent heard anything from it but it was expected we were suppsoed to get something of this magnitude if not worse for a while. sure we heard smaller ones but nohting like this for a while.

7.2 is a big one. That was our warning. It was actually 2 days ago, not last week like I said previously.

hahaha
your pretty ignorant
japan is pretty important and anything damaging to them on their pacific side does actually do some harm. japan is a leading exporter of stuff int he east and a major center of science and manufacturing. this is going to elave a significant welt everywhere.
prices on asian imports of specific goods will probably go up
and the IT industry dont even get me started on any possible traffic rerouting thats going to have to happen.
This is truly a tragic event indeed. Not to mention that we have a economy to worry about since we import alot from Japan in the US. It is only been the third month of 2011 and so far, it has a tragic one.

No.Actually selfishness more than ignorance infuriates me when I hear this kind of BS.It's like "oh why should I care as long as I have my job and the Walmart in my neighbourhood?"!People are getting so self-centred and hypocritic make me feel it would have been nice had there been a Doomsday or two.At least people would understand humanity more than ever!!!!!
Think about the people first pal.Yes,people who are affected! Relax, I just donated $10 for Redcross for the donation. I was addressing how this disaster also affects the world, not just Japan. Besides, why are you targeting me? There are posters in this thread MAKING JOKES which makes me sick.

I am not targetting you.Why would I? Besides you promptly mentioned the tragic nature of the incident so truly,so I understand! And now that I learn about your donation,it is heart warming indeed.I just pointed out that this is not the time for worries regarding the economy. That tme will come.
If any of my comment hurt you I duly apologise.:) No hard feelings pal!

Personally I feel that should not happen to any nation. In all nations, the good people outnumber the bad people, trust me.....so in the end good people suffer more than the nefarious ones in these catatrophic situations. Why Japan?.. Why couldn't this happen to one of the crap nations nobody likes?

The one that people are starting to talk about is the New Madrid Fault Zone in the middle of the US. FEMA is already gearing-up big-time for a massive quake that could split the US in 2 and put much of the south-central US under water.
