Just thinking about this stuff makes me sick. I have a lot of friends over there I haven't gotten in contact with yet. I'm sure they are fine since the area I was located is a good ways away from the coast, but still, you never know.

Crazy thing is that Japan is nation that prepares itself for possibilities of earthquakes and tsunamis. That being said, the devastation is enormous. Mother Nature can such a horrible force at times.
