[QUOTE="RadBooley"][QUOTE="blackregiment"]Well, I do not want to get to graphic on here so I'll just mention a few like using and abusing drugs and alcohol, covetness, lying, adultery, premarital relations, lust, theft, things like that among many others.

But... I don't follow any sort of organized religion and I don't use drugs, abuse alcohol, commit adultery, steal things, etc.
Those are mostly just common sense things. I don't need religion to tell me that...
Good for you. So are you saying that you have never sinned according to God's standards of righteousness? God says we are all sinners. Biblical Christianity is not a religion. Religions are man made and are man's attempt to reach up to a holy God and earn salvation through works. The Bible says that all of our works, no matter how good we think they are, are as filty rags to God. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation. Biblical Christianity is a personal relationship with Christ. It is God, in love reaching down to His fallen and sinful creation, offering a path to salvation through His grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, not of works lest any man should boast.
I never said I "never sinned". I said that I don't do quite a few of those things mentioned in the Bible. ...without an actual Bible to tell me so, no less.
I don't see how Biblical Christianity isn't a religion, though. You're basing your entire system of beliefs on one book. Biblical Christianity is man made (man wrote the Bible) and are an attempt to reach out to god (seeing as you're always talking about your personal relationship with him). The "through works" bit, though, should not be in the definition of religion. Be it your attempt to differentiate yourself from other Christians or whatever, but a religion does not have to focus on doing good works. As long as it's a strong system of beliefs and morals with some sort of supernatural power, it's a religion.
