[QUOTE="Thinker_reborn"][QUOTE="Mister_Mushroom"]I am not an expert on Islam, but don't Muslims feel that while Jesus was a prophet, he was not God? I personally am more comfortable with that. I mean, I know Christianity isn't 100% correct (seeing as it was written by vampires ) but it strikes me as odd to say that a human is God.Mister_MushroomYes that's what muslims believe. So, to Islam, is Jesus kind of like Moses is to Jewish people? A prophet who shared some important moral ideas, but was inspired by, rather than actually, God?Yes that's right.
[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="Thinker_reborn"] You do realise that except a couple of sects, the whole muslim world believes that jesus never died and will come back before the day of judgement? If they were following Him they'd be Christian...not Muslim. It's all in the details dude.;)Well not going to argue on that.My only point was that in your statement you should have added something like "followers of chirst who __________".You might wish to look the definition up. Christian...you seem to be confused. So if they are waiting for him than how are they not following him?

And since Jesus of Nazareth was a prophet to the Islamic religion, aren't Islamic followers technically following his teachings? To go a step further, there are branches of Christianity, specfiically the anti-Trinitarians, who do not believe Jesus was God. Those branches are still Christians, they follow his teachings, they think he was a prophet, but not God, are they also not Christian :? - I must confess, this is all very confusing, because some people will claim to be Christian, and yet others here are saying those people "don't count" :| Isn't someone a Christian if they claim to be, or does that not hold true unless they meet some requirements? ...Dude... Take a joke thread for what it is...I am sorry but I find this thread and your unsupported claims regarding Jesus Christ, offensive to Christians. You compare followers of Christ to sheep and a food supply. This is offensive to followers of Christ.
You are free to believe whatever you want about vampires but I do not find it acceptable to blaspheme our Lord and Savior with unsupported opinions and claims calling Christ a vampire and Christians sheep, a food supply.
Care to supply some real hard evidence, other than novels and opinions from web sites to support your historically incorrect assertion. For example manuscript evidence, eyewitness testimony from ancient writers, or the proof of the "occult teachings of Christianity prior to Constantine". How about some proof for the claim that you made that that "Jesus was Dracula." Show us some ancient writers that existed at the time of Jesus and recoded their eyewitness testimony.
You wrote, "I'm just curious, how will this knowledge, the scientific fact that Jesus was Dracula" and "Dracula did not claim to be a God", well Jesus did claim to be God so you just refuted your own claim.
You identify yourself as Christian. Well Christians put their faith in Jesus Christ and live their lives base on God's Word revealed in the Bible. Perhaps you can point me to Scripture that reveals that Christ is Dracula. The Bible teaches that we cannot serve two masters so how do you reconcile your belief in Jesus as Dracula, a Jesus that is not the Biblical Jesus with the Jesus revealed in the Bible?

...Dude... Take a joke thread for what it is... This isn't a joke thread, it isn't meant as satire, and it's not intended to offend Christians :| All claims regarding Jesus are "unsupported", there are dozens upon dozens of sects of Christianity, all trying to claim the others aren't "true Christians", (because if they were true Christians they would believe / do ______________ ). - Calling Christians "sheep" isn't offensive, Jesus himself said "sheep go to heaven, goats go to hell". I certainly would not call Christians *goats*, I, for one, think saying that someone is "going to burn forever in the lake of fire" is terrible, I mean, where would anyone (other than God ) get off saying "you'd better agree with me or you'll burn forever?". - There is no "hard evidence" for a marginalized religious group whose strong desire was to keep their existence a secret for thousands of years. Anyone who was "eyewitness" to the fact was killed. Dracula as Jesus wouldn't have worked if everyone knew he was a vampire, but now, since he no longer needs the church (thanks in part to modern technology) there is no harm in letting people know the truth. - I do identify myself as Christian. And I do put my faith in Jesus Christ - the real one - Dracula. Unfortunately Dracula wasn't really preaching God's word. Why on earth would a SCRIPTURE *written by vampires to conceal their identity* contain a passage *stating that it was written by vampires*? Wouldn't that sort of blow the whole gig? - Biblical Jesus was a fictiona character, the real Jesus, Dracula, however, DID EXIST, DID perform his works, and those miracles were 100% real. My question STILL hasn't been answered though, and I WANT IT ANSWERED: - Supposing Jesus wasn't who he claimed to be (hypoethically, if you'd like, pretend if you have to ) would you still follow his teachings, and the teachings of the Bible? Does the bible contain good moral lessons *even if it was written by false prophets*? I want to know what people think on that, but no one is answering that question :([QUOTE="blackregiment"][QUOTE="Mister_Mushroom"] Technically I am a Christian, I believe The Christ is Savior. It's just, the Christ is actually a vampire, and the Gift of Eternal Life comes from consuming his true blood. Note, at the last supper, Dracula gave them WINE, not his true blood, AND without receiving his bite, drinking his blood would just cause suffering. - However communion is the ritual of receiving the Blood & Essense of the Vampire Master.
-
Not all Christians are comfortable with this claim, and that's fine. I understand the Christians who don't share my beliefs, and respect that they are entitled to believe Christ was not a vampire. That's fine :)
Mister_Mushroom
Sorry, you can call yourself a Chrisitan but what you are esposing is unbiblical and contrary to the Word of God. You are mocking the Lord. You have yet to provide a single shred of evidence for your claims.
Here is what the Bible says about that.
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.I don't accept your speculation. The Bible is the inspired Word of God. Support you claim with evidence.
The entire Bible is the inerrant, inspired, preserved, revelation from God ofHimself, His interaction with and plan of salvation for His creation with Jesus Christ as the central revelation.
The Bible is composed of 66 separate books, written over approximately 1,600 years, by at least 40 distinct authors, from all walks of life, written in three different languages, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, on three different continents, all in perfect agreement and revealing a consistent message, the path to salvation in Jesus Christ. The Old Testament contains 39 books written from approximately 1500 to 400 BC, and the New Testament contains 27 books written from approximately 40 to 65 AD.
There is no other book that has ever come close to this remarkable achievement and wisdom. Anyone that reads and studies it and cannot see the inspiration and work of God in the Bible just doesn't want to. Try getting 40 people in the same room or on the same internet thread to agree on something and it will be clear that the Bible is God's inspired, inerrant, and preserved Word. Anyone can pick a verse out of the Bible and try to discredit it but when one openly and honestly looks at all of the evidence for the truth of the Bible in its entirety, only one that chooses to remain in rebellion to the Lord will reject it. It has been said, even by secular psychologists, that if one studies the Sermon on the Mount, in the 5th, 6th, and 7th chapters of Matthew, the excellence of the wisdom, guidance, and life lessons of the words and teachings of Jesus in just those verses, surpasses the totality of all advice ever written in the history of man by all psychologists and sociologists that ever lived. Many concede that if all the advice ever written by those experts were condensed down, into one document, the wisdom for living in Jesus' teachings would dwarf them in significance. This is overwhelming evidence for the divine inspiration and truth of the Bible as well as the divinity of Christ.
In the Old Testament
The books of Law reveal the foundation for Christ the Messiah
The historical books reveal the preparation for Christ the Messiah
The books poetic books aspire to Christ the Messiah
The books of prophecy reveal the expectation of Christ the Messiah
In the New Testament
The Gospels reveal the historical manifestation of Christ the Messiah
The Acts reveal the propagation of Christ the messiah
The Epistles reveal the interpretation of Christ the Messiah
Revelation reveals the consummation of all things in Christ the Messiah
God has not revealed His entire plan and everything regarding the natural world to man. Man could not possibly comprehend it with our finite mind. He has revealed what He, as our Creator, wants us to know.
That wasn't my question. My question, the one I want answered is as follows:
IF the bible were not the word of God (please don't try to argue whether it is or isn't, just answer the question ) would you still consider the material within to be a good moral guideline for living life? Do the stories in the bible provide moral insight, wisdom, and value to the reader EVEN IF THE BIBLE HAD BEEN WRITTEN BY A FALSE PROPHET. I want that question answered.
One question... why make an alt account to make this thread?MAILER_DAEMONBecause people have pre-conceived notions based on a username, they think "he holds _________ belief, and he's going to try and make me think ______________ ". I wish to generate genuine thought, and ultimately drive people to recognize the leaps of faith inherient in all religion, and that morality, and goodness, can exist outside of the preconceived notions of one narrow set of beliefs. That's an impossible, even idealistic goal, I realize, given that thousands of years of pointless wars have been fought over religion and that numerous religions have been used as tools of war. - But I can dream MAILER, can I not? And maybe, just maybe, if certain people are willing to answer one little bitty simple hypothetical question, honestly, without argument, without saying "but I don't agree with the question" - we can build some bridges toward understanding. Mister_Mushroom
One cannot separate higher moral law from God because to do so would require that law to be set by man and therefore result in moral relativism.
The existence of an unchanging higher moral law is evidence of a supreme being. Without that standard, then morality would become subject to change. relative to the whims of the individual and the temporal powers to be, at any given time. When standards are set by men in power at the time, we end up with holocausts abortion, euthanasia, etc. Of course the standards for righteousness and morality in the Bible are perfect because they are God's standards. You cannot separate them from our Supreme Creator God as anything less would be moral relativism, subjective, and therefore imperfect. God is perfect. The desire for fame, fortune, power, and pleasure drive many to seek their own self-interest at the expense of others. The things we do in pursuit of these will ultimately be judged by the Supreme Law Giver. Without ultimate judgement and accountability to our Supreme Law Giver for our acts, then justice will not be served for many things that people "got away with" in this life.
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecc 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
1. Dracula is associated with much evil, Jesus Christ is the Ultimate personification of Good.
2. Our Faith should be based solely on God's revealed Word, not any other source.
3. I'm not sure if you know this, but claiming Jesus to be something which he is not, is blasphemy.
My advice, is get back to reading Scripture, remove these thoughts, and pray for understanding of the real Truth.

The fallacy in your premise is that you seem to think that God's Word is subject to verification and confirmation by "outside sources", that His finite creation is capable and qualified to judge Him, the Creator. God is under no burden to have His creation, verify His Word as valid. God has revealed Himself in His creation, in His Word, in Jesus Christ, and in the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives. The internal consistency of the message of Christ the Messiah found in 66 separate books, written over 1500 years, by 40 different inspired authors, from many different walks of life, on three continent, in three different languages is evidence of God's divine inspiration. Another evidence is the history of the nation of Israel, God's chosen people. Never before or since in history has a nation been dispersed, its people assimilated into other peoples, their language die out for hundreds of years, only to be reconstituted as a nation and their language restored, just as prophesied in Scripture. Another evidence is the hundreds of prophecies fulfilled in Christ as well as in other nations and peoples. In addition, there is the evidence of the power of God's Word to lift people out of lives of despair, addiction, immorality, etc.
Rather than attempt to marginalize God's Word, I suggest you study it and let its power work in your life to lead you to the truth in Christ.
I'm honestly a bit confused about what the problem is here though, why is it okay for people to say that others are "going to hell" and "going to burn in a lake of fire" if they don't accept Jesus Christ as their savior, and yet someone preaching tolerance, acceptance of all religions, and asking if the Bible can provide good moral insight even if people don't believe it to be a "holy book" is questioned as a troll? People don't "condemn" other people to hell as you incorrectly suggest. God doesn't even condemn anyone to hell. Without Christ, we are condemned already. We are all on that superhighway to perdition. We "condemn" ourselves when we reject God's plan of salvation in Christ which He lovingly offers to anyone that will repent and put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. God gives us a free will to accept the exit ramp, faith in Jesus Christ, from that superhighway to perdition, or reject it. He will force no one to take that exit ramp. That choice is entirely ours. You identify yourself as a Christian. You should know these things. This is basic Christian truth.
I realize, given that thousands of years of pointless wars have been fought over religion and that numerous religions have been used as tools of war. Mister_Mushroom
I do not agree with this statement. If you study the history of war, the vast majority of wars have been fought over land, wealth. and for temporal political power. There have been times when men of a common religion have draped themselves in the banner of religion fopr expediency, but rarely has a major war been fought over strickly the differences in the religious beliefs of peoples.

I agree with your sentiments. Anyone can go to the ask the mods thread, see link below, and see that the topic creator pleaded with the mods to unlock this thread on the basis of his assertion that his beliefs in vampires, that Jesus was Dracula, that Christianity was created so that there would be an adequate "food supply" for vampires, etc., is a valid religion and is taught in a Church he attends.
http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26694922&tag=topics;titleNow, he is explaining that that was not his real motivation. Which is it?
Also conspicuous is that the topic creator has chosen to mock the beliefs of Christians, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and has suggested that the Catholic Church is somehow now involved in his vampire conspiracy. This is offensive to Christian and Catholics. I notice he has not mocked the beliefs of Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, or other faiths, all while identifying himself as a Christian. Why is this? He now states that his goal is tolerance among religions but his mocking of the tenets of Christianity is anything but tolerant of the right of others to hod differing beliefs. Again, the topic creator is free to hold any beliefs he choose, but he has yet to provide any evidence to support his beliefs and his specific assault on Christianity,
I think the topic creator has a lot of explaining to do regarding his real motives and why it appears he intentionally mislead the moderators on his intentions.
Our words of the fossils of the true intent of our hearts.

The difference is that Christians can and do support their faith with evidence, not just unsupported opinions. I agree with your statement regarding intolerance. There is a lot of intolerance shown to Christians by non-believers that try to silence any Christian that dares to express their faith and the mountain of evidence for the truth of Christianity. I completely disagree. While there are certainly some Christians that THINK their faith is supported by a "mountain" of evidence (if that were really true, would it still be faith?), I don't think the majority of believers look any further than the Bible and what daddy taught them.
If you see Christians being given a hard time in these threads, well, I'm sorry about that. I think what the problem often is is pretty well exemplified by your own post: we have evidence while those guys only have opinions, we have the truth while those guys have lies, we are going to heaven while you all are going to hell. That smacks of arrogance and some level of self-involvement. After all, knowing that the "other guys" believe the exact same things about their religion, all a Christian really has is "yeah, but we actually ARE right!" It's a pretty obtuse argument. Worse, the way Christians talk, it's as if you DON'T fully understand or accept that the faith and belief of others is the EXACT same as yours, you actually believe that your faith is somehow a different flavour... that it is somehow richer and deeper because of course it's the TRUTH, right?

this Christian divisiveness is something that was thoroughly discouraged in the scriptures, yet so many practice it openly. it is not for the Christian to judge others, this is more than clear in the scriptures - yet he openly does it. i'm sure he'll find one scripture to support himself despite the dozens that oppose it though :P.
1. Why? Says who, you? Dracula is a moral being, granting his followers eternal life, and keeping order amongst the vampires to prevent violence, bloodshed, and zombie-ism. Were it not for Dracula, all of humanity would have been killed during the dark ages. 2. How do you know that what you're reading is God's Word? Unless God comes down in his true, obviously God, form all we have are people claiming to be him, or claiming to speak for him. How do we sort out who is correct (and again, don't say "with the Bible", this is circular reasoning ). 3. Claiming that something which is not God is God is also blasphemy, both Judaism and Islam feel that Jesus was NOT God, therefore in the eyes of a great deal of the Middle East, what Christians are claiming is blasphemy. In reality, the claim of "blasphemy" is just a means of avoiding an uncomfortable subject. If one is truly "of the faith" then they should be able to address the possibility that their religion is founded on a false premise, that others could be right, or that their particular interpretation of their religion *might not be correct*.[QUOTE="dsmccracken"]not to mention how un-Christian his approach has been. many Christians forget some of the most important lessons from the Bible, while using scripture to try to condemn their fellow man.I completely disagree. I was hoping BlackRegiment would answer my question, rather than refuse. I am surprised by BlackRegiment's refusal to answer the question, and the tone of the posts on page nine left me feeling as though I've been labeled an "enemy" simply for raising an alternative viewpoint. My religious beliefs are being attacked and called "false", I'm being told to "read the scripture" and "find the TRUTH"... what does that mean? Yet when I suggest the same thing, that my religious beliefs are, in fact, the correct ones, and that the Bible has led Christians astray, I am attacked. I am more than happy to read whatever scripture you'd like, and contemplate it, but the reverse must also be true - you must also be willing to consider *my viewpoint* free from your pre-existing biases.

I will read whatever scripture any Christian would like, under the condition that they honestly answer how the revelation of Jesus being a false God would change how they behave in the religion. Would you still feel the Bible's stories provide moral guidance? Can something written under a false premise still contain good values, or a good message? Does the author really matter, if the story is good?
I have a personal religious belief, others have their personal religious beliefs, and yes, it is arrogant to claim one is more "valid" than the other when both of them are based on a leap-of-faith, and on supernatural tenets. I say Jesus is a Vampire, they say Jesus is a Zombie, and yet I'm a "blasphemer" and "satan worshipper" and "going to hell" because my interpretation of Christ is different.

Now for tolerance. The correct definition of tolerance is respecting the right of others to hold differing beliefs. It does not mean accepting all beliefs as equally valid. Today, in the world of political correctness, it has been redefined to accepting all beliefs as equally valid.
All beliefs are not equally valid. God gave each of us to believe whatever we want and He will give us the eternal consequences of that choice. As He has revealed in His Word, He does not hold all beliefs as equally valid.
I have a copy in front of me, I would like you to prove that statement to me. I would love to see each of the lines of scripture proven by outside sources.[QUOTE="Mister_Mushroom"][QUOTE="blackregiment"][The entire Bible is the inerrant, inspired, preserved, revelation from God of Himself, blackregiment
But it is YOU that have contended that a "mountain" of evidence exists... is this what you were talking about? Your mountain is the BIBLE? Israel? I cannot be responsible for your lack of understanding of the doctrine of Biblical judgement. Refuting error with the Word of God is not judgment, it is what Christians are called to do. It is called reproof. Christians do not condemn others to hell either, God is the Judge. Only God can know ones heart. God does not even condemn anyone to hell. We do it ourselves when we reject Christ.

Feel free to believe whatever you want but I find your unsupported mockery of Jesus Christ and His Word as offensive. Feel free to question Christian beliefs all you want. Once you come to THAT realization, you are one step closer to seeing things as they really are, not as you wish them to be. When you're in high school (or even middle school) the first time you have a crush on a girl / boy, and you start dating, and you think you're in love, you're totally convinced that what you're feeling is unique. NO ONE could *ever* have possibly felt the way you do about that girl / boy that you do. Your love is the strongest, the most powerful. "Mom, Dad, you don't understand our love!". And when things fall apart? It's devastating, it's the end of the world "how could they do this to me? I'll never love again!". - Then you grow up, become an adult, and realize that you're not the only person to fall in love. Love exists between all sorts of people, and their relationships are just as passionately and deeply held as your own, if not more so. You realize that your relationship is special to *you*, but that other people can also have special relationships. You start to realize you can't just run around assuming every dozen roses, box of chocolates, and valentines' day card was intended for only *your* take on love - in fact, there is a whole shelf full of love cards, chocolates, flowers, and poetry. - The point of "tolerance" isn't that you have to accept my faith, the point of tolerance is to realize that others believe *with just as much certainity* that their faith is absolute, that they too have God's Word in their hand, that your version of God's Word is a false prophecy, and that their convictions, beliefs, and feelings are as sincere and deeply held as your own. Then you realize that what's happening is essentially that both sides are simply saying "my religion is right and yours is wrong because the holy book of my choice says that the holy book of your choice isn't the *real* word of God, I know because I read it, and because it is the Word of God according to me, it must be right". - It's all a big circular logic to avoid admitting that, at some point, man-made judgement was involved. God didn't come down to endorse the proper book, you, or someone, decided that the particular holy text / belief system / whatever you've chosen is correct. But, that doesn't magically invalidate the other belief systems.I cannot be responsible for your lack of understanding of the doctrine of Biblical judgement. Refuting error with the Word of God is not judgment, it is what Christians are called to do. It is called reproof. Christians do not condemn others to hell either, God is the Judge. Take a little ownership here for your own convictions... you may not be the judge (God is) in your worldview, but you DO choose to believe that "non-believers" will, and should, be judged, and burn in hell for eternity.

I have spoken with some of the vampires responisble, they have assured me of this fact. I avoid using swear words or name-calling, because those are not conducive to good discussion, however if you are offended by my religious beliefs there is little I can do for you. I believe Jesus was not God, and that the Bible was written with a socio-political, rather than spiritual, intent. I believe Christianity as it currently stands is leading people astray. You believe otherwise, and that is fine, but even if your beliefs offend me, tolerance grants us both the right to hold and speak about our differing beliefs.
You better believe that I will confront you with the Word of God when you attack my Lord and Savior with unfounded and unsupported mockery of Him. Feel free to believe whatever you want but I find your unsupported mockery of Jesus Christ and His Word as offensive blackregiment
Mister_Mushroom,
My final word to you is this. Just as I have consistently said, you are free to believe whatever you want to believe. No one is going to try and stop you from believing whatever you want. God doesn't even do that. He gave all of us the choice to pay the price for our own sins or accept Christ's payment in our stead. He will not force anyone to accept His gift of salvation. If you truly believe that Jesus is Dracula, then one thing is for certain, you will get to tell Him that to His face one day. Let me know how that goes. Say what you want but I am convinced that your whole purpose in starting this thread was to intentionally offend Christians by blaspheming Jesus Christ and His Word. If you truly wanted to discuss Christian beliefs, there are many ways you could do that without blaspheming our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and His Word. I will have no further part in giving you an excuse to continue to do what you are trying to do. It is too offensive for my tastes.
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecc 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Good luck
[QUOTE="blackregiment"] I cannot be responsible for your lack of understanding of the doctrine of Biblical judgement. Refuting error with the Word of God is not judgment, it is what Christians are called to do. It is called reproof. Christians do not condemn others to hell either, God is the Judge. Only God can know ones heart. God does not even condemn anyone to hell. We do it ourselves when we reject Christ.2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:Your condescension about our inability to understand aside, it's a bit of a cop-out to say "I'm not judging you, God is." Take a little ownership here for your own convictions... you may not be the judge (God is) in your worldview, but you DO choose to believe that "non-believers" will, and should, be judged, and burn in hell for eternity.
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.Tit 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Tit 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Joh 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. dsmccracken
If you find God's revealed Word "condescending", then take it up with Him. It is His Word, not mine. I will not compromise His perfect revealed Word to meet your worldly standards. As I mentioned, if you have a problem with what God has revealed, then take it up with Him, we will all get our chance to do that someday whether you choose to believe that or not. God gave us a free will to choose to do just that.
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecc 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
BlackRegiment, My goal is not to offend Christians. I would only like you to answer my simple question: Were the Bible not the Word of God, would it still be a good book? Would it still provide valuable stories, moral insights, and teachings? If you cannot answer this question for me, I'm afraid that what you're doing is simply lecturing me on your own beliefs, rather than attempting to engage me. It takes two to tango, so to speak, a conversation is a two way street, and I feel like you're not listening to me.Mister_Mushroom
I answered your question earlier. If my answer is not sufficient for you then that is too bad. I explained in detail why I believe that the Bible is the Word of God and why His truths are unseparable from Him. Jesus Christ is the living Word and therefore your question as stated is irrational because Jesus's Word cannot be both Him and not him in the same time and sense. Jesus is the Word and his Word and truth is inseparable from Him. That being the case, you questionis a violation of the law of non-contradiction and therefore irrational based on God's revelation.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
