I used an indirect search technique. I didn't look for verbatim verses, I used queries like "The bible says masturbation is a sin"

When I was going to get confirmed as catholic, a father gave us a paper that said many sins so you could see if you had committed some of those. There it said: "commit acts of impure masturbation So, I'm sure it is a sin. Period.

Just to clear things up, somene I know once daringly asked our R.E teacher about this, to which this teacher said that even Catholic priests are allowed to masturbate by the church

Yes, but unless you mean the feminist Bible, they are never drastically edited to say something that is fundamentally different from the original manuscripts. As far as I know, there isn't a Bible that says "Condoms are bad."
